I used to love and adore Undertale. All the way back in 2015-2018 were my best (and worst) years of my life, Gacha Videos and Animation memes were the best, back then no one had to worry about Covid, no one had to worry about rising inflation, no one worried about getting your kids to school safe from sickos (it happened but not as bad). 2015-2018 were good fucking years and i miss them.

Every song just makes my soul feel good and you can tell the hard work and energy that went into this soundtrack and the amazing game that came along with it. My older brother played the guitar as a young 14 year old, and while he didn't practice much, every now and then i would sneak in front of his shut door and listen. One day, after I had watched him beat Undertale, I heard him play this entire song. I played along with my Ocarina, and he heard me. Usualy he'd kick me, but not today. For 25 minutes, we sat next to each other, fluking and not careing. By the time we were done, we had realised the entire family watched through the door way. But we didn't care. i never forgot this moment.

You’re probably right... kinda sad how all these characters aren’t really real even in that universe, since it’s just a story.
I get the point, and I hate to be "that guy" but it was Chara who fell into the mountain in the opening, not Frisk.

I remember every twist of undertale up to this day. Unfortunately Undertale is not immortal, as much as i would like it to be. It will eventually be forgotten, as well as all legendary games this day... Minecraft will slowly fade away through the years. Toby fox will eventually die of old age and Undertale / Deltarune will be gone... Their wonderful universes and soundtracks will be forgotten... Roblox seems going strong, but we know that it will at some point get the fate of two previous games... The legend of Zelda will become a legend and then disappear... Everything you love now, will fade, become obsolete and completely disappear in ≈50 years.

Honestly, I'm so glad I played undertale. If somebody asked my favourite thing about it I'd have to say the emotion. The characters, music, fights, endings, and everything about it makes you feel an emotion. Even in the genocide route, you may feel upset about what you have to do to win, but so, so relieved when you beat sans (I was THIS close sans WHYYYYY) So my answer would be emotion, or a slightly longer word, everything.

undertale is also just amazing in terms of its story, and what the fandom did to it, expanding its story into so many AU’s is why I love it. The game alone is a masterpiece soundtrack and story, and actually really hard lol but amazing. With the fandoms it just grows and adds to it. Man I love undertale inc
