The fact that you come from Namibia, a less populated country almost explains the chaos you will experience in more populated countries. About the dollar, I know how you feel. A flactuating dollar is every businessman's headache for the same reasons you mentioned and it is very bad just for the past year. It has put many of us in a situation where you can't gauge your exact spending power parity. About liqour, That just seem like a new company and not counterfeit. Kenyans are very skeptical of new brands and I understand why they'll warn you in advance. Mostly, don't go by people's fears because most have not experienced the stuff they warn you about. Finally, keep enjoying your stay and I hope some of the concerns will improve eventually. Karibu sana Kenya.
You actually took time to watch my entire video? OMG, Thank you so so much and your feedback is spot on and assuring. Indeed the liquor part traumatised me & your right, people's fears are projected onto us and will make adjustments on that. Asante wholeheartedly. 🙂
@@misslukas karibu sana. Most Kenyans care about their country and they'll mostly watch stuff about the country. We learn through other people's experiences. I have been to your country and most African states for that matter and I can tell your concerns are valid.
waiyaki way was a good road before the expressway was constructed 2 yrs back, apparently they had already approved a repair budget but then idea of the BRT from CBD to westlands came about so another additional budget of road expansion and BRT infrastructure was approved but they had to source for more funds, don't what happened to that cause it's been facing delays stil( i blame gov't incompetence), even i as a kenyan do hate the bodas, especially as a driver who shares the road with them. On the security issue, that's the price we have to pay for being a Bantu majority country next to the Horn of AFRICA, literally a last frontier for bantus and the peaceful lot of nilotes(The kenyan ones are actually also 40% to 20% bantu admixture, so they tend to be more peaceful than the Sahelian and Horn of Africa Nilotes), Africa definitely gets safer the further south you move into Bantu territory and geography just dealt us a bad card with having a cushitic muslim extremist neighbour next door. they either attack and bomb you for not holding a similar faith and call you some derogatory anti-christian name or do it for your bantu features, but we still have to take in their refugees from their failed states and endless inter clan and tribal wars , so yeah we have to deal with it as it comes and better stayed prepared.
What on earth do nilotes have to do with lack of security? That's a new one. I concede that us kipsigis MIGHT have some bantu (kisii) admixture (as well as maasai), but I doubt it otherwise.
Its a shame what's going on at Waiyaki way. It was damaged during the construction of the expressway and the contractor who built the expressway was supposed to repair it at their cost. Somehow as time went on the government was left to shoulder the rebuilding costs and tenders were given to cronies who have no capacity to repair that road in the name of cost cutting. Its a rude welcome to Kenya for any visitors visiting Westlands for the first time.
Last time I checked Kenya was ranked 8th in Africa for quality of roads. Globally, we were ranked 64th in quality of roads. Our roads might not be perfect, but I think we have improved over the years compared to some of our regional counterparts.
Thank you sister I am a kenyan what you say is true drainage system in our country is really bad we do expect those in authority will do something instead of corruption. day in day out.
for uber you can always text instead of them calling you its just issues with the app, the 2 months deposit was a scam no Kenyan does that its always one month deposit beware of scams, you found the dollar in the process of stabilizing in Kenya its normally at 100 shillings to 1 but the shilling had problems its now getting back to normal we expect it to stabilize back where it used to be
It is not fixed remember for an expat you can even ask for 6 months coz you don't know when they will leave......stop typing anything just to argue business owners will ask expats even for a year payment especially if their reason to be here is unclear. The dollar is not normally ksh100..... Uhuru and Ruto ruined the economy and most of you bought smartphones when it was 100bob the dollar used to be ksh 72 before Uhuru and Ruto came in.....all your arguments are subjective as hers coz you lack knowledge
Yes you should visit nokuli 😅.. Thanks for the suggestion. The reactions won't be authentic vali cos I ate most of the snacks actually. 😅 but sure will do. 😊
Hasante (Swahili for Thank you) Madam. Please tell me the equivalent of Diani Beach (Kenya) in Namibia. I am planning to go there. Let us also talk about available business opportunities from the Land of SWAPO and Sam Nujoma. Sorry, I am an older generation Kenyan. Those are the only Namibians I know.
That would be Swakopmund. We have the Atlantic Ocean so it’s colder there.. On business opportunities, I am not sure but the market is there regardless of the numbers.

@@Dok2023 Asante. 🫶🏽
Namibia truly has fantastic roads and zero traffic! Driving is truly a breeze.
It's the boda bodas for me, they are such a nuisance🤦they've no respect for traffic rules. The City County should just do something about the menace.
Hopefully they listen to iyr cries..

2 months deposit and viewing fee🤭😫 shuuuuu
I think the security all over the clubs and malls is a positive. At least you are sure nobody with a gun or a knife will attack you….
Yes as mentioned its a good thing... I have highlighted the fact that I am not used to that.
Kenya has also experienced terrorists attack the last one in one of the malls so no more taking chances that,s why...
Namibia has diamonds, the exchange rate has to be high
Ahaa.. We learn something new everyday.
Thank you.
