I bring the game TIME Stories to different groups since I’ve already gone through the storyline, and I act as the game master. We play without restarting the entire game but still read the failure cards. I’m not sure how it works with expansions, but with the base game, it’s the perfect solution, making this game simply the best gaming experience (especially for newcomers to the world of board games)
We also ignored the "restart" rule but the game still felt clunky. T.I.M.E. Stories Revolution supposedly streamlined the gameplay, but by that point I wasn't interested. Glad you enjoyed it!

My group personaly loves 2 rooms but we also primary play social deduct so maybe that's why lol
