Love to pick my books this way! I've been doing a random number generator to pick my books all last year, but I do mine a little differently. I have a Google doc spreadsheet of all unread books I own (physical and kindle) and I pick off of that list up to 3 times. I have to choose from those 3 books! So I let myself put 2 back if I am not sure about them or in the mood. And then once I finish, I pick 3 more, etc. Then I don't dread reading the next book! And I like to alternate between genres so I'm not confusing plots of books that I'm reading back to back. But this will be fun for you 😂 📖😈

I recently read Amber & Dusk and enjoyed it. I’m not big into romance either, and I don’t think the romance part is all that major. It’s definitely there and I think it’s being set up to be bigger in book two, but A&D focuses more on the mystery/political intrigue elements of it. Also, you should totally do this again-if not every month, then every other month or every couple months. It makes for a really interesting video!

Honestly I really like this system, seeing your reaction is hilarious and this could help you get to books you weren't gonna read or were delaying reading. Also for the Assassin series by R.J. Barker, I'll recommend going into it more as if it's a Agatha Christie murder mystery set in a Fantasy world instead of an actual assassin's creed on page kinda book, that worked for me and I ended up enjoying the series more as I went along :)

I love this so much and I love that you don't know what you're picking in advance. It removes bias from cover buys or pretty books.
