- This was for a college project. I'm embarrassed of the quality because I've improved and matured a lot since I made this, but it's far enough in the past now that I can live with it. I now storyboard for a living, so thats cool!

Glad you reloaded the video. I wouldn't have discovered this amazing piece of work if not for all the persistent re-uploads I've been seeing of it c: I find it sad that artists, just because they're not in a fandom anymore or because their works have improved over time they feel the need to get rid of their old stuff. But the way I see it, old projects are a placements of vital and important stepping stones for improvement and it's a way to look back at where we as artists came from in the first place. Anyways sorry for all that, just wanted to toss my two cents in. But yeah and also congrats on being a full time storyboard artist!! If you ever have the time to, come back on TH-cam! I'd love to see how much you've improved since a decade ago! c:

Also I think I spotted a Hunter from Left 4 Dead, a Headcrab Zombie from Half-Life, and... Abraham Lincoln zombie? Wha?

Strangely enough I'm pretty sure there's an Adventure Time reference at 0:35 but Adventure Time first aired in 2010 and this was uploaded in 2009. Weird. Though the initial pilot episode for Adventure Time was created in 2007.

Jian Costa I would guess funding conflicts, and, would suggest alternative funding by small investors for a percentage of future earnings! Maybe as a movie length production, it might attract more interest and, money, maybe even from a big corporation. I could see this as a series, maybe a sit com, even, with Bob, and the zombies chasing Tom across a post apocalyptic landscape, but, never catching him!
Recently discovered Jonathan Coulton and this great song. Score! Then I found your illustrated version. DOUBLE score! I can't wait to show it to everyone I know. Thank you so much for sharing it. You made my day.

That REALLY didn't help him much, did it?! His main fault was HE WAS A DUMB ASS! NEVER TRUST A ZOMBIE, especially one intelligent enough to produce a presentation presenting his proposal to you, why its in YOUR interest that you should allow him and the rest of the zombies to eat your brains, all the time neglecting the fact that you're using it(not so much in Tom's case!), and, THAT'S GONNA HURT LIKE A MUDDERFUGGAH, GETTING IT! Zombies, I have a counterproposal, leave me alone, and, come in, one at a time, and, I'll deal with you each, one on one, to solve the disparity in our viewpoints. Which means, I'll blast the head off each zombie that enters the room, and, make a run for it, swinging my bat/empty rifle all the way! Any zombie NOT in my direct path to freedom/my car in the parking lot, is, at present, a GOOD ZOMBIE, who doesn't merit ANY hostile action, whatsoever, at present!

I knew those fictional zombie books, movies and games were just fiction. Lol the fact this song is in the left 4 dead game where the characters actually know how to kill zombies due to the movies, books, and video games based around zombies.

One, the doctor who references were awesome. Two, I absolutely LOVED the art! The expressions were easy to read and the detail was very well done. Good bodily posture and I simply loved how Bob was drawn. Easy to replicate, but not boring. Loveable, and still scary like a zombie should be.
This is probably my favorite video for this song. You should totally keep working on it!

Apparently, Bob didn't break his neck with that guitar-uppercut, but, only because he didn't want to damage them. Also, with MOST of his brains, Tom is another member of his Zombie Army, able to con other humans into opening up the doors, you idiot! If I'd come out that door, I'd do so, shooting, and, after exhausting my ammo, swinging at any zombie even close.
I like your style can't wait to see a finished version!

This is very, very well done! My favourite is the ASL version of the song, which I'm sure you've seen. But this is easily second on the list and I'd love to see a fully realised, fully animated version. The art is simply wonderful.

I think the story in the description was that this was for a collage class, and it was longer than it needed to be. I think after all this time if it was going to be finished, it would have. Sorry to say, but hell it's still pretty great.
