I heard IEEE Senior Membership is sometimes not accepted? Are there any other membership you had like IEEE Senior? Just want to check if only one is sufficient or do you need more?

Thank you so much for reaching out Suresh. In Shantanu’s case IEEE Senior Membership (which should not be paid) was accepted by USCIS. In my case I didn’t use this criteria. However if you have a letter from IEEE explaining the membership and how you received it then it should work. Hope this helps. All the best!

Thanks so much for asking this question. Reading the pending AAO reads that the SM IEEE are not enough since there is a Fellow Category! But it is great to know that someone received the EB1A based on this point.

Looks like he is lucky. Based on his discussion he should not be qualified at all. The lawyer was correct in judging should be on at USCIS level to have more vetting

Well he got approved by USCIS so that means he qualified.

@@MeetPraneet That's what I am saying he is lucky here. while doing your masters or PhD most of them with their research will automatically will get the papers and citations so not everybody will qualify.
