As much as I appreciate you putting together a rat tribal list for Ashcoat, a lot of these rats are just….bad. So bad that replacing most (not all) of the rat creatures with Rat Colony is just the much smarter option. It helps the mana curve even more and the Rat Colony cards will always get value from other rats being in play. Just my thoughts, though
Yeah I know the rats are bad. Realistically I would add like 10-15 rat colonys. In my head I wanted to show as many rats as I could so that people could building rat decks get a look at all the rats mtg had to offer
It doesn’t need the extra utility in anything else lmao. Persistent petitioner is great when you have a bunch but wouldn’t just run them in any random deck. Every card has its home
Black market is just real slow. It comes down turn 5 and by then you’d rather be putting in more rats than an enchantment that doesn’t do nothing right away

With the price of Rat Colony at the moment this may be the only real choice. Unless proxies. I'm always down to proxy 👏

@@poppmagic there is also Relentless Rats which would be a good way to build it though a bit higher manna cost.
I'm dissapointed that no one that would run a rat deck this way (with sack outlets) wouldn't run Black Market from Mercadian Masques
