Just got recommended this video (prob because jiggs is one of my mains) and I have to say it is criminal how small your channel is with videos of this quality. Already liked and subbed, and I’m exited to keep watching your videos in the future
There's a lot you can learn from Puff, but I think it is a good lesson overall. And in my opinion, Senra is the better puff to learn from with how he plays footsies and ideas, and consistently gets to last game with acola and beating him once and of course other top Japanese players. One thing I enjoyed looking at your clips are semi combos, which is totally fine if someone is not comfortable against puff. There was no tech, but that's fine, understanding edge guard flow chart is a valuable lesson. I was also expecting something about dair, since it is her best move. There's a lot that goes into understanding dair, but something cool to learn is that because it is a multi hit and her air acceleration is amazing, it is, -13 on shield, but the mix ups on landing, the distance away from the opponent, and parry hunters can't get a one hit parry from pound or fair, unexperienced players can't exactly beat it, unless your oos is very fast and covers both sides(GnW). Another note im sorry about, Bayo and Hero are not the best matchups for puff, in fact Bayo is one of her worst matchups, so you kinda got unlucky there. : /
While I could talk about specific moves my goal with this series is to provide tips and advice that are universal amongst the cast. This is partially to help me since I'm moving on from character to character but I also think it benefits people who aren't playing my character of the week. Down-air is an excellent move and while I don't have many clips of me using it, it was definitely an important move in my toolkit. And yeah I did get unlucky getting paired against Bayo haha. The Hero game was totally winnable though.
Nice video! This will help me improve my skills! Does the covering options flowchart apply to other characters, too, or is this particular one just for Puff?
It can apply to any character. As long as you can think of what your character can do in response to an opponent you can create a flowchart for that situation.
To be honest its a nice video, but i would like to talk about the things about puff competitive history. In smash 64 puff also did really well and i think i one a major and is i think mid to high tier. Melee is overall correct. For brawl i understand why you would use the old tier list but i think using the new tier list would be better. On that list puff was bottom 5 or 6. And for smash 4 i found on the wiki something that says puff was one of the worst character, but not the absolute worse. And ulimate makes sense. But it was a really good video explaining puff!
I really needed that edge guard flow chart advice cuz' I really have trouble edge guarding low recoveries more than high recoveries. I'm pretty bad at 2 framing and so stuff like tethers or teleports really get me.
@@benJAMMIN634 Mostly Lucas & Bayo when I'm not suffering through my own character crisis or just going random. Got plenty of clips on my channel of me playing a bunch of characters. (not tryna self promote)
He's definitely a character I struggle with currently but I'm a big fan of Ryu. I'm looking forward to learning more about his combo game sometime in the future!
Idgaf about ult, but always know that, if you are a flowchart heavy player you will be exposed by the players who recognize that and you will see you’ve just been playing robotically
This is definitely true. Flowcharts are a tool but they can put you in predictable patterns that can be exploited. Flowcharts can optimize your gameplay as long as you remain predictable.
I was having a bath when it premiered and now my cat is hugging me

Thank you that means a lot to me! What characters are you looking forward to the most?
My joker flowchart:
1. Get arsene
2. Don't not use arsene

Little mac flow chart
F smash
(Did it hit?)
No: f smash again
Yes: f smash again
Now that's the cerebral kind of gameplay I expect from a Little Mac main.

Pound on ledge or just ledgtrapping is my go-to
@@benJAMMIN634 I meant with any character. I don't use Puff.
@@theshadowspider97 oh, who do you play?

Buen video bro, no entiendo nada el ingles, pero me quedo por la edición
Gracias para mirar mi video :)
Great video as usual but is your mic slightly ahead of your gameplay? I noticed at 4:21
Yes, unfortunately that is an issue I have been struggling with. I haven't figured out how to resolve the issue yet either.
the wait for this video was worth it love me some puff
Sorry it took so long! My computer dying combined with me hosting the tournament delayed it a lot but I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Eventually he's gonna find the perfect character and the series will just abruptly end
Once it gets to 86 anything is possible
Rip your computer. This video is dedicated to it.
It was just the motherboard and not the whole computer fortunately
Yoshi: nair
Haha yeah thats Hero for you, one good gamechanging crit
you should play ken next! he's really unique and can do a lot in the right hands
He's definitely a character I struggle with currently but I'm a big fan of Ryu. I'm looking forward to learning more about his combo game sometime in the future!
I gotta know if you died for resting that Gannon in the first clip of the comp
I was totally fine, I actually kind of clipped him again right after that lol
0:23 😭
Everyone is noticing it lol

What about King K. Rool? My main since I got smash ultimate in my hands
He's shown up on my polls once or twice. Looking forward to when I get the chance to play him!
Yo fellow krool main, hoping he gets chosen soon.
As a fellow king k rool main, I highly suggest trying him. He is very fun and tanky
