That's what I wish for War Thunder!! Loud engine sounds, big maps, many objectives, a lot of players, full combined forces, less markers (or much more closer distance for spotting, making players really look for enemy planes and stop the currently "who climbs higher win/climb to space" meta), rewarding players more for the objectives(like escort ships/planes, extract or deploy troops) than actual combat (which will be inevitable), historical camoflages. A little bit more hardcore, serious and realistc game in third person camera
Yeah, imagine the same with normandy, the siege of leningrad or even more battles. You could deviate from history a little by making the Luftwaffe present at Normany for example, to balance everything a bit more.

19:40 sums up this magnificent ode to a sharp edged point in our time. This 34:42 minutes of video was stunning, thank you all for the extraordinary presentation I just watched. The Hurricane scenes were terrific, you don't just come for the Spitfires so capably represented here. To the creators of this custom battle well done! To the people that played it.... awesome job in executing the mission this well! Thank you for sharing this... it was pure joy to watch.
They actually had a form of this in Naval beta...they fucked it up then when people asked for it back they brought back the idea forced their pt boat fetish and blocked destroyers from participating. Now we just have stationary cargo ships but they used to move perpendicularly to the map and had to be defended.

NVM it's a sounds mod coming out for patrons
Actually they recently updated the sound engine like 1 or 2 month ago so it sounds perfect... Like that perfect leaf in the fall
Yes, they did. Also, the Jericho Trunpets are audible to other players now!
Phly this was amazing. I had to comment! Please do this more often. This was so realistic and great to watch. So good that I watched the whole ads for you lol. Do more air battles and realistic reenactments. Thank you!
Same! Pay that man his money!
Best gaming vid ive seen in a long time!!
19:40 sums up this magnificent ode to a sharp edged point in our time. This 34:42 minutes of video was stunning, thank you all for the extraordinary presentation I just watched. The Hurricane scenes were terrific, you don't just come for the Spitfires so capably represented here. And the Navy contribution was nothing short of terrific, it was heart stopping watching you all engaging the "leakers" as they made their attack runs. I cheered when that 110 wing came off as it flew down the column. Cheers, y'all, this was fucking epic.
engine sounds and flight maneuvers gave me goosebumps several times, thanks for this video
Rabbit Leader here. Glad our Hurricanes could help clear the skies, keep our fleet safe
Good shit with your Hurries Rabbit Actual, thank you for your service o7
Subspacer this is tomato 2 green leader, I officially hate rabbit. Eagle 1 wasn’t that strong to kill you all
The sad part is that gaijin is so incompetent that they'll never make something like this
To the creators of this custom battle well done! To the people that played it.... awesome job in executing the mission this well! Thank you for sharing this... it was pure joy to watch.
This was absolutely spectacular. Phly if you read this, pls make more ❤️
"What do you see?"
Commander Bolton:"Home"
this is how war thunder should be, ship convoy gamemode with air plane fight
Hunterhawks how would it work with jets?
@@randonlando418 i dont really see the issue youre probably seeing
Then we see multiple pe 8 flying @7km dropping 5 ton nukes
danczehajek jets are too fast, and they can just drop bombs and GTFO quickly.
They actually had a form of this in Naval beta...they fucked it up then when people asked for it back they brought back the idea forced their pt boat fetish and blocked destroyers from participating. Now we just have stationary cargo ships but they used to move perpendicularly to the map and had to be defended.
Dude Phly those 3 spitfires made me get chills that was such a good feeling
Top 10 Last Words:
"Oh I just Got Strafed by a 109"
You've convinced me that there's more to war thunder than just grinding new vehicles. Thank you, phly
well said bro
You were right... The MOST INTENSE battle I've watched in a long time. Thanks for taking the time to edit this awesome video. REALLY GREAT JOB!!
I'm French and I leave in Dunkerque, Dunkirk and I can said, it's like the movie, "Engine merlin, there is no better melody in the world "
*[HISTORICAL FOOTAGE] The Battle Of Dunkirk 1940, COLORIZED*
I've been watching your War Thunder videos for about a month now. I really enjoy your content and how easy you make the game seem. That being said. This video is a work of art. I'd like to say thank you to all who participated! Also, I don't necessarily press the like button on every video generally speaking. This video gets a like, and you now have another subscriber! Keep up the great work!
That 109 was amazing when followed him!
Quite possibly the most I've ever been immersed with War Thunder. GJ guys

In the movie. But the timeframes in this game were much shorter. So they are all around an hour or less.
That was awesome! And that death at 26:50...
Can't wait for Midway cut =)
This is some next level shit.. respect to everyone who worked on this, you did great job! :O :D
Love you phly! I've been subbed to this channel for sooooo long thanks for all the amazing videos!!!
Couldn't have said it any better ;D
Ikr
Phly got me into WoWS and then War Thunder years ago.....thanks!
9:10 is so good lmao. I love how they all point towards the Spitfire but stop firing before being told to engage the 109. It must be so cool to fly by and have the fleet attacking the bogey on your six and helping you out.
Parents: gaming is an addiction, stop playing or else!
*me watching the real history channel*
me: But..mom, Im studying so I can pass my history exam
Now THATS what i call quality content! That was awesome...
Thank you all for doing this. Every historical event vid Ive seen so far has bin better than most movies. I am entertained.
And this is how you fix naval battles. Having battles and gamemodes that resemble real world events, and have that cinematic feel to it.
This is amazing. More community groups need to do missions like this. Big discords and big battles. Its what War Thunder SHOULD be. Would love to be part of something similar in the future.
Finally, a title that wasn't click bait.
10/10 congrats to webe on the edditing miss ur videos man. You guys should do this more often this is what war thunder should be not mindless grind
