Just watched that dreary looking series and giving it a 6 out of 10... a low budget '80's period drama' with horrible music, (did Sofia write the strange disco songs herself?) The old cars were fun to see but the 80's costumes were forgettable and the lack of flashy jewels was disappointing... especially for a woman with more money that she could ever spend in a lifetime, (rich women then were always be dripping in big diamonds, designer clothes and big furs.) And you have to laugh at the ridiculous ending, where she flees from her private estate with 'no money or jewels' and has to start over with nothing but a closet filled with bricks of cocaine, to try and sell later. That woman would have had truck loads of cash deposited into various bank accounts and hired people to handle/launder her cash secretly, in other states/countries. And we all know she would have had suitcases of jewels in her home, that she could use to 'start over' if needed. Soooo it was an informative story, and the acting was good enough, although the strange 'evil witch' make-up, (with Sofia wearing a fake pointed nose and pointed chin) was very distracting. For me, this series sadly lacked the vulgar flash and excess of the greedy 80's, especially for people from Columbia, that were famous for making an obnoxious display of their new money.
They made her a sweetheart for her to be a likeable character lol. They depicted her as a saint when she got to Miami. She literally committed her first murder at 11
LOL I know, trying to make her palatable and even sympathetic to the audience. This woman was never scared and never blinked an eye, even when her life was at stake.
Showing her getting gunned down would have been a more satisfying ending in my opinion. Griselda was a horrible person. You spend the final episodes hating her only to be denied seeing her get what she deserves. Mentioning her murder with text over a scene of her sitting on a peaceful beach is weak. The best thing about this story is the fact she was killed the same way she preferred to have her victims killed.
She literally got fked as a WHOLE child.. . PLUS no money and Ofc no family. WHAT Would you have done if you didn’t want to die in the streets as a child, A minor?
Yeah, I don't know what they were doing with all that. I didn't feel bad for her once and I was annoyed at the stupid scenes of her showing pain for anyone but herself. She didn't care about anyone. She kept saying she's doing it all for her sons but they just wanted vacations and fun. She could have taken her money and left for a peaceful life but she wanted so much more than she ever needed - people like her are so dangerous.
Cocaine cowboys 2 was better lol Charles Cosby on the run was priceless. Netflix just felt like girl boss bs to me by comparison. Let alone she's supposed be an old fat queenpin that could intimidate. Doubt the Pablo Escobar quote was true too about her being the only "man" to scare him.

I had a problem with them trying to make the audience feel bad for her in a lot of situations. According to a lot of docs I've watched she was a horrible person. The show was fine though. Sofia always kills it.
The acting was excellent. However, they tried too hard to make her sympathetic and remorseful when killing. In real life she was ruthless. They could have pulled it off the same way Tony Montana was portrayed.
I had no idea who Griselda Blanco was before I started watching the show on the weekend. It was so good, I binged it all in one day. Read up about her a lot straight after finishing it, and yeah, while the show's story is highly fictionalised, it was very well done and very engaging. I've not seen a single ep of "Narcos", and apparently "Griselda" was made by the same showrunners/writers. "Griselda" has made me want to start watching "Narcos". :)
She was portrayed as evil because she definitely was but I do believe she loved her sons. She like many people with power let it go to her head and her ego led her to become the Godmother. It's a well written show and I liked the parallels between her and June Hawkin's separate but similar journeys. Put some respect on June Hawkins name. She was the Mvp in the case to bring Griselda down. My favorite character was Dario. The one character who was authentically redeemed. From cold hearted assassin to a caring father for their youngest son.
I love gangster movies/shows but I feel like this glamorizes Griselda Blanco who was an evil person and not sympathetic at all. She was not some feminist icon or a victim she was a monster. She had many innocent people and even children murdered. Even Tony Montana refused to do that…
Actually Blanco's pretty horrible in this. About halfway thru the series you should be praying for her comeuppance. There's a certain magnetism to her or else she wouldn't have accomplished all that she did or gotten as many people to stand by her.
I added Griselda to my watch list, but haven't seen it yet. Until I watched this video, I had no idea that was Sofia Vergara!!! Love that she has an opportunity to show her true acting ability and not just be the eye candy that most other directors want her to be.
I'd seen it in mine as well and couldn't be bothered. I also don't watch anything with subtitles. I watch movies. I don't read them. But I saw an interview Sofia did with Kelly Clarkson and was blown away, I didn't even realize the woman on the promo shot was her. I knew she was in it but they did a really great job making her look completely different. It's absolutely Lay's Bingeworthy for sure, a great story and drama...with liberties and a bittersweet ending. Give it 5 stars for all of that and zero for the psychopathic monster it was based on lol
I was good but if your familiar with the truth from several documentaries all the changes are gonna really throw you off. He skips several other changes like the hit at the home where they killed the parents and left the baby in the crib is totally different in real life and way worse because she wanted the kids dead too. Rivi is completely different! Rivi was from chicago had a mustache and black hair, he met her because he accidentally botched a hit. She planned to shoot up a club and kill 6 people but only 2 people were the targets. She made him find the targets or else. He found one and she had the guy killed, cut up, put in a box and dumped on the way to Rivi's house like it was nothing. It's very good Sofia Vagara is excellent but it's very very inaccurate n it makes Griselda a sympathetic figure that she's completely not. The motorcycle driveby is something she started, i could keep going
I think I’ll watch the documentary and read up on the real story first. I enjoyed both Narcos series but I agree with you that these can make the criminals too sympathetic. I know many people have reasons for why they became the way they are, and it’s important to understand that so we can address those social ills that become breeding grounds for evil. But ultimately not everyone who has experienced the horrors or deprivations some of these criminals did ends up living this type of life. I wish there were more attention given to how these people ruined and destroyed everything in their wake so it can be a cautionary tale. As it stands too often they’re painted as anti-heroes or even bad-ass survivors, someone to emulate.
The glorification and idolization of killers, drug kingpins, and other people who did terrible things to their fellow men, will never cease to amaze me.
Dont feel like the netflix show Griselda really captured how dangerous she was felt like they payed homage to her trying to do her story in the most respectful way they could even down to letting such a beautiful women play her like Sofia
Agree. I wish they had fleshed out June's and Uber's characters. I only thought about Gloria Pritchett for about 30 seconds my whole watch, so impressed with Sofia.
As someone who has been a fan of Sofia ever since chasing papi seeing her in this role warmed my heart.. I am so glad to finally see her and something this big.. I am so proud.
Sofia acted well but she looks nothing like Griselda even with prosthetics she was still too hot to be Griselda ☠️. They needed to make her put on like 50 lbs for this.
Griselda Blanco was good looking and skinny in her younger years. The only videos you have seen of the real Griselda are when she was already heavy weight in her latter years.
It’s annoying when they produce shows about a person or event and they don’t follow the actual facts. In real life Griselda was much more brutal and chaotic. There was no need to fluff her character in the show, the original story was much more interesting in my opinion.
Welcome to Hollywood. Where attractive actors play bad guys, so it doesn’t seem like it was that bad. Leo played Jordan Belfort who stole 110 million. Johnny Depp played Boston George. Hollywood is a trip
I love this show cause it comes on immediately! It Aint no long dumb intro music or showing and talking about what happened in previous episodes I wish every TV series was like this!
Netflix has an amazing way of always turning any villain, especially who is a woman, into some sort of oppressed woman who is driven to show herself for the girl boss she had inside. Such bullshit.
Yeah i. Watching now. I love how they acted like she wasn't a killer since age 11. And this sidestory of the cops snd translater has feminist agenda written all over it
@@jetla22 Yeah, they played with that story. She never had to prove herself to no dealers in Miami, she was a dealer since the late 60's to early 70's in New York, in the drug business before all of them. They came to her when they wanted to enter the American market.
I'm a Sophia Vergara Stan. I mean I love love her. That being said, her being casted as Griselda Blanco is the worst casting decision since Tom Cruise was casted as Reacher. The real griselda was a 5 foot unassuming lady who you were certain to overlook. Vergara on the other had is an average size gorgeous women that would make any hetero male do a double take. Don't even get me started on the skin darkening and the prosthetics used to make Vergara less attractive. It was literally blackface. Her acting was on point, but there are so many actresses that would have been a better fit. Anyway. That's my $0.02...
People go way too far with these creative liberties. It's like as soon as you buy the rights to somebody's life,You just take their names and write your own story.
Yeah they took it too far. And put too much of a feminist spin on it. This woman was already feared before she got to the states. Wasn't nobody disrespecting her outside of her enemies
@@jetla22 Right?!! and by age eleven she had already killed somebody!.. a little boy that she held for ransom. They made her seem alot softer than she actually was.
I’m from Miami so I’ve always known of Griselda, mostly from my own Mother. She dated a guy who knew her well, likely worked for her. Wild stories. I’m so glad her son Michael lives on to tell her story, while building his own ❤❤❤❤
To be candid, June was not in the limelight in this case, she was not even on the case. Bob Palombo was the main officer that tracked her down for 10 years
I remember watching Griselda’s story on ID channel’s Deadly Women. I love the Netflix series about her. I was afraid that Sofia Vargas was not the right person but she did a fantastic job.
I new the back story from cocaine cowboys and documentaries and I still was able to get past it not being 100 percent accurate I watched it all in one sitting the night it came out
I thought the show sucked, didn’t make her come across as psycho as she was… to fast paced to much made up stuff.. cocaine cowboys gives you a much better telling of her story..
Why is it so hard to get an actress that actually looks like the late Griselda Blanco. It is not hard to find Colombian women with indigenous features. I am pretty sure you can find a decent actor that looks like the actual person. Why not tell the whole story and not try to romanticize or send some feministic woke empowering message. Griselda Blanco was a savage butcher there is nothing to romanticize, her actual life story is much more interesting than this Netflix portrayal.
They did the same thing to Casino, softened up the main character so he was more likable; and left out the incidents of spousal abuse and how he was only really good a gambling. Where he was really a domineering abusive husband and control freak that most of the staff ignored. Or that there was a lot of evidence that he went to the Feds first.
Casino was a typical Hollywood movie, nothing like the book by Nicholas Pileggi. They changed his last name & never even mentioned his son...take something w a grain of salt
I thoroughly enjoyed the series, and Sofia's performance left me truly amazed. If I may offer a small note, perhaps unsolicited, for consideration: enhancing clarity and enunciation as the narrator would elevate the viewing experience even more.
The show was good, she was excellent, and I decided to wait to see what ACTUALLY happened in real life so as to not hear any spoilers. But after seeing how horrible she really was, I agree, there was an angle to the show aiming to make one sympathize with her, almost feminist, and I think that was a mistake. I would've liked to have seen her shot in the head just like Dario was. She was a piece of crap, and no amount of justifying what made her enter into this life can be rationalized. At the end of the day, both men and women go through hard crap, and I didn't see this attempt at empathizing with someone like, oh, Jeffrey Dahmer for instance. So after learning about the actual facts, I thought Sofia's performance was very "woe is me," when it seems like the real Griselda was a straight up cold-hearted biotch.
I was hopeful that this series would be good, but in my opinion ended up being more political/social preaching from Netflix. (This time, "girl power" and "men are buffoons")
Just finished binging it and really enjoyed it as far as dramas go but it was far, far too glamorized and fluffed up to make her more sympathetic. In reality she was a psychopathic murderer and her kids, while unfortunately victims of an epic failure of parenting, were just as messed up. The surviving boy, Michael, is also messed up but at least seemed to separate himself from it best he's able. All parties involved being off the face of the earth now is nothing but a good thing.
I see you made a comment about the views going down. For me, it was you doing reviews on old movies that I didn’t care about and you’re not watching shows that I care about except Rick and Morty and the latest Griselda. You also don’t show up on my feed anymore.
You always recommend quality stuff for me to checkout, and mate I do appreciate! Recently watched the show Silo-apple I believe and based off a series. Could be a fun video!
Man this shyt was ok first of all they didn’t show enough of her life thru out the show .like how she first got rich in ny, her shoot out with her first husband over the business . They don’t show her coming up from being a working girl . Didn’t show her handling business in jail and linking up with Charles . Like damn someone needs to redo this show. They could have had a couple more seasons like narcos at least 3 . It was cool but had way more potential in my opinion.
It was an excellent show. It should be pointed out that she did not flee Miami for California, but to Chicago. I think why they did not use NYC and use Chicago instead of Miami was to save cost and film all the scenes in California (beside the ocean).
I’ve seen a million different docs on Griselda Blanco. What makes me not want to watch the Netflix one is the fact they got Sophia Vegara to play a woman who looks like the lady who killed Selena. Credibility immediately lost lol
Really disappointed they didn't show her early life. It was violent and tragic and for me is the most interesting part of her story. Beginning her story with the killing of Alberto left out so much of the motivation and ruthlessness she had derived from that harsh early life
I really enjoyed the series but man it moved fast! They were definitely speed running this. I'm glad it didn't drag on for multiple seasons but the pacing at times seemed off.
Yep, it seemed like everything happened at the party but when I started looking at other documentaries that's not exactly how things happened. The sequencing was off on this Netflix depiction.
Was sort of interested in this, then hearing you be like, "That didn't happen - that was fiction - that was added for drama," I'm like, "nah, I'm good." Thank you for saving me time!
Yeah, this is hardly a documentary. It’s more along the lines of Hollywood biopics like the one about Freddy Mercury. It’s the sort of thing one hopes will inspire people to look into the real life stories. But for people who prefer the real deal, it’s better if they just go to the documentary and skip the fictional account. I ended up enjoying both Narcos series but I think for this one I’ll do the real story first before I looked into the fictional version.
I guess if rotten tomatoes are saying it’s good it must be then yeah ? Wrong it’s rushed and nothing like the real Griselda and pretty much all the other characters !
I watched a few sm movies to get the real story because I wanted to know what she was like. She was an unrepentant killer who made Miami the murder capital it was, and didn't care. They left out how the coroner had to rent frozen trucks to hold the bodies, how she pioneered the motorcycle hit, and played down how dangerous it was to be there I'm also mad they didn't show Crosby from Cocaine Cowboys 2. They left so much out that this ended up feeling hollow and just... why? They had so much material to use and they softened her up so much it felt like I was waiting to see the gritty and darker parts of it I can't recommend the series, it's an awful let down when you know the source material
I pass, would rather watch a documentary with footage and the gruesome deaths she's guilty of. Know how she actually looks I can't accept Sophia playing the part
Everybody who thinks the ending should have shown her being shot are missing the point, the shot of her at the end isn’t peaceful, it shows her a woman who lost everything, her children, her humanity, everything to be left for nothing. She had nothing to live for. The emptiness in the final shot was very satisfying, a fabulous show
I Loved Katherine Zeta-Jones and Sofia Vagara Both Performances were Amazing ???? I had heard a year ago Jlo was supposed Perform as Griselda too but to this day that never Happened?
Watched every episode. They strayed too far from actual events for me. Rivi's origins were way off as was Dario's death. Also the John Roberts thing. In real life, he had a huge part in the events. Here he's portrayed as a clown that she pushes around or ignores completely. Also, I couldn't get past the lousy prosthetics on Sofia. Her nose was too distracting.
The show was ok it was bad it was just I watched a lot of documentaries on Griselda and I can tell you the show is not 100% accurate and I do feel like the documentaries about her are better than the show
I didn’t like it because the story was not written the way it actually was in real life . They tried very hard to make Griselda look like some punk for the most part too which wasn’t true at all. Sofia tried her best to act but all the crying and emotional scenes were not who Griselda was . There’s absolutely no room for that in the coke dealer world.
Sofia's reenactment doesn't convince me how truly evil Griselda was ... she was a blood thirsty tyrant who had her husbands killed & took out any competition. Karma's a bitch & she got hers in the end 🤔
I don’t like how they fast forwarded the ending… they could’ve had 1 last episode. How she fell in love with a black man while in prison and hooked him up with a lot of drugs and they could’ve showed the scene when she died

Yep. To know her story, I didn’t care for the series but not to take away from Sophia’s acting.
Don’t forget, he was a stepdad to Michael Corleon too
Sofia was beyond measure excellent.
6 episodes was far too short.
Agree. I wish they had fleshed out June's and Uber's characters. I only thought about Gloria Pritchett for about 30 seconds my whole watch, so impressed with Sofia.
She didnt get naked, with those milkers its what i wanted to see. Im left slightly disapointed.
As someone who has been a fan of Sofia ever since chasing papi seeing her in this role warmed my heart.. I am so glad to finally see her and something this big.. I am so proud.
I really hate that this show was not treated the same as Narcos. It was a HUGE miss for Netflix and a rip off of Sophia Vargara.
Yeaaa I didn't necessarily appreciate the dropping in point. They started when she was like 30 years old..
Sofia acted well but she looks nothing like Griselda even with prosthetics she was still too hot to be Griselda ☠️. They needed to make her put on like 50 lbs for this.
I totally agree… I couldn’t get into it. She looked nothing like her😮
That was so wack of Netflix. Made her a sex symbol
Griselda Blanco was good looking and skinny in her younger years. The only videos you have seen of the real Griselda are when she was already heavy weight in her latter years.
@@mos.hijinks actually the Griselda film starring Catherine Zeta Jones was far more realistic than Vegara's netflix series.
It’s annoying when they produce shows about a person or event and they don’t follow the actual facts. In real life Griselda was much more brutal and chaotic. There was no need to fluff her character in the show, the original story was much more interesting in my opinion.
Facts ! I’d rather watch Cocaine Cowboys 1 and 2 again
Welcome to Hollywood. Where attractive actors play bad guys, so it doesn’t seem like it was that bad. Leo played Jordan Belfort who stole 110 million. Johnny Depp played Boston George. Hollywood is a trip
Exactly!! That's why I really didn't like this Netflix version....
❤
@Ishbikes
At least Johnny Depp in Black Mass & Public Enemy was more real then this shit show
I love this show cause it comes on immediately! It Aint no long dumb intro music or showing and talking about what happened in previous episodes I wish every TV series was like this!
@Phantom-ina-Phantom thank you
Netflix has an amazing way of always turning any villain, especially who is a woman, into some sort of oppressed woman who is driven to show herself for the girl boss she had inside. Such bullshit.
Yeah i. Watching now. I love how they acted like she wasn't a killer since age 11. And this sidestory of the cops snd translater has feminist agenda written all over it
The thing is that Rafa and Griselda were friends from Columbia and not enemies. And Rivi never worked for no one other then Griselda.
No wonder the family sued
Totally agree...and I LOL cuz I hated Tom as Reacher. I've read tons of Reacher books & was pissed that Tom was playing that part
@@lijo4518 You get it!😉
Rosie O'Donell would have made a good Griselda.
@alienlatino2945 In 1982 maybe. Whitewashing was more socially accepted back then.😂
We will always support you. Keep working hard no matter what.
Great work, didn’t know it was that close to the real life true events..
Keep slaying lads 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers mate
People go way too far with these creative liberties. It's like as soon as you buy the rights to somebody's life,You just take their names and write your own story.
Yeah they took it too far. And put too much of a feminist spin on it. This woman was already feared before she got to the states. Wasn't nobody disrespecting her outside of her enemies
@@jetla22 Right?!! and by age eleven she had already killed somebody!.. a little boy that she held for ransom. They made her seem alot softer than she actually was.
Finally she gets a role where she can show that she CAN act!! She was great!
I’m from Miami so I’ve always known of Griselda, mostly from my own Mother. She dated a guy who knew her well, likely worked for her. Wild stories. I’m so glad her son Michael lives on to tell her story, while building his own ❤❤❤❤
I understand. This wasn't a bio pic. But dang, they really made her too emotional, and the makeup was horrible.
I new the back story from cocaine cowboys and documentaries and I still was able to get past it not being 100 percent accurate I watched it all in one sitting the night it came out
Griselda show was damn good 🔥🔥🔥
I thought the show sucked, didn’t make her come across as psycho as she was… to fast paced to much made up stuff.. cocaine cowboys gives you a much better telling of her story..
Thank God TH-cam has Closed Captions 🙂
Just finished this show yesterday and it was a banger!
I loves me some Sophia but this is a straight Netflix show being Netflix unfortunately. Want a great watch check out Cocaine Cowboys 2.
1 & 2 would be my recommendation
@@hymanroth560 definitely can't leave out the 1st it's just the 2nd was mostly about Griselda .
What is it on ?
@TheMarmboy I've got them on DVD but as far as I know "Tubi"
I remember when she was killed. Everyone thought: this sicarios killed an old lady for no reason. No one knew who she used to be.
Watch cocaine cowboys 2 they left out so much stuff smh
Netflix 100% Is NOT going to glorify a Black man that successfully made in and out of the drug trade. They left that aaaaalll the way out…
Thanks Heavy spoilers for this very informative
Much appreciated
So mad that her story got so watered down! If Escobar got 2 seasons, Griselda Blanco needs 3.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series, and Sofia's performance left me truly amazed. If I may offer a small note, perhaps unsolicited, for consideration: enhancing clarity and enunciation as the narrator would elevate the viewing experience even more.
Watch La Vuida Negra. It’s in Spanish but it goes deeper about her story since her early teens
Where can we watch it
@@estherfrancois7270 TH-cam has full episodes. If not, check free online movies
@@estherfrancois7270it's here on TH-cam. It's about 75-80 chapters.
Yes I like that version better.
Very informative comparison between real life and Netflix's story of this woman. Sofia did a great job as Griselda.
I was hopeful that this series would be good, but in my opinion ended up being more political/social preaching from Netflix. (This time, "girl power" and "men are buffoons")
Havent watch it yet, is Charles Cosby featured in this series? He was her only lover she did not kill
Nope, he's not even mentioned...
@@tinamathews7139 interesting
Nice analysis...t hanks
Just finished binging it and really enjoyed it as far as dramas go but it was far, far too glamorized and fluffed up to make her more sympathetic. In reality she was a psychopathic murderer and her kids, while unfortunately victims of an epic failure of parenting, were just as messed up. The surviving boy, Michael, is also messed up but at least seemed to separate himself from it best he's able.
All parties involved being off the face of the earth now is nothing but a good thing.
I miss watching your videos! The last time I watched one of your videos was when you were doing the Last of Us reviews! Good times!
I wasn’t going to watch it after seeing documentaries but now I must lol
I see you made a comment about the views going down. For me, it was you doing reviews on old movies that I didn’t care about and you’re not watching shows that I care about except Rick and Morty and the latest Griselda. You also don’t show up on my feed anymore.
You always recommend quality stuff for me to checkout, and mate I do appreciate! Recently watched the show Silo-apple I believe and based off a series. Could be a fun video!
yeah such a good series, I kinda missed the boat on it a bit but it's great
Man this shyt was ok first of all they didn’t show enough of her life thru out the show .like how she first got rich in ny, her shoot out with her first husband over the business .
It was such a great show! Sophia needs to do more movies like that
I’ve seen a million different docs on Griselda Blanco. What makes me not want to watch the Netflix one is the fact they got Sophia Vegara to play a woman who looks like the lady who killed Selena. Credibility immediately lost lol
Really disappointed they didn't show her early life. It was violent and tragic and for me is the most interesting part of her story. Beginning her story with the killing of Alberto left out so much of the motivation and ruthlessness she had derived from that harsh early life
I loved Thx for the video I wonder about a few things. So as always thank you for your videos !!!
Love you Paul!!
Cheers mate and thank you for the membership
I think Catherine played Griselda the best😊
I really enjoyed the series but man it moved fast! They were definitely speed running this. I'm glad it didn't drag on for multiple seasons but the pacing at times seemed off.
Show was good but episode 5 went too crazy it’s like 4 episodes of build up to watch her ruin everything in one party was ridiculous.
Yep, it seemed like everything happened at the party but when I started looking at other documentaries that's not exactly how things happened. The sequencing was off on this Netflix depiction.
Great show and great summary
You want the real story, watch cocaine cowboys. It’s brutal, it’s honest..
Awesome, I appreciate the recommendation @@Ishbikes !
The series is still good.
They left out how the coroner had to rent frozen trucks to hold the bodies, how she pioneered the motorcycle hit, and played down how dangerous it was to be there
I'm also mad they didn't show Crosby from Cocaine Cowboys 2. They left so much out that this ended up feeling hollow and just... why? They had so much material to use and they softened her up so much it felt like I was waiting to see the gritty and darker parts of it
I can't recommend the series, it's an awful let down when you know the source material
2 actors from Narcos are in this
1. The Colombian boss who her future husband killed , and her husband
Get the right people to do her story right. Its a lot...
I guess they had to skip over so much to make 6 episodes work. But it was still good and thanks for clearing so much up.
Did you ever do a breakdown for narcos season one with Pablo Escobar. I don’t see it but I do see season 2
I’m pretty sure I did but I vaguely remember we had copyright issues with Netflix
I pass, would rather watch a documentary with footage and the gruesome deaths she's guilty of. Know how she actually looks I can't accept Sophia playing the part
Absolutely agree 💯‼️
They humanized her way too much. This lady was the face of evil.
Not gonna lie, Sofía Vergara did her big one on this movie! I wasn’t expecting it because of her comedy background but she was great..,,
Damn so they left out that cat Charles she was dealing with in Oakland while she was in prison??
Yep
for those of you who haven't seen it you should watch Cocaine cowboys too. The Doc aligns with the show.
Netflix?
No it doesn't. C'mon man. Not even close
ost sounds like a perfect combination between Narcos and Scarface
Song had to be 'Gloria'😮
Watched every episode. They strayed too far from actual events for me. Rivi's origins were way off as was Dario's death. Also the John Roberts thing. In real life, he had a huge part in the events. Here he's portrayed as a clown that she pushes around or ignores completely. Also, I couldn't get past the lousy prosthetics on Sofia. Her nose was too distracting.
I hated that we never got to see Griselda's death. They were so hellbent on making her sympathetic I felt cheated by a title explaining it
Don't get the protein pancakes at IHOP. I shit my pants in the car on the drive home.
Thanks Paul.
Katherine Zeda Jones did a Lifetime movie. I wonder how accurate it was and which you think was better?
Thank God for Westside Gunn , Benny and Conway for creating traction on her and now Netflix has one on her
The show was ok it was bad it was just I watched a lot of documentaries on Griselda and I can tell you the show is not 100% accurate and I do feel like the documentaries about her are better than the show
Griselda was a bad B!! She was an absolute BEAST!!
There we go again, gloryifying people that destroy our community.
@@77Creationshut up . Who do you want to glorify? Sleeepy joe?
How to say you don’t know who Griselda was without saying it. 😂
She was a ruthless murderer.
@@heatchamps2011 FINISH him!!!!
There's a part 2 for "Cocaine Cowboys"
I don’t like how they fast forwarded the ending… they could’ve had 1 last episode. How she fell in love with a black man while in prison and hooked him up with a lot of drugs and they could’ve showed the scene when she died
Where did the female cop come from? I've never heard of or about her in all the stories that are out there about Griselda.
Catherine zeta jones killed it
I liked the series, but one thing is I thought it started out a bit slow and felt a bit rushed towards the end. I dunno, maybe that's just me.
