Netflix's portrayal of Griselda fell short of expectations. Expanding the series to 20 episodes across two seasons would have provided a more comprehensive exploration of her story. Additionally, involving both Michael and Billy as consultants would have enhanced the authenticity and accuracy of the series. Six episodes proved insufficient to fully capture the complexity of her life.

This series (with Billy and Michael) is simply amazing. I pre-ordered Michael’s book and when it arrived, I could not put it down. Our family moved to Miami Dade County in 1980, and we would experience the “insanity” that was Miami face to face, several times. The last encounter happened in a Burger King parking lot, and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. My Dad put in for a transfer (after his superiors heard what happened it was quickly approved) and out of Miami we went. This era will forever be part of my history.

Griselda, the dope game, cartels etc. Riveting stuff, but these aren't exactly the kinds of people most would root for. Keep in mind its based on true history with real figures. A few more episodes would've been nice( an even 10) so they wouldn't of had to rush the last sequence of events. But multiple seasons, this ain't Power. Wouldn't want to glorify Griselda Blanco.

It looked cartoonish and come to find out thats exactly what it was. Them making her overly sympathetic was wack too. Had her crying about the Castro killing. Rivi said when he told her about that kid getting killed she smiled. I believe him too. Because Rivi says he likes her even to this day so why make her look like shit for the fuck of it.

Knowing that this series was supposed to be 10 episodes makes ALOT more sense. Ok. Man I wish they would have let all 10 happen. Damn Netflix

En paz descanse tu familia Michael. We forget that this is not just a docu series, these were real lives that were lost. I can’t imagine what Michael has gone through to survive all this. He still feels threatened. Dios te cuide Michael.

As a huge CC documentary fan, I gotta say im loving the interview with Micheal. Would love to see a 'where are they now' or something with the original players from the orig CC doc. Also, would love to know what Michael thinks of Charles Cosby these days.

I believe I told you this story at one of your premieres but my father was in the Crown Liquors store a half hour before the shootings. He was in the mall walking around after it. I wasn't allowed to go to Dadeland for at least a year.

michael is a very strong person to have gone through all the trauma and not end up a drug addict to numb himself. people want to see him get some sort of big time hollywood production show to bless him with lots of cash to convey all of the stories properly. But I think it's a blessing that it doesnt happen for him because there are lot of family members of many victims out there watching and observing what he has to say about the astronomical bloodshed. I think he needs to go live his life with his wife and child and try to be low key as possible. It's insightful to make this so people understand what was public record but things need to finally just be left alone.

All I can say decent about the Netflix thing, is that Sofia Vegara is a good actress. Other than that, they missed wayyyy too much !

Billy I think you and Michael should do a doc on his mother because your better at telling the story. Would be interested on Michael's experience/opinion of Max mermelstien, John Roberts, Mickey Munday and Charles Cosby. And if he knows anything about the John delorean scandal that supposedly Max mermelstien was involved in. Thanks for the good videos
