being self aware and not throwing back the shark bitten fish is the absolute best fishing i liketo see! makes me so happy seeing people practice and preach good behavior when fishing.
I completely agree! It's so satisfying to see anglers practice responsible fishing by not releasing shark-bitten fish. I've witnessed the gruesome aftermath of careless practices before, and it's heartbreaking.
Awesome video Viktor! From sea to table… catch your bait, catch your fish, clean your fish, cook and eat your fish. You and Brooke are killing it! Well done sir. You guys stay safe out there!
@LandsharkOutdoors-You have been reported to TH-cam. You commented on almost every single response on this awesome person's video and you should seriously be ashamed of yourself.
I love you & Brook & watch your videos. I watch one after another. I just finished watching the Belize tournament,..I just found your videos and started watching fishing videos a month or so ago. I love it for so many reasons. I love the water, boating and water sports. I lived in FL for five years but my condo was blown away by Hurricane Charlie. I'm about to purchase a camper and I'm planning to drive down the coast, spend some time on both coast and of course the Keys. I love being in, on, and around the water and the beach. I have been fishing throughout my life but I've learned so much watching your shows. Your videos are so enjoyable as well as Brooke's. You both seem so personable, genuinely kind, and fun-loving. You're about the age of my youngest son I think I'd like to be around at a tournament that you're fishing one day and it'd be so great to meet you . Wishing you all the best in life, which you've got a wonderful start on already. Oh yes, something that I really like is how sweet you are to Brook you are a real man in love, not afraid to tell her and the world how much you love her. I want to wish you both a life of true love and happiness. I'm envious of that, but I've had that part of my life and it didn't work out. What I do have from that is two wonderful sons, five grandsons and one granddaughter. That is a life fulfilled. I end by saying because I was once into horseback riding, Happy Trails, To you and Brook, Happy Fishing Ellen 🎣 🦦 🐟🎉
Great video Viktor! I guess the fourth time was a charm. Congrats. That meal looked absolutely delicious. Great cook. Char is flavour. Thanks for sharing!!!
Went offshore for the first time in Costa Rica this past year. I caught my first Mahi and a friend of mine caught a cubera. That thing was such good eating wow. I'm from Louisiana used to just fishing salt lakes and a couple miles into the gulf. What a trip, nice fish man. Video was great!
Wow!!!...what an awesome vidio....I have been following y'alls channel for a long time!!!! Y'all are by far my favorite!!! You and Brooke are truely awsome!!!! Y'all love the sport ...Y'all love life and each other!!! I give Y'all a 10 out of 10!!!To have a great love for fishing and all the adventures that go with it.....and are truely blessed to share that with each other....is over the top....I really appreciate the care taken in caring for your game....great fish...starts with great care given when the fish comes aboard!!!! I've always gone the extra mile...in caring for my game!!!! And people notice....if they miss the visual....they still notice by the flavor!!!! Well...both of you guys can out cook most of the ones that have the title...CHEF....passion driven people are rare these days!!! Keep up the great work guys!!! Thank you for taking us along !!! ....it's an awsome ride!!! Stay safe!!!!
A day after watching your video, the idea came to me to ziptie the second hook to the back tail (further back) instead of sticking it in. It think it would maximize your chances as there really would be no way to bite the tail off without the hook, which seems to happen quite a bit. (And it would keep the tail stronger and moving around more naturally.) Great videos!
vic you are the most kindhearted selfless person i know when it comes to fishing on a boat with group of ppl i love u man ur such a great stand up dude and brooke is also just flawless love ya both keep crushing these videos urs are top notch and best quality i feel outta the many i watch!!!
New to your channel. But honestly really enjoying your content. Your tone and demeanor when you speak is so calming and draws you in you which is very different than other fishing channels. Really love the time and effort you put into your content.
Your ability to experiment and try new things in the kitchen is amazing! I never would have thought to make a pasta sauce out of those pureed vegetables like that! The cook is the hardest critic of their own food, my wife tells me all the time how delicious my cooking is and I'm always like, oh, I could have done this better, or I over cooked it.... Sometimes you just have to take the compliment and enjoy your "not perfect" DELICIOUS meal! Great vid, I love when you do new/uncommon techniques or target new/uncommon species!
29:50 yeah I learned the hard way to, and I failed one time with oil in the pan cooking whole fish, wasn't enough oil, I actually made fish today, had them in the freezer, cleaned and cooked them fresh water red fish
Fun trip. The cubera spot off Miami is on the drop off next to the whistling buoy east of broad creek . I fished with one of my more successful friends in his 54’ Bertram. We caught one small fish about twenty pounds. We dined on thick steaks in the salon. The fanciest fishing trip I ever went on.
I'm not used to seeing lobsters like that. Are those spiney lobsters. I live in maine. I'm used to seeing big giant juicy claws attached to the lobster
Over here in Aus we call them reef Jack. Mangrove Jack. When the mangrove jack get bigger they leave the creeks and head out to the reef and get real big.
Just came home with some Big Blue Fin Tuna last week ranging 40-175 lbs each. It was a 2 day trip out of Mexico on the Pacific side launched out of San Diego but limited both day limits on my first day. I actually slept in on my second day since I couldn't catch anymore and there were no other open water pelagics around trying to find anything else. Maybe I should have re-hooked on a big rig system to see what I could have caught using one of my smallest Blue Fin as bait which would have been "The World's Most Expensive Bait" sequel...lol 😲 Oh, I did miss out on a rare occurrence, I had two "Massive"Mola mola sunfish actually following in a Blue Fin I was realling in and they were so huge we thought they were big sharks coming in with those dorsals out of water. I've never reeled one in, have no idea what they would taste like, but the following day on Western Outdoor News they reported a record Mola mola caught and brought in so I'm assuming some do in fact eat them and looking at the size of his "record Mola mola", I'd really argue that the two which came in just 10' feet off the stern side of our charter boat were easily as large and looking back, I should have passed my tuna off to another fisherman and grabbed another rod for a fast cast to try and catch one because they were just chillin' next to the boat as if just watching what was going to happen to that Tuna and never left until it was finally gaffed and carried out of the water onto the boat.
We always caught our own which sucked because it limits you to lobster season but that's over 30 years ago used a 4/0 or 6/0 Penn senator with hurricane rods!!!!! Is there anyone else that remembers catching them the old way on deep wrecks with old gear no high gear ratio!!! Don't get me wrong I love the video!!!!!!❤
If loosing the anchor is a common occurrence, maybe putting your contact information on it would be a good idea. I know that deermeatfordinner would bend over backwards to return it if he found it while diving.
A 3d scan and mould of one of these spiny lobsters to make a large soft plastic or segmented hard body would be nice to jig! I’m not familiar with that fish but looking at the way it’s built, it’ll probably destroy a jig!
Was that a red grouper or Nassau grouper in the beginning? All and all good stuff! Many generations have fished those moons all over Florida. Much better bait than food!
Victor I have a request. A Dextreme with serrations on the back of a 4 inch blade for Bluegill and perch. I have and love the 7" blade you were using in this video. a shorter blade fore a limit of bluegill with serrations for scales and spine would be amazing. Faster than switching knives. Also far less wasteful than the electric knives. I love your content bud. Thank you for another great video. Cheers from Michigan.
Hey, I'm from Texas. Looking to get into saltwater fishing... do you have any budget boat recommendations? I'm not someone who can afford to drop 300k on a boat. Thank! Love the content
that fight in spinning probably was the greatest! i still remember when i caught my first big cubera, it was 5 years ago! crazy fight! hey should you bleed all fish?
No reason not to, it's only gonna improve the meat. That said, it's much more important/noticeable with some fish than others. Mackerel and anything in the tuna or jack family especially.
being self aware and not throwing back the shark bitten fish is the absolute best fishing i liketo see! makes me so happy seeing people practice and preach good behavior when fishing.
Just be aware it’s illegal to keep an undersize or off season fish even if it’s been attacked by a shark before u landed it and won’t survive
Using plastic zip ties on a lobster if lost in a fish i wouldn't say is the best practice behavior in fishing.
I completely agree! It's so satisfying to see anglers practice responsible fishing by not releasing shark-bitten fish. I've witnessed the gruesome aftermath of careless practices before, and it's heartbreaking.
Thanks for showing the overcooking! too many people obsess over perfection, but it's a great way to relate and be authentic in your work.
Awesome video Viktor! From sea to table… catch your bait, catch your fish, clean your fish, cook and eat your fish. You and Brooke are killing it! Well done sir.
You guys stay safe out there!
My guy went from looking like a high school kid to a old man in a few months lol keep up the good work

Love the filet of the cubera and the preparation and your cooking was awesome❤
35lb Snapper, awesome. Great segment guys
It feels so bad when you go over on the sear but happens to the best of us. Looked like it was a blast.
Been watching since the hammerhead and juno pier edits. “
time to eat some spinach” iykyk….. juno pier snook video
Brook has been working out 🔥💯
That anchor probably costs more than the bait
Brooke is a beautiful person all around.
You're vids are top notch bro. Really enjoy watching them!
Always top notch videos. Always positive… always educational.
I am drooling over that meal! Great video👍
Great video! Excellent job with the narration too, I learn a lot watching your videos, thanks!
I thought the fish looked Perfect! Love that little Char!

Criticising your own cooking is part of the whole thing, I don’t think I have ever cooked a meal I was 100% happy with.
It is a worrying thing to do, targeting breeding creatures, usually there is a close season to stop exploitation.
Vik loving this Bro!
Love to see Cubera pulled up👊
You kept it real with us and served up some hockey pucks. 😂😂😂. It's ok I'd still eat it. Looked delicious.
Cooked to PERFECTION. Just the way I love it...
There's a cleat inside the chain locker to tie the end of the anchor rope to so you don't loose it! Ask your Dad, he knows where it is, it's his boat.
That was crazy I would never think you could use lobster for bait ❤❤❤❤❤ absolutely amazing
Wow beautiful sharing. Keep up the good work ❤❤❤❤
God bless you brotha, cheers to many more catches this year💪🏾🔥
Quality is nuts
Another great show! Thanks so much, enjoyed it. Looking forward to viewing your next show
Awesome video guys!!! Great catch and awesome dinner with friends
Another Great Episode 👍🏾
You inspired me to start my TH-cam channel.
Thanks for the inspiration 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
You are the man Victor!!!
It all looks great I bet it was good 👍 I wish I could have some good job vick
I was under the impression you can not use treble hooks when bottom fishing natural baits. Is that now allowed? Thanks for the great videos.
i believe its just reef fish you have to use a circle hook but i also believe cubera is a reef fish so idk
Pretty sure Cubera is a reef fish and trebles with live bait are not allowed. I say give some grace… he releases a lot of fish too.
Those Throats smoked are amazing 👏 🍻
Gotta trim the zip tie
Great video victor
this video deserves 2M likes
Those Cubera are tanks! Great video! Love to try some Cubera some day. :)
Love watching your videos got me through a lot
That's why you give the fish good color and put it in to finish cooking while you plate the pasta ... But still looking good ... Good job
29:50 yeah I learned the hard way to, and I failed one time with oil in the pan cooking whole fish, wasn't enough oil, I actually made fish today, had them in the freezer, cleaned and cooked them fresh water red fish
Hi
what sharpener you use for sharpening of your Dexter's?
You have no idea how much we enjoy your videos!! Thank you & Great job!
Been waiting for this video
Does Cap charter or guide? Be down in Aug and looking to check a Cubera off my bucket list.
Vic, Great video! Havent seen you in South Jersey (Longport) lately... Time for a trip?!
Hey Vik, did that 1st cube have a brand under his left eye and if so do you know why?
Fun watching
this
I can hypnotize lobsters as stand them in their heads.
Vic, question on the dual edge knife. What do you use to sharpen this knife or any other knife of your liking? I am going to order one of those knives
Great video. I was expecting to see you show us how to make a fish jaw mount.
I regularly catch mangrove jacks that outfight barramundi twice their size.
Cubera look like fun.
I bet they taste amazing! Something that eats that much lobster has to taste good!
Nice beautiful catch and cook wow amazing

Here in Australia, although we mainly use hands to catch them, you can get away with just using a lacrosse stick😅😅😅
That mount is so cool!!! Let me buy one of yours!!!!!!!!!! Name a price and awesome video man! I check every day to see if you have posted 😂😂
bigger = more chance of ciguatera ? or is it by region like more found near cuba?
I'm not used to seeing lobsters like that. Are those spiney lobsters. I live in maine. I'm used to seeing big giant juicy claws attached to the lobster
what pound test you using on the lobster bait rigs?
Awesome . Thanks y'all!! God Bless ❤❤.need to put more hearts for all y'all.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Respect
Over here in Aus we call them reef Jack. Mangrove Jack. When the mangrove jack get bigger they leave the creeks and head out to the reef and get real big.
Why would you not go back to get your anchor as you were diveing to get bait why not to retrieve your anchor in day light. Just wondering.

Fantastic footage 😀
Cubera Snapper; When the moon hits their eye like a big pizza pie that's Amore !
You're catching the George Costanza's of the Cubera snapper world....nothing better than spawning and eating lobster at the same time..!!!
Try putting the lobster on backwards hook it from the tail first and then head facing out if they eat it tail first they'll always eat the hook first
Awesome video! Great info and lots of action. 💪❤️🎣
just got me some canned krill, it is very delicious, lucky Wales!
Would love to make a skull mount out of one of those, so cool and awesome catch as always 👍
Isnt it kinda messed up to target spawning fish?
If loosing the anchor is a common occurrence, maybe putting your contact information on it would be a good idea. I know that deermeatfordinner would bend over backwards to return it if he found it while diving.
He actually would he's that kind of guy 😊
He’d probably try to eat it.
I love this video 😊

There is an awesome recipe for Snapper I am sure you know about it. Snapper in the oven with potatos, onions and bell pepper and parsley.
bro that "salsa" looked incredible
Do you not have to use circle hooks for reef fish species in Florida?
Yes if using natural bait.
What rod is that with the saltiga spinner ?
lonter breakfest lunch and dinner nah those snappers be eating better than me💀💀💀
Brown food tastes good 😁

Nice to see a glimpse of the euros of them I've asked before if you have a "trophy room"
Hey, I'm from Texas. Looking to get into saltwater fishing... do you have any budget boat recommendations? I'm not someone who can afford to drop 300k on a boat. Thank! Love the content
Yo from your friends in San Diego California USA 🇺🇸
Good video, Victor. Always a fun time and inspiring in some way.
why not make some big 3D printed lobster lures???????
Vic you okay brother ?
Love how you left the burnt fish in. Not really burnt. But yeah. Still probably tasted amazing!
that fight in spinning probably was the greatest! i still remember when i caught my first big cubera, it was 5 years ago! crazy fight! hey should you bleed all fish?
