Just great to see someone from a gym working the deep neck flexors - they get missed all the time! Completely agree with what he's saying. I'm a New Zealand physio. We use a stronger version of the standing against the wall exercise - you might find it a useful variation. Warm up the same, then lie on your back, tuck the chin in in the same way and hold it in, then lift the head a finger's width off the ground and hold it 10 seconds. Sounds easy and it's not. Build it up until you can do 10 in a row, in perfect form. This may take you weeks. There's a video of me teaching it on our website - just Google 'Backpod.' Cheers, Steve August.

Hey, Carter! Thanks! I'm really impressed you'd already picked up on this yourself. It normally gets missed. I've seen so many built patients who've worked really hard on everything else, but they still walk around looking like Neanderthals instead of Greek gods because they don't add in this one exercise also. I've got a thing about hunching - it's the biggest upper spinal problem in these days of laptops, tablets and smartphones. There's a whole New Zealand website on it - www.backpod.co.nz. Cheers, Steve August.

Great video. I saw a bunch of neck workout videos that where showing people that strengthen by doing head rolls on the ground. A lot of neck excersizes should not consist of you putting your weight onto your neck and doing stretches. Very dangerous, your workout is a easy routine and will show results and you won't have to worry about harming your neck from ground exercises. Thanks for a good video.

It is very annoying and most of my days are just terrible.I am hoping adding tthis to my routine workout is going to help clear things
