And that ladies and gentlemen is how you prepare for a case. Defendant made the plaintiff look unprepared and ignorant. No proof of anything. He's mad he didn't get a bigger awning for free.
That defendant was PREPARED. I believe the defendant when he said that he would fix the problem if his guys made a mistake, but he was on it and won without hesitation.
Fabulous defense! I knew that it wasn't going to end up well for the plaintiff when he couldn't even tell the judge the measurements of the original awning.
his old awning was probably loose for a long time and it may have shifted forward giving the appearance of a longer awning , and then like he said , one day the awning just completely fell off . but its hard to beat the defendant's pictures when u dont have any pics of your own to contradict them .
this is why it is so annoying when people who think they are right don't take a breath and listen to someone disagreeing with them - we can be 100% convince we are right - and be totally wrong - any human can do this !!! So let's give each other more grace and less meanness when discussing issues. Even in the face of PROOF this guy walked off mumbling about how he was right - when he is out of his mind - and need to take some tea time!
The defendant was on it!! As for the plaintiff living in his home for 12 years proved he never paid attention to his own owning. By the way 12 years living in a home is not a defense. 😂
his old awning was probably loose for a long time and it may have shifted forward giving the appearance of a longer awning , and then like he said , one day the awning just completely fell off . but its hard to beat the defendant's pictures when u dont have any pics of your own to contradict them .
Very impressed with how prepared the defendant was. I don't understand how people come to court thinking they will sway the judge with just their presence LOL
Plaintiff was 100% hallucinating, he imagined a size he never had. Defendant proved that was the correct size and the plaintiff still refused to accept the facts. I hope the whole neighborhood is laughing with this plaintiff
Over & over, vendors make things waaaaaay harder by not including such basic info on w/O's: actual Contracts 🤷 + MEASUREMENTS, Photos, SIGNATURES/upon acceptance, signed notices of the "fine details", Before & Afters ... Ridiculous, how they wind up as litigants (many don't bring EVIDENCE) 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I knew he wasn't going to accept the verdict. You see this more and more. The evidence is wholly against them, yet people still argue they are right, when they have ZERO evidence.
Sooooo. Does the defendant offer consultations, because honey he didn’t just have receipts, he had organized receipts 👏🏽 it was like a story being told with just the evidence provided 😅 some of these other litigants need to consult with him on how to prove a case.
his old awning was probably loose for a long time and it may have shifted forward giving the appearance of a longer awning , and then like he said , one day the awning just completely fell off . but its hard to beat the defendant's pictures when u dont have any pics of your own to contradict them .
In 12 years time he never took a picture of his house? In 12 years he never saw that his neighbor has a deeper awning? When its fell it was his chance to have it replaced by a bigger one.
🤔... um, let's see now... I'm thinking it's something like 12 years... 🤔... yup, pretty sure it was 12 years... I could be wrong, but... I don't know, 12 years has a familiar ring to it for some reason. Twelve years seems to ring in my head, somehow. Like I said... I'm not really certain, but it seems to me that Mr Plaintiff was dead set on the fact that he'd been living in his home for 12 solid years. 🤔... yup, 12. I'm going with 12 years the man lived in his abode. 12 solid years... 12 years with them ugly-ass awnings. 😐😑😐... 🤭... 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏾
This case should have been over in < 5 mins. From the moment the plaintiff said he didn't have pictures, I'm screaming, just check Google maps/earth. No surprise the plaintiff said the old awning the defendant showed was not his. 🙄
He's lucky the guy didn't counter sue for having to go back to the dump and retrieve the old awning. Definitely worth a few hundred more for that trouble and I think JM would have awarded it.
Some people will dig their heels in a statement even if proven wrong. Jesus Christ could not convince this man he was wrong. The older they get, the worse they get. That's just how some people are.
The plantiff was clearly trying to scam the defendent and pull a fast one on him. He wanted a 65 inch awning for the price of a 42 inch. Luckily the defendent beat him at his own game.
Exactly. Somebody put a bug in his ear advising that because the contract didn’t specify, then he had a case. Unfortunately for him he’s both an idiot and the defendant is honest and prepared.
How can I say this without sounding racist??? He was more upset that his neighbor’s awning was bigger because Africans tend to be…a bit snobbish and entitled. No one is immune to their ways. There, I said it and as a Black woman, I meant it. Had his neighbor’s awning been smaller or the same size, this case would never have happened.
The defendant should have specified the dimensions in the contract. Also, he should have measured from the window, not the old awning. After all, the defendant is supposed to be the professional. Again, I don't totally agree with the judge.
The defendant came well prepared however something is still not quite right with the awning. Even in the pictures the old one is same size as the porch and the new one is not. So there is an issue somewhere. The plaintiff kind of got screwed at the end of the day.
Perhaps it's not ignorance but they may have a learning disorder. I knew a brilliant gent, Michael D.; he spelled phonetically😜 but he's an absolutely gifted person, far above average intelligence, has a very keen intellect.
I believe that the defendant fucked up by making the wrong size awning for the plaintiff's home because after all he should know the difference in sizes. Milian did him wrong. Idc what the pictures show.
I love when I find one I haven’t seen yet, this defendant was so prepared and I bet he started writing measurements on the contracts after this too 😂
i was all ready to blame the defendant and then the pics came up . pictures will save u every time if u ever have to go to court .
I would hire that defendant to be my lawyer. Hands down one of the most convincing people on earth
No doubt. He even went as far as to cut out little pieces of paper, write numbers on them, and tape them to the front of his pictures.
White glove professionalism
Omg I was thinking the same thing!!! He was great.
And that ladies and gentlemen is how you prepare for a case. Defendant made the plaintiff look unprepared and ignorant. No proof of anything. He's mad he didn't get a bigger awning for free.
He didn’t notice the size of other awnings in neighborhood and thought his was same size. Don’t know how he figured measurements.
Exactly! People need to take notes of this episode about how to prepare for a case!
One thing I've learned from this episode: He lived there for 12 years.
😂🤣
😂😂😂
You sure? I though he lived there for 2 🤔
😂😂😂
🤣👎🏾

i love how the defemdant used the pictures from google earth, but the plaintiff didn't want to accept it because he feels it's wrong.
“But I’ve lived there for 12 years” 🤣🤣🤣
He lived there for 12 years!!! Rock solid proof 👌 diamond like.
Let's all take a shot whenever he says "I have lived there for 12 years" woo whoo!! 🍸 😅
BUSTED! The defendant was incredible presenting his defensive case. Wow!
This guy would argue with a brick wall
I wonder how long he’s even lived in that house.
I would guess 12 years
😂
actually, he said two different times, twelve years, and twenty five years
The defendant was on it!! As for the plaintiff living in his home for 12 years proved he never paid attention to his own owning. By the way 12 years living in a home is not a defense. 😂

@@marleonetti7 see saying that may have done wonders for himself. A very valid point.
That’s a good businessman

The defendant showed up ready to go
Plaintiff was 100% hallucinating, he imagined a size he never had. Defendant proved that was the correct size and the plaintiff still refused to accept the facts. I hope the whole neighborhood is laughing with this plaintiff
I just knew they would say, "this is the case of, size matters" 🤣🤣🤣
The defendant did an amazing job he should b a lawyer no doubt.
Defendant proves his case hands down!!!’
The defendant could be Dr. Pol brother. Also the plaintiff "lived in his house for 12 years "
.
The defendant came prepared!!👏🏼👏🏼
This plaintiff was completely out his mind lol. The prime example of a person who always feel they are right lol
One of the best defendants I’ve seen on here lol
The plaintiff didn't have one single photo of his own house, in 12 years! Then he should have gone on Google earth like the defendant did. Ha ha ha...
The defendant did a kick ass job with getting evidence! Even went back to the dump to get the old awning! Wow! Good on him!
Over & over, vendors make things waaaaaay harder by not including such basic info on w/O's: actual
Contracts 🤷 + MEASUREMENTS, Photos, SIGNATURES/upon acceptance, signed notices of the "fine details", Before & Afters ...

Talk about prepared! Good job.
The plaintiff was so sure he was right. I wonder how many years he has lived in that house. Does anybody know?
1 year?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would 100% go with the defendant for awning business
Good morning to all my fellow People's Court fans & friends!
Same to you Mrs Kelly. Hope you have a great day.
Good morning! 😊
Morning
Thank you and good morning to you

The proof is there and the judge agreed with the defendant because he had his proof the pictures of the awnings.
I am just like the defendant when it comes to getting evidence.
The defendant did everything right. The plaintive thinks he's right and he will not admit he was wrong. Glad the defendant won the case
He's got the smallest one on the block, that's why he's upset. Also why he stopped going to the gym. 😂
I don't know why he has to lie about it....but he has lived there 12 years😂😂😂
None is so blind as those who will not see.
It's so crazy how people can have evidence directly opposite of what they're saying and they still will not believe it.
Not perpetrating a fraud...giggle
"What do you think of the verdict?....I've lived in my house for 12 years".
This guy came hella prepared. Go him

plaintiffs wife had the same complaint. 12 inches short/not long enough.
He lived there for 12 years
PEOPLE ARE SO RIDICULOUS. 🤦🏾♀️ YOU'RE WRONG DUDE, GO AWAY!!! 😂
The plaintiff reminds me of Nigerian Michael from 90 day fiancé
The plaintiff is simply wanting something for for free .
Money fo nutin. Money fo nutin.
He didn’t realize his awning was smaller than neighbors from the get-go.
People needlessly lie about some of the strangest things
This defendant came preeepurreddddd 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Plaintiff is stupid. Defendant is an honest man that I would hire in a heartbeat!
Why do guys always exaggerate their measurements? 😆
If you thought his awning was big, you should see mine. It stretches all the way across the street to the neighbors can have shade too.
Awnings do shrink from being in the rain and snow 🤣😂🤪😎
"I was in the pool!!"
In 12 years time he never took a picture of his house? In 12 years he never saw that his neighbor has a deeper awning? When its fell it was his chance to have it replaced by a bigger one.
He obviously wanted a bigger awning for the same price
Not the, “I’ve lived there for 12 years” defense!
“I lived in my house for 12 years therefore all his proof, although accurate, is moot.”
Less than 10 minutes damn that was quick!
Plaintiff is lying. He wanted a bigger awning for free.
I've learned that when people believe something they will not believe the truth. even if the facts are there.
The plaintiff in the last case is delusional! Glad he lost.
I'm wondering how long the plaintiff lived in his current abode? 😎
I think I heard somewhere between 11 and 13 years.
🤔... um, let's see now... I'm thinking it's something like 12 years... 🤔... yup, pretty sure it was 12 years... I could be wrong, but... Plaintiff should have one because he lived in his house for 12 years.
He has all of this evidence against him and he is still saying no lmao
This case should have been over in < 5 mins. From the moment the plaintiff said he didn't have pictures, I'm screaming, just check Google maps/earth. No surprise the plaintiff said the old awning the defendant showed was not his. 🙄
Damn not the google earth picture 😂
He’s nuts!
One picture wouldn’t have helped the plaintiff. The defendant had the picture for him anyway.
I can't stand hearing the whistle at the end of defendant's sentences. Worse than gum smacking 😫
sir we looked at google earth!!! bye!!!! and yes I know you lived there for 12 years
12 years and he's never taken a picture of the front of his house?
He's lucky the guy didn't counter sue for having to go back to the dump and retrieve the old awning. Definitely worth a few hundred more for that trouble and I think JM would have awarded it.
He definitely should have. He mentioned how it scratched up his Tahoe
That’s dumb. He can’t sue for that. That’s his own negligence.
The plaintiff is delusional
I’m not sure but I think the plaintiff lived in the house for 12yrs😂

My awning is shorter than my neighbour's awning. Sounds very Freudian too me!!
😂🤣💀
