Thank you very much, was struggling to find a perfect bag and your video helped me with finding one and also install it the right way! Appreciate it. cheers!
Got it too last summer and tried it out on a long weekend trip already. Easy to fix and holds perfectly on the bike. Very recommendable. Nice video but not needed as the fixing is super simple. Common sense will be enough to handle it 😉.
Thanks man I appreciate it. Unfortunately we live in the new world (2021) where common sense isn’t that common 🤦🏻♂️. You’d be surprised how many dealerships didn’t even know about this!
Hello mate! Can you specify what kind or brand is that fur sherpa seat cover and where i can find it? I want to cover all the seat not a part of it Thanks
I just checked E Bay and it appears they no longer have them in the United States. I saw one listing from Australia. Reach out to your local dealer and see if they can locate one still in inventory somewhere
Makes sense so you can still get set off with bag on. But , me i prefer bag on tail rack- because i have trouble getting my leg over if bag is on seat...
Excellent! I’ve had the bag and the Scrambler for two years without knowing this… I noticed in one of the other comments your sheepskin is from Alaska Leathers. Which size/model is it? Looks like a nice add-on!
Hey, long as you get a good solid roll and cinch it down you won’t have any problems. Also make sure you roll it front to back. This way when your traveling at speeds water won’t build up.
It’s too high for my size unfortunately. The other day I tried the scrambler 1200 xe, I loved but not see clear how I will deal the heating of the exhaust on summer, here in Spain we have up 30 degrees. How was your experience ?
@@juanignaciocirera I had to do the Decat with the Zard exhaust. If I could do it over I would buy the Zard low exhaust and the heat would be gone completely
@@2wheelAdv Yes I saw, I thinking about it. I have a neck injury, I recently test-drove this bike at the dealer when I took my Speed Twin 900cc in for service. The riding position is much more comfortable for me than my current bike, one gear more, more power, better response, brakes, lights, suspension, overall, it is a better motorcycle. I'm not planning on doing any off-road riding right now, but I'm looking for a comfortable bike that I can take on long trips. The position is all for me, and the scrambler is a great option, but it's not as practical as a Honda Transalp or finally a GS. I look for daily use at city, short distances and weekends 300km outside range from my city with or without companion, do not plan for change each year the motorbike.
I saw on your blog that you had a Sargent seat added to your scrambler. I called them and emailed them but they said they don't fabricate them for the Scrambler 1200 yet. Do you have a poiint of contact?
I sent Sargent an email and they stated they don't have the guy that does that type of custom work anymore. I wanted to let you know in case anyone else reaches out about the seat. It looks great on your bike and you now know you have a custom seat no one else does! Thanks again.
@@gregac9142 oh wow, that’s a shame. They do great work. They still have it listed on their website so they should update that then. www.sargentcycle.com/Custom-Seat-Services/Overview/

Where did you find this bag? I have a 2019 Scrambler 1200XC and the only bag I can find is the single side-mount soft-sided 30L pannier, and Triumph wants $350 for it. Unless I can figure out what I have to start eating in order to poop money, that's too rich for my blood.
Paul Regner hey, I ordered this on EBay but you can check with Tampa Triumph or Triumph of Seattle. They can ship it directly to you. I think I paid $95 bucks.
Muy interesante el sistema de agarre de la bolsa. Queria preguntarte por la funda de asiento de oveja que tal funciona? Que modelo es? Saludos desde España
Had my bike for 15 months and never realised it had this feature! Thanks
Thank you 🙏 . I try to fill in the gaps from what the dealers miss. I’m glad you found this video!
Me too! Thanks!
Bought it. After much consternation with dealerships. Thanks for answering the question about the shammy in your replies.
You are the only one to show this. I loved it. Nice! Thanks
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it!

Mother of GOD. You've just blown my mind with those loops, now I've gotta incorporate that into the Port and Hide bags!
Haha 😆 , thanks 🙏
Awesome drone scene!!!
Thanks man, it was an epic spot!
Definitely looks clean. Pretty nice idea that they had to pre-install those loops and make them useable.
Unknown Overland absolutely, it’s always great when they design things that actually work!

I have the same bag for my Scrambler. The other straps are for mounting to the rack. Great bag at a surprisingly good price for a Triumph accessory.
Thanks, the price point was great and considering how well they built it into the seat straps I was impressed.
Thanks! for the upload.
Hey Np, thanks for commenting!
Great video! Can you tell me the Triumph part number for the dry bag?
Thanks, I’ve got no clue. Best bet is to look on eBay or contact your local dealer. I bought mine online for a nice discount.
Great vid! I cannot find this 30l dry bag anywhere! Any chance you can provide any addtl info on it?
Hey thanks! It’s the Triumph bag for the Scrambler. If your in the US reach out to Triumph of Seattle. They normally have a good stock of gear.
Hey. I'm looking at this exact bag for my 2022 scrambler 1200 but can't find the 30l bag only seeing 40l bag. Is this bag still available? Thank you

Didn’t know about this hooks! Thanks
Np man, glad you found the video!
Are the exhausts going to burn the bag?
Thanks for the video(s)!
Nope, not at all. It's well far away from the exhaust.
Did the straps come with the Triumph bag? Can’t seem to find any straps like that for sale anywhere?
Phil Regan yes those straps are included with the bag.
Hello, I found this bag used for my Scrambler 1200...I'm wondering after all your months of usage did you get any scratch from the loop on the seat?
Overtime you are going to show signs of wear. Same as the engine the first time you start it. What is means is you actually ride!
@@2wheelAdv it make perfect sense! 😂
Great in info thx. Where did you get the lambs wool seat pad btw
Hey thanks for the comment! I got the cover from Alaska leathers. Over 35k miles on it!
What is the lambs wool for? freshness? more cushion? please let me know, my seat is not very comfy .....
Super ! Merci pour cette vidéo ! Les sangles sont fourni avec le sac ? merci
Thank you, and yes the straps come with the purchase of the bag from Triumph.

the bag doesnt melt over the exhausts?

Awesome, I’m glad it helped! The seat is a medium and I believe the Adv model.
Excellent choix 😉👍
Merci pour cette vidéo!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks very great review and explanation!
Not a bag question,. Is that a harbor freight dolly? If so, do you recommend for the scrambler? Thanks in advance!
Hey, yeah Harbor freight special. Does the job just fine!
Good deal
Awesome review. Super useful. Thank you!
Great video. Thanks.
Appreciate it!
Hi ! Can you feet two full face helmet inside ?
Hi Matt, That I do not know. I think it would be a tight fit depending on what style helmet you have.
Have you had occasion to test how water proof it is?
Hey, long as you get a good solid roll and cinch it down you won’t have any problems. Also make sure you roll it front to back. This way when your traveling at speeds water won’t build up.
Do you still have your scrambler or did you changed for a BMW 1200 ?
