Here is a good article on hepa filtering with box fans used by teachers: www.npr.org/sections/back-to-school-live-updates/2021/08/26/1031018250/does-your-kids-classroom-need-an-air-purifier-heres-how-you-can-make-one-yoursel?fbclid=IwAR2qi4kxIecld_skuDryMQBQB0t-N7W3wzmvjdWCR9ZicQWr1VORJm4XY14

The box fan filter is only good for 1 room. We have the same Dylos 1100 Pro and it goes down to about 150 or lower, even down to 10 for the small particles. The number on the left are the small particle count and it's the most important. So I would recommend one filter/fan for each room in the house and you can get down to excellent particle count. You can also put a MERV 13 from 3M into your HVAC and run that and that fan is much more powerful and will clean the whole house possibly, but check with a pro first since the MERVER 13 can make the motor work too hard in some HVAC systems, but it's worked fine in ours, but yours might be different. I hope this helps!

Yep, though if you have fans blowing the air throughout the house, the one fan/filter will still help some. If you do want full house coverage you need to put one in each room as the count would be higher for the further away from the filter you go into other rooms. We had 5 fan/filter combinations all over the house when the CA fires were bad the other year and it really helped.
