After nine hours driving on the autobahn, we finally made it to Munich to the Oktoberfest, right after we arrived, we went to the Wiesen It was absolutely incredible. Women and men dress up and traditional outfits thousands of people carnival rides. This is a full tour of the Oktoberfest in Munich a must experience I had the best time ever. - บันเทิง

went to Oktoberfest in 2019. My daughter and I shared one beer and couldn't finish it. haha HUGE!!! not the place to go if you dont like crowds and stimulation of the senses. it was super fun to see as a Canadian thats for sure. we had the fish on the stick and it was delicious. Stekelfische I think it was called...poured rain but we had fun...then got on the subway and went the wrong way. good thing one of us (not me) had the sense of direction eventually. Loved seeing all the draft horses with the wagons too
I bet this nighttime event was very fun and exciting for Mom! Mike, you are such a great son, and you bring much joy to your mom! I admire you.

Oktoberfest! Prost! My mate went there a few years ago. Funniest thing was that he saw two guys wearing dirndls instead of lederhosen. Their girlfriends were with them. They were introduced to my mate as Fräulein Helmut und Fräulein John! They lost a bet with their girls and had to wear the dirndls! Good sports. 🤣🤣 Great video GIV.
Great video mom and Mike. If that was held in America, with 5000 people and that much beer, we would have 4000 arrests, 1000 people injured AND Mike and his mom watching innocently.

Been there several times during the 80's. When we lived in Munich. Don't think I could handle it now.
Better without Phones. People actually talking or at least eye contact with those around them.
I went years ago, thank you for letting me reminisce with this video, as those 3 days in Munich were a blur.

Great video bringing back fond memories! While stationed at Ramstein AB from 89-93, I personally chartered buses to take people to various festivals throughout Germany, Netherlands and Euro Disney for a fraction of the Ticket and Tours costs. Octoberfest, for which we departed Ramstein at 0400 hours, was one of the most exciting and turned into wall-to-wall people after dark.

I always carried my wallet in my back pocket until I almost got pickpocketed in Mexico many years ago. I faintly felt something in my back pocket. I turned around and there was a young kid in his early teens trying to snatch my wallet. He took off running and I moved my wallet to my front pocket where it remains to this day.

When I first saw all those who were lying on the grass hillside, I thought they were homeless people in Munich. Best that those who partied too much wait it out, like we see them doing. I still can't wrap my head around drinking 🍻 beers and getting on one of those mind twisting, mind boggling mile-high rides. It would put the begeebies in me for sure, LOL. 😮
I visited the Oktoberfest in Munich several times during my time in Germany. It is always exciting, but a lot of stress too. I would recommend it for the younger folks, having fun around the clock. Definitely, a must see if you are coming from overseas. 😂❤

I love the colored lights ❤ I don't know how it works in Germany but in the Netherlands if you get alcohol poisoning and the ambulance has to help you the medical insurance will not pay. You did it to yourself so you pay for it yourself. They will help you but expect a big medical bill afterwards
