Great job. I also make model cars, but on a smaller scale and out of wood. However, due to the fact that I have very simple tools, I mainly make models of racing cars from the 30s.
Why didn't you put the passenger seat in? It's correct to be there as the cars were required to be able to carry 2 people. Well done. I'm building mine now.
This has to be the 1/24 Gulf version of the very similar 917K '71 racer winning car I have in Martini (white) molding. The company that sold it then was "Union." The major difference would be that my '71 version had the two vertical fins, whereas this '70 car did not. The other difference would be that my '71 car had a lighter, magnesium frame. Somehow I think they are both identical--plastic--on both versions of the model. Just a guess.... :D
The Union kit was a re-boxing of the Heller kit...decent for it's time. This Fujimi kit is an all new tooling. Slightly more accurate, better engineering and fit.
Is the lower part of the front is also decaled or it was painted orange? If it is the latter then how did you blend the painted orange and the orange from the decal? Very nice and clean build by the way
Ronny Susanto Hi, The lower part has been painted by orange lacquer paint. The paint looks similiar with orange decal without mixing additional color. I used Tamiya orange lacquer paint and 3 layers of gloss clear later on.
Why the Airbrush Brand??a Sponsor?? but no reference to Paints used.....What is the obsession with I've got a better airbrush than you and NO helpful painting guides...

클리어파츠 접착하실때 어느 제품 사용하셨는지 궁금합니다

특별한 재품은 아니고 문방구에서 파는 목공풀 사용했습니다. 처음엔 흰색이지만 마르면 투명으로 바뀌구여^^
Superb modelling. Did the seat belts come with he model?
No, it is optional.
@@plamodelstudio They certainly add to the detail.
What’s about the USS Kitty Hawk ? And can I know please the color that you have used for the hull ? The grey ?
Hi,
I used Mr.color hull red. I think I will build it again sometime this year after I finish my car collections.
Hi - what paint did you use for the Light Blue colour?
Where did you get the racing harness. Doesn't come with the kit?
James Unger
Not included. I bought a optional harness.
Where buy?
