I just want to say thank you, you got me back into crafting after years. And now I'm making money crafting jewelry and close to making it my primary income. Even if you don't have a million subscribers you do have an impact on people.
That honestly made my day. Thank you so much for such a kind message😁
steaming tea prevent leaf oxidation. u got a green tea, congrats!
The Modern Rogue just did a couple great episodes on tea, great next step in education
Some of it may be the drying time. I know that for the big companies they let the leaves dry for days and weeks in huge buildings basically designed for the purpose. Admittedly that's primarily for black tea (which honestly is just let dry and oxidize for longer). Great video as always
Primarily if you're comparing it to store bought bagged tea, that is ground up to the pount thar theres a bunch of poweder shoved into the bag with leaf bits. So its like steaping tea and powder drink mix. It's also the lower quality leaves that go to the bags so its going to be far more astringent. Loose leaf is often more smooth depending on the style, Japanese teas are rolled tight and often crushed/chopped into smaller bits to have a richer vegetable flavor compared to Chinese tease. If you like how you prepped it something like long jin or monkey picked teas would be a good place to poke around with loose leaf.
🙏🏾Thanks🎓💯
Some teas have a prime time to pick for maximum flavor I'm unsure for your plant.
I grew Chamomile this year and I know the best time to pick was when the flowers were full bloom and not drooping. The drying methods and times can also factor into how flavors work. I usually just air dry all my plants and they look super aesthetic hanging from places by twine or sitting in a bowl. Though air drying can take quite a while so dehydraters are another option I've seen being used.
You are my favourite TH-camr and all ways inspire me to make something
Thank you! That means a lot😁
Now to start growing my very own Skill Tea
🤣 ah damn! I missed a chance at word play! Well done
If you wanna learn herbal infusions this is a great place to start. Also an infusion would be a fancy way of making herbal potions.
You can make tea out of dandilions you find on the street too. Most people see them as weeds. But they actually contain medicinal properties so don't throw them away when you uproot them.
Love me some tea.
SAME😁
Very cool, sir. I can picture your druid making tea out in the wild.
That would be cool! Things like this make be feel like some woods wizard brewing healing potions.
@@SkillTree you'll have so much gear and equipment eventually that you could shoot your own film.
I'm from Sri Lanka. We have tea land but we don't use tea leaves like this, thank you so much brother ❤️ Ayubowan🙏
Definately enjoyed !!!
🙏🏾Thanks🎓💫
Now I want to convince my dad to get chocolate mint again and try this cause it seems fun
I hope you enjoyed your episode, Wolf!
@@SkillTree I did! That tea looks yummy
Your one of my favorite subscription. Thank you. Any best brand used for your air dry clay?
My air dry caly experience is limited to DAS from Michael's. I liked using it, but it is the only one I have used so far. Thank you so much for watching!
Loved the video
Very cool 😀
Need to watch modern rogue dude! They just did a couple of episodes all about tea!
Did they!? Did they show how to make some as well?
I wonder how well it would work to dry using a cooling rack on the top shelf and a cookie sheet on the lower shelf. Might not have to turn them.
I bey that would work! If you have the time to wait, you could also just hang them up to dry.
Next Skill: Herbology (Gardening/Foraging)

Am I the only one to make this joke? Idk
It's very simple... it's not as strong because you didn't add bourbon. I know... I'm a tea enthusiast.
THAT'S WHAT I FORGOT!
Prob not strong enough bcuz you steamed it first?
i prefer tea bags
I'm down with the indoctrination tip.
make leather flat cap
👍👍👍👍👍
I really would have prefered to see a video of someone that knows what heis talking about
Why did you not level up your botany skills?
As a note, because I can't help myself, when you flash the name of the plant on the screen about 30 seconds in you capitalized both names. When listing the scientific name of something, the genus should be capitalized, and the species name should not be capitalized, so it should have read Camellia sinensis. This is a very common mistake that people unfamiliar with using these names make, which is why my horticulture instructors were always very particular and would dock us points if we did it incorrectly, so please don't feel bad or anything. (and be nice if you are one of those people who already knew this)
I did NOT know this. Very interesting! You have taught me something new! Thank you!😁
interesting
We all know tea is the best drink ever
First again
On FIRE 🔥
Good video but you don't have to constantly yell, it makes listening to it very unpleasant
