Great video on pinching back . Clear and concise instructions! Thank you,
Thanks!
Excellent video on pinching. So glad you decided to expand your photography expertise teaching us tips on growing flowers. Thank you. I always enjoy your videos.
😊
Interesting. I pinch way earlier than you do. I find the base of the plant is much more stable, and a lot less top heavy as it branches out. Glad your method works for you. Always fun to see others methods.
Thank you my Dahlias are small in pots with flowers and buds.. I wasn't sure weather to cut the buds off or not but after watching you I will start pinching mine.. thanks From Australia.. 🌷 🇳🇿
Thanks for watching!
So helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing and the reminder to pinch 😁
My winter sown larkspur looks the same! I’m going to plant it out in the garden today and see if it maybe gets a little taller and fuller.
I've got to do some pinching....as well as weeding! Appreciate the glimpse into the weedy 'reality' of gardening 😂
Learned a lot today
My plants have looked so bad with our heat/drought in June...afraid to do anything but water them. My zinnias will be ready for market this week. I don't pinch them. I take them in pint/qt. jars. I don't need the longer stems..and I get to market sooner. They are branching and will more so after I take out the center cuts for market.I'll start a fall succession also. That's the earliest I have anything . Snaps and lissies later. Dying to try tulips..I have the space..hmmm. I will try the celosia pinching thanks for the tips. Love your farm!!
Your zinnias sound great!
Thank you sooooo much. Sooooooooooo helpful!
You’re welcome!
Food for thought: my larkspur has always branched from the base after I harvest the central stem, so try planting out yours after you cut them -- you might be surprised!
Ooh! Thanks!
