I mean, this is his only battle, one of which isn't expected since you'd expect asgore of all things to be the final boss He doesn't have any leimotif because he isn't TRYING to be like the others, he's not fair at all, trying to sabotage you to rage quit every chance he does
flowey's themes are by far my favorites, finale sounds so satisfying in a way and your worst nightmare just goes so hard. The switch from that hardcore stuff to the piano of finale is amazing.

Asgore's theme is one of the most emotionally charged pieces of video game music ever for me. Every time I hear it, I see him obliterate that mercy button, and it hurts him. Every time.
It is also very commonly associated with the song that goes on the lines with “a certain musical artist who particularly enjoys finger in the cavity know as the butthole”
It's been years since I played Undertale, and that song still always gets me. Toby Fox deserves a lot of credit for creating such a memorable soundtrack.

Undyne is definitely my favourite boss. On my first playthrough, I killed all the bosses because "of course you're supposed to, it's an RPG". Undyne proved to be the first real challenge for me and she was just terrifying and fun. The green heart is my favourite one, and the ending as she slowly disintegrates makes you feel so bad. This entire fight is just amazing.
i was the same as you on my first run. i hate people who tell you that you have to play pacifist on your first run. doing neutral then being told by one of the characters that you can go back through on pacifist is the superior feeling.

Dude, I don’t get how perfectly Toby managed to fit each character with their song. Every single theme has an emotion and it always fits the personality and situation perfectly. Like for example battle against a true hero gives off a “never gonna back down no matter what” vibe which fits undynes personality and in the middle there this sort of calm state which for me sorta reminds me of what she is fighting for, to protect all the monsters and then it all of a sudden gets powerful like she knows she’s the last hope.

Ok but jokes aside, how can so many perfect songs exist in one game? It just makes my favorite “megalovania” (basic, I know) seem that much better. All the other songs have a lighter feel to them, like there’s an emotional element, but Sans’ battle is just dark judgement
