I love your videos man I used to watch u everyday when I was 14 I used to fish all day everyday but with school and getting older it’s been way too long last time I fished I was in the Gulf of Mexico caught some tuna Bonita mahi-mahi cudas and wahoo and some jacks off a pier in the keys it’s been way too long ur videos bring me back like I’m out there again thanks brotha I also like how u cook and clean it very nice

I'm a truck driver in the oilfield, all work and almost no play.

I know how you like debunking the “trash fish” myth, have you done one on garfish? I tried garfish patties back in the 80’s when I was working in Gonzales, LA. A Cajun guy brought some to work that had been stewed in a red sauce. They were surprisingly good.

Amazing video start to finish. I’ve watched a few different fishing channels, but yours is by far the best. So glad I recently stumbled upon you. I grew up fishing all over Mexico with my father when I was a kid. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been back. Watching you make fishing videos for a living makes me jealous! Ha! Caught a 300 lb Blue Marlin in Kona a couple years ago, so that was fun. Need to get out there more often. Keep up the great content. Maybe I can convince my son to become a TH-camr and I will be his assistant. ;)

Funny to see Pato in your video. I met him in New Zealand at the airport a few years back. He was wearing a hat from my mates online tackle shop in Australia and that's how we started talking. Cool vid as always and nice Rooster Viktor. If you want to get Roosters like that landbased, I can take you to a cool place in Mexico where you can sight cast them off the beach. You see about 50-100 Roosters a day, but they can be really frustrating some days. I even got Mahi Mahi off the beach there. Viktor in case you're stranded in pedasi looking for a rod or anything related to fishing, there's a tackle shop near pedasi, it's actually loaded on gear and you're only 7min from the lodge tho.

Hey Victor! Sick video man! I am going in August to Pedasí. You said that in Panama or in Central America the commercial fisherman just use hand line and no polluting fishing equipmentt. Actually, in Panama they do. They use some nets called “trasmallos” which are huge nets with very small holes. They usually put them near rocks or channels. Sadly, most of these nets get wrapped in the bottom and the fisherman don’t retrieve them and star killing coral, fish, sharks, turtles, etc.
The worst part is that they don’t have a specific target. The “trasmallos” kill huge schools of undersized Snooks, Corvinas, cuberas, rooster fish, jacks, sierras, angel fish, parrot fish, bermuda chubs, ect. Next time you go to Panama visit the seafood market in Balboa Avenue, Panama City. You’ll see all these mini versions of what we call “dream fish”. Here in the U.S we are lucky enough to have the fish regulations which keep the fish population safe and healthy.
The food was amazing. One you have those kinds of flavors and textures and preparation; I think you're in trouble. Your doomed to crave it for ever, I imagine.💙💙💯
