I had so many issues with my Emilie Wallet. After a year with light use the flap closure started curling and I had glazing issues. When I went to LV to inquire about the quality issues the CA looked at me like I had 4 heads and insisted that the Emilie wallet wears well. Glad to know I wasn’t wrong about this wallet having some quality issues
Yes!!! Totally agreed!! The flap will start to curl. I’ve mentioned the same issue on my comment here. Do not buy anything made of canvas with button in the middle of the flap. The curl issue very likely will happen. 😰
Definitely had this issue. I had to get it repaired after 2 1/2 years of minimal use and am forced to pay a whopping $195 🙄 never again!

Omg, I loooovvvve the trio pouch I use it a couple of ways 1. rectangle for cash, square for credit cards & circle for coin. Or 2. Rectangle for phone, square for charger & circle for earphones. But I agree with You about the phone case because of how your phone size changes. I always thought that .
I so appreciate these videos. I had so many different wallets from LV. I missed out on the original Zippy Compact and kicked myself. Then I discovered the Helene. Remember that one? It. Was. Perfect. NO wear after 5 years. Sadly both are retired :(

Your videos are so informative. I love my Sarah wallet in Epi. I purchased almost new on the pre-loved market and it is a workhorse and still looks new. Not buying an ultra expensive phone case that will be used for maybe a couple of years would seem like a no brainer.

Great video! I love the look of the pink leather snap closures but they look CHEAP & HORRIBLE over time. I eventually sold my Emilie and my 6 key holder. LV really needs to correct that. I didn't know about the Lock Me leather! Thank you so much! Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
You are so right on these.I have an old Astrid wallet thats still holding up after 15 years although its big!and 2 clemence wallets,in Ebene and Mono.My bags are holding up well,, but over 10 years old before the quality was just starting to go bad.

Awww, I love my trio and use it daily. My iphone fits in the larger pouch and somehow I’m able to fit cards, cash, hand sanitizer, lip balm, lotion (bbw pocket size) and my car key fob into the three segment with ease. 🤷🏻♀️ I totally get what you are saying price wise the Felicie would have been a better choice, but since mine was a gift… I’m making the most of it and enjoying it. I literally have two slgs the LV 6 key ring and Chanel card case. You would think with 27 bags, I would have more but I’d rather use that money for a bag I am going to get a pouch for bills not sure which brand. Great video as always.
Wow!!! I love your minimalist approach to SLGs!!! Honestly it's a smart approach - you never have to worry about swapping in and out of SLGs. I have quite a few I haven't even used... could have put the money towards bags. I kept my Chanel card holder unopened in my drawer for 2+ years and only recently opened it. The authenticity card was inside the main card compartment and completely stretched it out 😞 Need to let go of what I don't use!

So true! I had a monogram Josephine in rose ballerine. The button chipped and the glazing was coming off. I had it for 2 years and exchanged it for a toiletry 19. I now have the Clemence wallet. So much better!
Yay! None of my SLG’s were on the list 😂 I love my LV SLG’s but I refuse to by their card holders. I can’t justify spending $300-$600 when the contemporary brands make nice card holders as well. Side note, your almost at 10k subs 🙌🏾❤️

I have the Insolite wallet with the Stephen Sprouse print on the inside (going way back here). I used it forever and it still looks almost new. It sounds like quality has become an issue over the years. Thank you for making this video.

I was influenced by the hype over the Victorine wallet and I bought it. What a mistake. It was very impractical in every sense. It created a huge and ugly bulge inside when I had more that maybe 10 bills. I forced myself to like it (It's LV right!) but then sold it after a year. No regrets.
I loved the Emilie and currently have two 🥴 My D.E. version started peeling faster than I expected tho

I love my card holder! Yea the price was steep and I almost returned it but so glad I did not. It easily holds 2 cards per slot and I even put cash in it . I probably could even put 3 cards in but I have no need to do so. The $200 card holders hold maybe 4-5 cards. I also own a Sarah wallet but most of my bags are small so Sarah is way too big.

I wanted the Emilie wallet for my bday but my mom said the Sarah was better because it had more compartments so she ended up buying the Sarah wallet for me. It’s actually perfect because I was able to buy a slim insert for it which I can attach a crossbody chain to. Now I use it as a wallet on chain.

I have the key pouch which I use as my daily wallet. It’s my most used SLG and great value as it holds my travel cards, credit cards, cash as well as my keys. I would probably repurchase if I had to.

I love watching your videos Maison, they are so informative. My husband recently purchased the Emilie wallet for my bday! Sadly the button did start to wear off only after a month. I contacted LV and they were amazing! No hassle, sent me a return shipment label no cost to me. I am new to LV but so pleased with the customer service. Now I have to figure out how to preserve the button, I am considering going into their storefront after I get my wallet back to see what my options are. I really love my Emilie wallet (even with its flaws) it’s so pretty! I look forward to watching more of your videos for research on my next purchase 💕

I have the Emilie wallet in mono and rose ballerine and I love it. It's perfect. Had it for a year now and it shows no wear and it's the only wallet I use and have. I tried the Sarah first and didn't like it. As a pp said, it was mom-ish. Love the Emilie.

My personal experience… do not buy canvas wallet/bag (example: Felicie Pochette, Emilie Wallet, Sarah Wallet etc) with button in the middle of the flap. It is because after sometimes, the corners of the flap will curl upwards. My SA told me it is the nature of canvas 😳🙄
Great video as always 🥰 can I ask for your opinion (or anyone’s seeing this), I sold my pochette accessories after buying the multi pochette wich was an upgrade for me in terms of use, however I’m considering selling it since I almost only use the big pouch and instead purchase the Felice. But I’m a bit scared about the fold/cracks and possibly quality issues. After this summer I just felt like the structured look would suit me better. I really don’t know what to do though❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mimmi! I can't believe you sold your PA! I kept mine even though I haven't used it in years and I recently bought the bondouliere in khaki green with the round purse attached to use with it! I decided to do this instead of getting the multi pochette and i think it was a smart move ☺️
Re: the pochette Felicie - I have the worlds tour and recently purchased it in empreinte leather as well however haven't used the leather one yet. I haven't had any issues with the canvas on my world tour Felicie but in saying that I don't wear it every day. I rotate my bags on weekends and on holidays. A couple of years ago I took it to Singapore for a holiday and wore it for a week straight in the humidity and also A/C - so far so good ❤️
I don't like spending money on small leather goods that only stay in my bags so I don't have any of these. I recently returned a small bag I just bought from LV as soon as it arrived. I just got the LV Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene. Its that a good bag or should I be returning it too? I need it for work. I had the monogram print for 4 years and then sold it and wanted a replacement. It’s the wear. Canvas always has problems. It’s not as good as it use to be and who wants to walk around with cracked lv. Also leather is just a bit more exclusive. You won’t see everyone with it.

I love the Emilie wallet so much, it's my favorite. The sarah wallet is a "mom wallet" IMO and I don't see myself with it ever. lol. I have the Emilie wallet in the Damier Ebene and the black leather- empreinte. I love that card holder too. I agree it's not worth 600 but I just wanted it and am pleased with it.

Same as the wallets. Doesn’t wear well. Of course with proper care u would be fine but I thinkkkk you would have to baby it. I would still buy like a lock me on chain but that’s cause I know I’m not gonna be wearing it a lot

I was recently thinking of getting the trio pouch only because I need small pouches for random things to put in my larger bags. Initially, I was thinking of getting the mini pochette and a key pouch and almost had a heart attack at how much the mini pochette has increased in price. But, then saw the trio and thought that would work out better. Not sure now. Do you think the mini pochette would hold it's value better over time?

i always felt that the phone cases were silly for the same reasons that you mentioned in your video.
I debated which one to get for the longest time between the Emilie Wallet in Mono (Rose Ballerine) or the Sarah Wallet in Mono. I like both but went with the Sarah. I just love everything about it so classy and elegant a timeless piece. I have used it for 5 years and nothing else. It’s still looking brand new.I imagine with the emilie that colored button will fade and i heard people use nail polish to color it. That’s just something i’d rather not do especially for the price we pay.Great video 👍🏻
