🤣🤣🤣 Funny thing - something I said to a friend a day or two ago is "just because I can doesn't mean I should" 🤣🤣🤣 At this stage of my enjoying this hobby, I've hopefully (somewhat?) learned when to limit what I do as well...when things are just TOO much or can detract from a build. All of this stuff is like a balancing act to me, and sometimes outrageous is great...and other times not lol.
If you are. Happy, I’m happy. If you are doing a livery kind of the opposite of Hooters, Mickey Mouse might be it. Fun and colorful, which is what a nascar should be. Well done and thanks!
Thanks so much Gary! When I was working on this one, after seeing you do so many of this type, I couldn't help but think "damn Gary makes this look so much easier than it is" 🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic job on that there Jim my wife says hi giggles I'm a big Nascar fan but a fan since 1965 Ihop close to 4000 of them in my collection keep up the good work have a good one and God bless my friend
Thanks Paul! I had to laugh at the "thrift store baggie" comment - while I've never set out to get NASCAR castinsg, I seem to have a boatload of them from exactly that type of thing....bags of cars, bulk lots from eBay, etc.
Cool build .
I like the big wheels 🛞 on those cars .
Not a big Disney fan.
Full watch.
Very good finish .
Mike , be safe . 😊
Thanks Mike! Yeah, I get it, you're more of a Hooters fan than a Disney fan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms O YEAH 👍. 😂😂😂
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
Thanks Rudi!
Nice build. Love the whimsy of it all. Interesting to see the breakdown of a Racing Champions car. Great job Jim
Thanks Jody!
Outstanding job!! Thanks for the ride!!!
Thanks Eddie! Go team Honcho!!!!!
Awesome 👍😎
Thanks Dane!
Absolutely correct, Jim! "Why? Because I wanted to!"
And because you can!

@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms working on it with the grace of God
Very cool build. The Gauzy solution works great on the glass👌 Sound like you had a lot of fun making that custom.
Thanks! I did have fun...once I finally got around to working on it seriously (I had been dreading working on it for far too long)
As Mickey Mouse says…
…Hotdog!!! Super nice build.
Thanks Leo!
Nice NASCAR custom, Jim I like the decals and details 👌
Thanks Skip!
Hooters to Mickey Mouse! Heck, why not! Loved this build, Jim!
Thanks Mark!
Nice build, details and paint job 👌 👍
Thanks Joe!
Good work Jim!!! FYI, the driveshafts on NASCAR race cars are all white.
Thanks! I'm going to have to grab my white paint pen and make that correction - fortunately, it's under the car lol Thanks for the tip!
wow just wow 😮
Thanks Bob!
Much more family friendly livery you put on, Jim. 😅 I think I may have one of those “Hooters mobiles” somewhere as a thrift store baggie extra.
Thanks Paul! I had to laugh at the "thrift store baggie" comment - while I've never set out to get NASCAR castinsg, I seem to have a boatload of them from exactly that type of thing....bags of cars, bulk lots from eBay, etc.
Great job Jim 👍🏻
Thanks Mark!
@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms you're welcome 😊
It's very cute
Thanks GW!
I think it looks awesome brother, I haven't heard of the Mickey Mouse club in a long time.
Thanks David!
Weird theme, but from you, it works 😅
🤣🤣🤣 Hell Dan, from me even dipping a car in tabasco sauce and trying to set it on fire works 🤣🤣🤣
@@JimSilva-SilvaDiecastCustoms 😆
It did have a good livery on it originally lol. Buuut I like the new one like you said it's different. I like different and unique
Thanks Neil! That really is part of the fun - it being different.
