Nobody asked for my opinion but here we go. This was my first zero turn mower ever and have to say it's a caddylack across my Baja 3acre yard I mow almost every week and I might add this yard is country as elf/rough. I don't even have to think about another brand when they've cornered the market with the suspension. Show any and all that wanna test drive it our here they are all surprised by the ride this this gives you. I highly recommend getting one. Also I might add but not sure who all or how long they been doing this but I've hit some pretty massive obstacles with the blades and so far all I have had to replace was the bolts that run through the pullys on top of the deck. They shear off first bolt cost $5 deck spindle??? Idk. $30-$100. There is nothing with splines or keyways so the bolt on top is the weak point thank goodness. I'm hooked no need to even bother at this point to search for other brands the ferris is a keeper.
Got mine this summer. Love mowing my yard. Only problem I have had...I backed up and got a half in thick stick stuck under the deck belt. My fault. Great mower.
Key question - is the 500S 46" worth the extra cost over the 300S 46" with full suspension? Trying to make that decision and buying one or the other this week! Thank you.
