Chandelier in the foyer could be a reference to that scene in Ghostbusters where they get Slimer. Also, wrecking the hotel and getting yelled at for it could be a reference to the game too. (Hellen yells at Luigi and the manager yells at the Ghostbusters.)
This game was really just a love letter to Luigi’s Mansion and the fans and I really appreciated it as I played. Though I do wish that when E Gadd said that they released the ghosts that Luigi got in the first game, we had been able to have a reunion with all of them in this location. That would have been cool but maybe another game. But for now, I really loved this game.
