But if you teach at MIT (say), you can claim that your worked was reviewed by acclaimed people in your field, that's why they let you teach in a prestigious institute. Regardless, it can be used for Final Merits Determination (FMD). It'll show that you are SME/master of your niche and plan to be in the niche longer. Participation in conf: No value, unless you reviewed papers/submissions of other participants, or presented. Speaker in webinar or conf: Could be the part of published articles. Would be great if you have recording. Need to show the impact of your webinar, conf presentation. Need to find accolades from viewers/ watchers mentioning they resolved complex problems/increased revenue/ saved IT costs from your presentation/work/artifacts. Authorship of articles undergoing editorial review: Nope, just writing articles never help. You need to find the impact, and document those in the shape of story such as a few accolades from readers.
