Thanks a million, today is August 3, 2024 went to see my dermatologists after about 2 weeks of seeing a rash on my arms, leg, now spread to my back, no biopsy was done, one look and he gave me the name LP and a prescription for corticosteroid treatment . I am so glad you are fine🥰 I was also diagnosed with lichen planus three years ago and I think it is currently in remission because I have only few spots on my skin. Your videos really helped when I was desperate and thought that it will never go away.
@@jaseelajazi9443 nothing special, it just went away. I still have few very small spots but you can barely see them. The most important thing is to avoid stress. I also noticed that sea water helps so i go to the beach as much as i can in the summer.

yup! i did the light therapy. i feel like that made it more difficult to get rid of the dark spots but it was a win lose situation. i needed the treatment to stop the disease and in turn it made the dark spots harder to get rid of.

I did make a suggestion about using glycolic acid with 🌹petal witch hazel in one of your past videos. I suggested to buy the glycolic acid separately then mix it. Did you ever try it?
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am starting narrow band UVB light therapy soon for papular eczema which looks just like what you have. I also have an auto immune disease called sarcoidosis which affects my skin. Did you know they can prescribe for you a home unit so you can do your light therapy at home instead of the hassle of traveling to the doctor? I had the same issue with driving an hour each way plus going to work etc. so I stopped. But this time, the dermatologist was like why don’t we get you a home unit?!!! Whaaaat?? I can do this at HOME???? Why didn’t anyone tell me???? Anyway, Insurance paid for it 100%. I’m getting a six foot narrow band uvb machine to use at home for my whole body. I completely sympathize with what you went through. I am dealing with scars too. And I completely agree with you. Once the long inflammation stops I can address hyperpigmentation. And yes the doctors are not usually aggressive enough. I always take matters into my own hands because no way am I going to just wait it out. no way. That s not acceptable. I have had suffered from lichen planus for more than a year on the right side of my body. It although stopped after that, the dark spots have not left my body for the last 4 to 5 years and now I want an effective method to cure the spots and the methods to not it surface again in my life, coz it's really disappointing.

Hello!!! I just saw your this video and then the previous that you posted. When I was 7 yrs old ,I got some acne over my stomach (*I was too young to know what's happening*)we took some homeopathic medicine and then I got dark spots all over my body, except face ,toes and palm exactly same as you posted the pic previously. We thought it was a medicine side affect and then I was given some chunk of medicines,the doctor's that time basically were not able to identify this🙄,once a doctor saw my prescription and told such high dose to a small kid may damage liver and I was damn scared of medicines, thereafter.I specifically asked only for creams to apply. Back then They also had taken a cell sample but could find nothing. After 2-3 yearsof medication a doctor told it's lpp. I just had dark brown spots with no itching or redness..no complications just it looks bad that everybody keeps on asking what happened and you cannot tell everyone,as you mentioned to prevent from sun.And to tell this, I was so so fed up with all medication , some doctors told this cannot be cured we do not know whether this would completely be cured or not. It's been 10 yrs from now and still deprived of wearing half sleeve and it sucks😭😭😭 it's still there but the spots been a bit lighter than before. But still not gone and it feels so so bad I couldn't express...🥺🥺 As a younger sister I would love to ask to where did you got the treatment done ,or are there really treatments available?? awww i’m sorry you’re going through this ! i stopped caring about the dark spots because it’s too hot in the summer to walk around with hoodies and long sleeves. plus i just accepted it for what it was. i’ll post a video soon on what i’m doing for dark spots but honestly sunscreen and time are the biggest factors. there is no miracle product or treatment for dark spots unfortunately

After watching your videos I now think I have folliculitis my story is pretty much the same. Cut myself with a razor was taking vitamin B and other supplements and I have eczema which is from my immune system. I couldn’t figure out why these bumps looked different but it all makes sense now. citrus fruits ! i love citrus fruits and always ate them. then after my lichen planus went into remission whenever i had citrus fruits it would make the bumps reappear !

I have it also and that’s my question as well. Sun exposure. My arms are clear and I believe it’s bc of the sun fading them away but my stomach...that’s a different story
i try not to expose my skin to the sun because sun isn’t good for dark spots and makes them darker. i’m taking vitamin d supplements until my skin clears up enough for me to lay in the sun and not worry about my dark spots darkening. but those times when i do wear T shirts and have my arms exposed i make sure i have on sunscreen .
long story short, i had a vitamin d deficiency so i took 10,000 units of vitamin d a week and it went away. i also got the UVB treatment . also i developed an allergy to citrus fruits and that would make it flare back up
this is what they said I have and only gave me a steroid creme to put on 2x daily for a week and 1 week off. its getting worse and on my feet, arms,legs,back,front, palms of my hands. its driving me crazy. I want it gone

Kaylyn I have Lichen Planus with an overlapping bullous pemphigoid. Only 1% of the worlds population suffers with this particular disorder. My dermatologist also happens to be a pathologists. It took my back 2yrs to clear up but it came back with a vengeance in 2017 with very large tough skinned blisters and symmetrical lesions.My back was not affected this time...but the blisters are largest on the abdomen. The back of my legs and thighs look like leopard skin. The active itchy lesions are on my inner thighs.I understand what you've gone through and then some. Thanks for all your information. I have had suffered from lichen planus for more than a year on the right side of my body. It although stopped after that, the dark spots have not left my body for the last 4 to 5 years and now I want an effective method to cure the spots and the methods to not it surface again in my life, coz it's really disappointing.

Hello!!! I just saw your this video and then the previous that you posted.
When I was 7 yrs old ,I got some acne over my stomach (*I was too young to know what's happening*)we took some homeopathic medicine and then I got dark spots all over my body, except face ,toes and palm exactly same as you posted the pic previously. We thought it was a medicine side affect and then I was given some chunk of medicines,the doctor's that time basically were not able to identify this🙄,once a doctor saw my prescription and told such high dose to a small kid may damage liver and I was damn scared of medicines, thereafter.I specifically asked only for creams to apply. Back then They also had taken a cell sample but could find nothing. After 2-3 yearsof medication a doctor told it's lpp. I just had dark brown spots with no itching or redness..no complications just it looks bad that everybody keeps on asking what happened and you cannot tell everyone,as you mentioned to prevent from sun.And to tell this, I was so so fed up with all medication , some doctors told this cannot be cured we do not know whether this would completely be cured or not. It's been 10 yrs from now and still deprived of wearing half sleeve and it sucks😭😭😭 it's still there but the spots been a bit lighter than before. But still not gone and it feels so so bad I couldn't express...🥺🥺

awww i’m sorry you’re going through this ! i stopped caring about the dark spots because it’s too hot in the summer to walk around with hoodies and long sleeves. plus i just accepted it for what it was. i’ll post a video soon on what i’m doing for dark spots but honestly sunscreen and time are the biggest factors. there is no miracle product or treatment for dark spots unfortunately

I've stopped the treatments many years back .Now they've(dark spots) become light a little.. a bit darker than the current pic you showed in the video.
* I wish I could know if you consulted some doctor and that helped to get better.* I was small so the spots were like big dots and now the skin has stretched so they've also stretched.🙁

After watching your videos I now think I have folliculitis my story is pretty much the same. Cut myself with a razor was taking vitamin B and other supplements and I have eczema which is from my immune system. I couldn’t figure out why these bumps looked different but it all makes sense now. Can you please share what products or routine you used to help get rid of the dark spots and if you had different treatments for your folliculitis.

i have Lichen Planus and im dealing with the same thing. what frtuits trigger you?? I know i can even think about wearing perfume on my bare skin, i only spray it in my hair or my hair brush now.
citrus fruits ! i love citrus fruits and always ate them. then after my lichen planus went into remission whenever i had citrus fruits it would make the bumps reappear !

What are you using? Mine is lighten but do you expose your skin to the sun?
I have it also and that’s my question as well. Sun exposure. My arms are clear and I believe it’s bc of the sun fading them away but my stomach...that’s a different story
i try not to expose my skin to the sun because sun isn’t good for dark spots and makes them darker. i’m taking vitamin d supplements until my skin clears up enough for me to lay in the sun and not worry about my dark spots darkening. but those times when i do wear T shirts and have my arms exposed i make sure i have on sunscreen .

long story short, i had a vitamin d deficiency so i took 10,000 units of vitamin d a week and it went away. i also got the UVB treatment .
also i developed an allergy to citrus fruits and that would make it flare back up

Kaylyn I have Lichen Planus with an overlapping bullous pemphigoid. Only 1% of the worlds population suffers with this particular disorder. My dermatologist also happens to be a pathologists. It took my back 2yrs to clear up but it came back with a vengeance in 2017 with very large tough skinned blisters and symmetrical lesions.My back was not affected this time...but the blisters are largest on the abdomen. It's an immunomodulatory drug..that works by stopping inflammation....it worked for me....lesion stopped spreading....along with that I took multivitamins and pre and probiotics.....do check ur vit D (it worked for kalvyn ivy)
