Unfortunately, this performance has utterly terrible German pronunciation. A native German cannot even understand most of what is being said. This added to the horrible mixing choices causes the orchestra to drown out the vocals, which is fine in this case because the orchestra is very lovely. The singers are very clearly talented, but the polish choir clearly does not know how to speak German and was given lines to read. A shame, because the energy in this performance is utterly lovely.
as a non german speaker, your thoughts means nothing to people like me. the music, choir and orchestra are brilliant. i didnt even watched the anime and listened the original version of this piece multiple times and to me they're nailed it perfectly.
@@xhumanwine It doesn't matter how it sounds when you don't speak the language. I can listen to a Ukrainian song and I can only judge it by its melody. The melody is useless when the performance in of itself is tainted thoroughly by the MOST IMPORTANT part of the opera, which is the vocalist performance. The orchestra? Sure, lovely. The vocalists? Talented. The actual performance of the piece? Utter garbage.
I’m thankful for anime I’ve heard so many good operas and ost thanks to it
I dunno what they're saying, but this sounds beautiful
Lowkey a banger 💥💥💥💥

Is this what Alucard listened to in the 40's before he embarked on operation "Kraut Control"?
Seems he missed a spot.
He lives 500 years. Very possible
@@larsuppling981 NAZI'S are like roaches...
