@@Bruh1 yea actually, hold the options button and the PlayStation at the same time. Hold for about 3 secs then you should see a glowing orange light(this means it’s in pairing mode) then have your Bluetooth settings on and you should see it pop up and make sure it’s charged first

My question is why does it do that, I turned my ps5 into rest mode to charge. A 4 hours later I turned it on and the controller wouldn’t sync to the console. Thankfully its still works and I was able to connect it back to it. Just curious why it wasn’t connecting back to it.

Don’t allow it to charge while on rest mode (somewhere on settings you can do that)

Hey guys I really need help with my ps5 control. Was playing and suddenly no buttons was working except the joysticks!
So restarted my ps5 console. And now my control doesn't want too work at all the ps button ,no response! . When put the USB cable in the controller too try too connect it a get a orange light that lasts for 1 sec then nothing happens.
I've tried too reset the controller ,unplugged the console. And then I got the same orange light lighting 2 times. Still no connect. Then I tried all the steps again. And I'm back too 1 orange lighting but don't connect.
What can I do ?

For anyone that is stuck,
Just get a keyboard to sign into the ps account then go to the Bluetooth option and connect. It worked for me so I just thought I would share that

Just buy a new controller. Open it up and swap guts. Then return the new one with the old guts in it. I do this all the time

⁠Mine was having the same issue as well. Controller only ever flashed yellow once and nothing else.
I fixed it now though somehow but going into SafeMode, having the controller connected and updated the console via Internet connection & it turned on.
Perhaps when the hard drive needs an update via SafeMode, it affects the controllers? I’m not sure but it’s now working for me. Hope this last resort helps someone. 👍🏻 Lmk if you had the same issue or if my controller was the worst in the industry lol

My controller is stupid won't turn on the ps5 I have to push button on the ps5 to turn on but then controller connect and works perfectly and when I put on sleep it usually don't charge I've tried all this I just bought a new controller I wanted 2 anyways so hopefully this one works better and other just be my guest controller
A month or 2 later both controllers occasionally still do this. haven't in probably few weeks think the last update might have fixed it hopefully
