It's always great to see a video with Christoffer, the Internet's Favorite Bear. He's got one of those vibes that just immediately puts you in a state of calm.
If you don't want to get married, apart from a last will, you should consider getting a living will that states your wishes about medical care. If you're sick, at a hospital, unable to make decisions for youself and you want Christoffer to be able to made them for you, you should get the bureaucratic procedure done. Having your documents in order saves you lot of drama later.

The thing I really appreciate about Christoffer is that he never tries to „steal the show“. What I mean by that is that he supports you with everything you do but doesn‘t try to get all the attention or make it all about him like I see with other couples on TH-cam. Theres even partners that act like its their business and get into the spotlight when really they did not do jack shit hahah
My husband and I got married because we liked to have a symbolical ceremony where we say to each other (and to our family and friends) that we want to be together forever. To us it felt very special
Good answers on the dog. Our pooch Stella died recently. 15 years old. Lived a great life. We miss her of course. And she is buried in our olive field but with a walnut tree on her grave. She loved walnuts. Great video today. You guys are the best.
I agree with your thinking and being a realist about our pets and their lifetime. We give them the very very best we can..then we let them go when it's time. But we never let them out of our hearts.

Yay! Hi, you all!! I applaud your perspective about Grim - his quality of life and the respectful dispersing of his remains. Thank you both for your refreshing frankness and optimism 😉
I'm commenting before I've even watched the whole video. Kristoffer was so quiet in the beginning of our introduction to him in Cecilia's videos, that I couldn't get a read, and then he did something (I can't remember what it was), that made me howl with laughter. At that moment, I knew he was funny, and I get that that is Cecilia's favorite quality about him. 😍
I love how glowing Cecilia got when Christopher showed off the knife he made. They seem sincerely so impressed with each other's interests, and it's wonderful to see. All couples should strive to be like these 2.
Wonderfull as always! Christoffer is a lot like Finnish men: calm, easy, not a talkative but speaks as we ask, and a lot of time outside 😀Lots of greetings, Ulla from Liminka/Limingå, Finland
You are both delightful, and Grim is absolutely enchanting. I am so happy for both of you. It is such a treat for you to make these videos and indulge your viewers in various facets of your lives as individuals and also a couple. (That knife that Christoffer made is a work of art!) It is one of the reasons why I look forward to Sunday mornings and another charming and informative view of your lives. Thank you! Have a wonderful visit in Portugal and may Christoffer and Grim enjoy their time, as well.
Hope this helps but the storage/shop that you’re talking about would be called a workshop! That would make the most sense when explaining where Christoffer will work. 😊
Speaking of books, you would love “The Art of Racing in the Rain “ by Garth Stein speaking from his dog’s perceptive on his family falling apart. It is so well done - so thoughtful.
I loved hearing Christoffer’s approach to knife making- how you have to take a day to think and then sleep on it…. That’s how I’ve approached many sewing projects!
My husband and I had a 400 Euro marriage ceremony (including EVERYTHING, i.e. the fees at the state registry) and no banquet. And now I get to walk into any doctor's office and ask about his medical progress like it's MY business and ride the ambulance with him without begging the driver to take me along. It might not matter while you are 100% healthy, but changes quick with the first chronic illness.
Thank you for answering my question!! I think you are Christoffer are great partners as you are - no need to change things (like marriage). I'm an American in my mid-30's and don't see the point in marrying my long time partner. We aren't religious either. I'm glad to see that you and Christoffer can explain that to others and be yourselves about it. No need to hide who you are. So glad you're all happy and healthy. Grim has great parents
@@PhDnursepractitionerAGACNP-BC WHAT?! Awesome. Glad to assist. Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. So, if anyone has suggestions, I’m here for it!
One option for the half marathon to help keep your legs from dying in the last miles is to try run/walk intervals. I've used them in full marathons (26.2 miles or 42.1 km) where I was undertrained and it helped push the pain point much later in the race, without actually slowing my overall time that much. Try 5 min run/ 1 min walk and see how that feels (but you could really do whatever). You're pretty fit overall I think, so doing that could help a lot. It does take some discipline, especially early when you feel so energized.
Have fun at your parents in Portugal! I’m a first generation American but my entire family is from Portugal and it’s always great to go back and see family! I just went in December and hope to be back next year again. Amo Portugal 🇵🇹 ❤
In respect to Grim…we have an Aussie Shepherd whose lifespan should have been at the most 12-15 years…he’s now on his 18th year, so we are now considering him immortal. He definitely is living his best life (he was a rescue from the pound). So you just never know. He eats well, is given good supplements and goes to the dog park nearly everyday for exercise…he LOVES playing with any dogs bigger than him! 😊. Grim seems to live a good life too, so don’t be surprised if he lives well beyond his normal lifespan. He looks so happy and well-cared for!!! 😊😊😊 Love seeing your lives from afar. I’m a warm weather gal, but would love to see Svalbard at some point as it looks so beautiful.
The first video a watched with you guys was the video "Close Polar Bear encounter". I think it was right before or right after Aftonbladet eller Expressen did an article about you. Your addition build to the cabin, Christofer working at the "lager" and you kind of struggled with the covid restrictions. I kind of think you saved my sanity during this lock down period of the pandemic. It has been a joy following you, seeing the channel grow and the two of you thrive in this region. You have achieved so much n these few years and i still love to follow you two. So down to earth, funny, exciting and so good ambassadors for the arctic life. Thank you, both of you for sharing your life that is so different but still so present in the moment, it feels normal to all of us around the world. Sweden and Norway, and Finland of course, is called Arctic countries, but that is nothing compared to the raw Svalbard. I hope you keep sharing your life for years to come. Thank you Cecilia, Christoffer and the fluff Grim.

I loved the laughing in relation to the marriage question, and Christoffer getting everything. I can say I got married because of economics, but I find it amusing that a lot of people still ask you and a multitude of others 'when'. It seems some people cannot get their heads around the 'not married' lifestyle without commenting. Would love to see the knife making video, if it gets done.
My favourite thing about my husband is his goofiness I even said it was in my wedding vows, he makes my laugh everyday. I think making people laugh is giving them such a wonderful gift. Laughing has been such a huge part of my life and I honestly can't imagine a person who doesn't have a sense of humour and it not being part of their everyday life.

I have 4 Sunday channels I watch every week. I love your content and have fallen in love with Svalbard through the two of you. Meanwhile one of my 9 yo Weimeraners has been sick for about 3 days. If she isnt better tomorrow we call our vet. She has spinal arthritis and takes gabapentin as needed, which she needed this morning. Then she got sick just now and we are giving Pepcid. Weims average 10 years old. And we are older and less active, so we see how this effects them. We love them so much, but my head, retired RN, is getting ready, just in case. So pray for my girl tonight for a sudden recovery. We have had them since 12 weeks old and they are from the same litter. We married, me at 44 and him 40, and they are truly our babies.

Cecilia, I loved the Q&A video you did! I hope you had a lovely time visiting your parents in Portugal. Your views on faith and marriage could possibly change with the passage of time. Love to see your life in Svalbard via your videos. ❤
I love the description of delusions and how we think we can do something that seems so out of our reach! And then sometimes we do deliver even when we haven’t prepped correctly. 😂
Hahaha right?! One success keeps the dilusions alive 😂
I'm an American in my mid-30's and don't see the point in marrying my long time partner. We aren't religious either. I'm glad to see that you and Christoffer can explain that to others and be yourselves about it. No need to hide who you are. So glad you're all happy and healthy. Grim has great parents
OMG! All the Light We Cannot See is one of my favorite books, EVER!
@@PhDnursepractitionerAGACNP-BC WHAT?! Awesome. Glad to assist. Historical Fiction is my favorite genre. So, if anyone has suggestions, I’m here for it!
Oh! That was THE best book ever. I loved it so much.
@@PhDnursepractitionerAGACNP-BC Nice to meet you, too. It’s always nice to meet another avid reader.
@@PhDnursepractitionerAGACNP-BCgreetings 👋 from Poland 🇵🇱 and rural life channel 😊
I look forward to your videos every Sunday.
Christoffer the kinda guy you want to have a beer with you guys rock
I love how animated and excited Christoffer was talking about his knife-making!! So nice to see! 😄
Ok woooow on the knife! He needs to make an Etsy page to sell them. It’s beautiful!
I love your videos on Sundays. I love the energy, very relaxed and not fake. This it, I love how normal you and Christoffer are, you have great energy between you ❤so lovely to watch. Love from Ireland
I actually think that you look so good without makeup.
We made our shipping container into our shop.
They can be so affordable here.
Thanks for all the great videos.
I am literally not even a minute in & I can say you guys would be AMAZING parents. Your lifestyle wouldn't have to change at all to welcome a baby into your world.
I absolutely love you guys. You're so good together. 🥰
I wish I had your organisational skills though Cecilia, you must be so disciplined about everything. I'm sure Grim will miss you whilst you're in Portugal, he's such a wonderful dog. We all love the Grimster!! 🐶🐈❤
Finally we are no longer bored watching yt, you guys are so inspirational.
Love your videos Cecilia! Nice to see Christopher more and more in the videos and hugs and scratches to Grim❤❤
I've just started watching your videos. I'm so jealous of the life you get to live. And you two seem to be a perfect balance for each other. Brim is such a good doggies 🐕
It was fun to see Christoffer get animated over the knife work. You can see that it brings him joy.
Oh I am about to make some coffee and go downstairs by the jacuzzi and watch this while enjoying my coffee! Yassssssssssssss!!!!
Maybe you should consider making videos twice as long because everytime the video is coming to an end i wanna crrryyyyyyy. Love wachting your videos soooo much. Don‘t need anything else on my screen 🩵 you have such a good vibe!
Best greetings from germany 🩵
💗💗💗💗
Christoffer is truly a renaissance man- this was such a fun video! Oh, and the knife/sheath is so, so, so beautiful!!
I just love the two of you together- thanks for sharing your life with us!
Christoffer is so talented!
Has Christopher always been this calm and laid back; or, is he more so now since Cecelia does most of the talking? Do you guys worry about anything? It always looks like Christopher is thinking all the time. I adore you guys...perfect balance. Ying/yang.
Great question and answer video! Again love Christoffer's chill vib answering questions! ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it! 😍
I wasn't expecting to cry to today...but then you started talking about Grim. 😭
I hope that you all continue to live your best lives and to the fullest
I am a new subscriber! I so appreciated this question & answer. Love your channel! Your such a Beautiful couple🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
I love how Christopher opened up more. I can tell he is so happy to have his stuff in his man cave and organized. Plus he is in the perfect “creative process” when making his knives!!! That is his art and his process is his alone and perfect for him. ❤❤❤ “sleep on it a little bit…”. I can relate!!
Cecilia and Christopher! Always a great start to my Sunday mornings.
I love Christopher's calm, cool demeanor. He appears very content with his life and love.
It's been a while since we've had a qna. Happy to be here! 😁
Portland OR here, slightly in the woods, originally from Washington state near the Canadian BC border. Your cabin and vibe reminds me of how beautiful and serene Northern Washington state used to be, growing up in the mountains. (The economy makes it too challenging to live in more remote areas now) I love having espresso with you every Sunday 💛
Christopher's knives are gorgeous! Beautiful craftsmanship! 😍
It’s so fun to see as you both work together you and Christoffer getting more chatty and comfortable on screen! He used to be more quiet but I see what you mean the more he talks the more I see he is so funny!
I just recently found out i am 30% Swedish. I love that thought. ❤ (the music of the 70’s and 80’s is THE BEST)
If you live where you love (&are making it work) and your partner keeps you fed that’s all you need ! No explanation necessary !❤
I love Q&A day!
If Christoffer ever decides to make kitchen knives, I'd buy one! :)
Marianna
Same here!
You are the first vlogger i started following ❤ so happy to see your channel grow over the past several years! You and Christoffer have put Svalbard on the map!
