Love the video, it brings back so many memories for me. My late father used to work on an arable farm and had alot of ford tractors. 3000s 4000s, 6610 and 8210. I used to sit in the cab with him it was amazing.

Great video. I driven a Ford 4000 and a 4600 for a long time working for bees nursery's Sealand Road chester. Great memories you give me back. ❤❤ thanks for sharing 👍

Very nice video. I think the restored dark blue Fordsons look mighty nice but don't know that they are the best for work. Love the sound of those smaller diesel engines. Thanks for sharing.

Great video. I learnt to drive a super major with a two furrow reverisble plough when i was 13. Brought back a lot of memories seeing them in action.

The 7000 is an interesting tractor. I remember them being introduced and the unusual (at the time) Load Monitor control on the hydraulics.

Hello, thank you for the great video. My favourite parts are the scenes featuring the 7810 and the blonde stacking the loose hay on the wagon. 😉. Greetings from Germany and all the best for 2024

Here in the west of Ireland many people's first tractor would've been a ferguson 20 which makes those fordsons absolutely faxcinating to watch. I've a feeling horse drawn machinery lasted much longer for us due to small farm size and lack of money. In my youth much farm machinery would've been designed for the horse but modified to be used with a tractor. Great vid.

Great video again and a superb selection of Ford and Fordson tractors. My personal favourites would be the pre force and force 3000 and 4000's as they were the first tractors i drove. Those fantastic sounding 3 cylinder engines. I also am a fan of the later models, too .
From 4600's to 5610 and 6610's but i have a soft spot for the 6 cylinder models 7840, TS 115 through to TS 135A.. Then, the last tractor i drove a T6.165.
As someone once said I had Ford blue blood in my veins and the name Ford running through me like a stick of Blackpool rock. A true Ford man through and through.

I think I see more Ford's than any other tractor. They were very popular in the UK.

Great video who'd have thought back a few years ago the ford name would have disappeared off tractors. After being the top selling brand for so many years it's quite sad really !! 😢

Yes, who would ever have predicted the loss of the Ford name on tractors. It's a constantly changing world.

Another great video thanks. I have many happy memories growing up on a farm with a 4000, 3x5000 and a 7000 in the 70s. then the local drainage contractor visited with a fleet of majors

My father drove a tractor for an agricultural contractor in the late 1940 and early 1950 the first tractor that I remember was an E27N in about 1954 he had a brand new diesel Major the Reg no was OTT 259.The first Majors were equipped with a short shaft with a square end at the front to which you put a handle with a square hole the idea was to turn the engine over I'm not sure what it was for it was impossible to over come the compressing ,but the engine was equipped with a de-compressing leaver at that time..
*Top tip* when removing the sump ,on each side of the sump in line of the sump setscrews, you will see a square one half of the square is in the engine block the other half is in the sump the two half together form a square and are the size of a 3/4 or 7/8 AF spanner if you fit a spanner on both sides of the engine you are able to remove the setscrews without the sump crashing down ..

We had a fordson major on the stables where i worked, it was started by bumping it by pulling it behind a pickup. The fordson had previously worked in a jute factory.

Love Ford tractors. I find them nostalgic. I grew up on a dairy farm in the 80s and 90s. We had Ford tractors then. Dexta, 3000,4000,4600,6610,7740 until the cross over to New Holland..

    Thanks Brian.
Why is it that. T.V.O smells most prominent when coming out of the exhaust of a Standard Fordson?
No other tractor can do this apart from Case tractors.

Great video covering pretty well every Ford/Fordson possible
My personal favourite would have to be the orange wheel super dexta at around 15 minutes which looks to be very close to my own super dexta and even it’s reg number is very similar to mine so likely it was built pretty close to the same time 🚜👍🏼
