I’m new so this might be dumb question, did you thin the paint from the spray can before painting the body or you just went straight from can to cup to air brush??? Thanks 🙏
@@Mindfularttherapy trust me - this is not a dumb question:) I did not thin decanted paint, sprayed it as is, but if you let paint sit for while (few days) you will need to add some thinner. Also you can't spray it right after decanting because there is still lots of propellent left inside the paint mixture and paint is cold. It's better to wait few hours after decanting (till paint reaches room temperature and completely gasses out), hope that's clear:)
@ thanks and since I got your attention, what’s the best consistency for paint. for airbrushing , I’m not asking measurements cuz paint changes and dries with time, so what consistency e.g., honey, heavy cream?????
@@Mindfularttherapy more towards milk consistency:)If you are on a fence, just buy some airbrush ready paint - open up a bottle, pour it to a cup, analyze it (while it's new and fresh). Remember that consistency and try to mimic it for other paint.
What did you use for the shining effect on the mirrors? You put a little piece of a mirror or something like that but I don't know what this is... thank you very much for sharing!
Very nice result. For me these kinds of projects, where everything has to be absolutely perfect are the most difficult
