What is your net of choice?
Raid Japan Gladiator net carbon telescoping handle that goes 7 feet. Great for on the bank when you can't reach with a regular non telescoping net. But it is super bougie at $250.00
Yakattack leverage landing net 12"x 20" foam extension 🙌🙌🙌
@@tymfortoysyou can get it for $135 from Japan 😹
An informative video on all of the different features for a net.
Just got a fully upgraded Jackson Trickster and HOLE. LEE. CRAP. This thing is an actual game changer for banking. It is so bad ass.
Sick!!
Nice!
Thanks fellas! The info in this video is spot on and very helpful. I've narrowed it down to 2 now, and I greatly appreciate your efforts in the videos you guys put together. My 11 year old son and I kick back and enjoy the on-watwr shenanigans that generally take place between you two. Change nothing, epic channel. Thanks gentlemen.
Awesome! Thank you!
Another great vid. I needed a net video because mine in reg sport store one and reg fiber net and it sucks. I need a costed one that short and Yall delivered on this vid. Thank you again.
There is a great DIY pvc handle extension you can do for the floating net. Extends the reach and still allows it to store easily on the front of your kayak
Thanks for the net information. Tons of options out there!
For the kayak I love my lucky strike net. Been using it for over 15 years and still going strong 💪🏻
I've got enough trebles in the hand that when it comes to any bait with multiple treble hooks use the net. I picked up yakattack leverage net and might start using my old net again. I'm used to the straight pole. And like the extra reach it gave me.
so the net frame is same size for all 3 models?
Ok that net from Jackson is DOPE!
Bought the leverage net and it was just so cumbersome to use. Couldn’t really figure out proper storage and the flukemaster flick.
Recently got the Ego kayak net and it’s been so much better. Much lighter, easier store, and use. Plus it floats.
I have a lucky strike net. Extendable handle, coated bucket style net. Made in Canada 🇨🇦
Great information thank you brother for eplaing it
The trickster net I'm not seeing anywhere the lbs fish it would lift particularly extended. Also how many extension points as it kinda looks like it's either short or full extension and I missed if there is a release or does it just extend if you pull (the issue there is big fish would pull it out lifting which 5o me would be a catastrophic design flaw)
Great information thank you
I really wanted the Frabill bear claw just because it was cool and would make me feel like Wolverine whenever I landed a fish. I got the orange one off amazon for 1/3 the price. Adulting sucks
😂😂
Man, needed one of those bigger ones last weekend. Broke off my PB pike close to the yak. I have a net but this 40+ incher wasn't going to fit in it. Still feeling the pain...
Dannnggg!!! We know how that feels!
@@aaanglers ugh it's terrible. Biggest fish of my life. So yeah, getting a big net very soon. Thanks for video.
I'm having heart pain just reading this
What net would you recommend for wading I find it’s hard to find a good place for it I have the fish pond. Thunderhead bag
Fishpond makes nets designed for that pack in different lengths. Those would be best, but they are not cheap. If you can get a net with a flat handle it should fit.
I like my Frabill for bank trout fishing. The net collapses and you can extend the handle
One tip, if you find your net doesn’t fit snug into a RotoGrip, use tennis racquet wrap or athletic tape around the handle to fill it out further.
Love my EGO net with the longer handle. Helps so much.
Good job 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 😁
Yall need to check out Broken Twig Landing Nets. He hand makes them out of broken hockey sticks he aqquires. They're pricey but as a bass fisherman and a hockey fan they're amazing. I love mine
I saw them at a kayak shop! Insane!
Heck yeah!!
Come on Trev, that is awesome! Thanks for sharing. He has my exact stick that I use...so freaking cool...I'm in!
I just bought one and the foam piece on the top seems like it's not fat enough or something. Not sure what's up with it. Do you know if they sell just that part or maybe I can use some type of high quality tape like the tape for the street bycycle tape. It's just odd because it's brand new. So the net just flys open right now. Thank you
For which net?
@@aaanglers The Jackson Trickster net. The blue one they showed that extends starts at 11:41
I got the yvleen from temu. Telescopic handle, coated net and floats. $20 bucks
H2O XPRESS™ Folding Kayak Landing Net. $20 from Academy Sports. I'm now reconsidering my life choices 😂
First bass of the year caught with your ultra light and Great Lakes Finesse Snack Craw.
I’m starting to think you guys might be Aggressively Above Average.
😂 def not but those baits are!
🙌🙌
Bass pro shops has a good one for 20 bucks and academy sports has a good one for 10
best nest shoud be foldable, flotting and be able to carry a 1M20 pike.
2M+ telecopic is also great if you fish on foot it can help dropping fish when river bank is coverd with wines.
so to clarifyfoldable in the back of you back pack, large enought to carry a metred pîke, and a strong and long enought handle to drop fish above wines.
I have a megabass net but i can`t fold it its a big disavantage that's why i want people to consider any quick purchase.
Love my foldable nets
Idk the Jackson net when fully extended looks so flimsy and not worth its price
It's def not flimsy, looks that way because it's stretched out 9ft
It's not, and you probably wouldn't lift a fish up 9 ft away from you. You would drag to shore or lift vertically or on an angle. IDK, we could test it more though
First comment let’s go

Paul, how many texts/calls have you gotten after this video showed your phone number?
Good catch, just deleted that part lol. Hard to catch everything
