great video, ty for your service. as much as I loved AC2 back in the day I remember being super frustrated by the missions seemingly ALWAYS reaching a point where some janky shit happens and you get caught.
Heeeeyyy! Thanks. Wasn't able to play AC2 when it first released since I didn't have a PC/console at that time. But I think the game is more consistent now.
@@Dutchvanderl1nde ironically historical wise the “viking” are a bit more stealthy than what the media depicted them to be, in fact some of the most famous Scandinavian hero from the Icelandic sagas are p much stealthy
@@Dutchvanderl1nde but yeah that’s understandable because how influential the fantasy barbarian and “vIkInG” from 80s video game. Didn’t mention the weird pseudo-historical suppa dubba inaccurate shows like “Vikings” shape our today’s misinterpretation of what the Viking age Scandinavian really like.
Good idea! Now it’s easier for me if I want to ghost I now know sich games are better for this. Perhaps I could think about it myself but you made some pretty good points while talking about each game. Thank you!
No way bro put AC syndicate below AC unity 1) Syndicate has more blackbox missions 2) the cover system is far better than Unity's 3) the kidnapping feature is a welcome addition that opens up many ways to ghost a mission 4) the "cherry bomb" in unity is actually broken. Its supposed to be a sound based tool but it only works if you directly throw it in front of an enemy. Syndicate doesn't work like that. The whistling feature works perfectly fine. 5) the rope launcher, although controversial, is really great for ghosting 6) and this must only be me, but I really prefer the eagle vision in syndicate than unity. I prefer my targets to stay tagged. 7) the ability to pickup bodies is simple yet effective. Its once again a welcome feature which helps in cleaning up a place in order to not get the enemies suspicious of your presence (again "ghosting")
Good points! I guess I failed to mention the ghosting rules that I always apply on my runs which are 1. Target only kills 2. No detection. 3. Minimal tool usage (better if I don't use any tools at all) Also, while KOs are technically ok for ghosting, I don't like doing them. It's subjective but it's just my head canon that ghosting should be like as if a 'ghost' went through the level and KO'd guards will eventually wake up and realize that someone was there.
As somebody who got reintroduced to the Ac games in year 2022, my first game was Ac Valhalla. I actually enjoyed ghosting in that game a lot once I discovered that you can do stealth in enemy bases instead of the usual raid em with your crew and combat it all the way through. I was actually shocked seing that most hated Valhalla's Stealth while there I was at the time having fun with it. But I guess now I do understand the hate tho.
Unpopular opinion. Ac rogue is A Tier imo. Almost all Gang liberation and outpost raid side missions can be ghost stealth, Not only that first two main target assassinations can be ghost stealth like hitman, especially Washington mission, you can complete that mission by only using social stealth. The level design also provides a different style of play style and multiple routes
Agree with this. Rogue and Black Flag are ghostable--great even for a pacifist playstyle. But I placed them in the middle because of the 'too open' level design. Valhalla suffers the same. Just compare them to the black box missions in Syndicate and Unity; along with the unique opportunities available. Also I think it's important to note (and something I should've said at the beginning of the video) -- 1/ when ghosting I prefer to use less tools as possible, none is even better. 2/ KOs are ok but I prefer not too also.

Valhalla stealth is hella underrated
Aint no way you said that

@@TheMaudethone more thing you forget to add in. Without you Unity you never get syndicate.
Odyssey and Origins are WAY more ghostable if you do them in NG+
Agree 100%. But I was basing this on a base new game. If we include NG+, Odyssey will be higher

Mirage stealth for me was the best and the only one one that works perfectly as you want it to
what i dislike is some of the RPG elements

great video.
Finally a TH-camr who has a brain and consider Valhalla stealth to be among the top.!
Son of a gun he actually made the video
What is bro doing at the start 💀🙏
Yeah Same Question 💀
Unity and mirage
AC games have many forced combat sequences and Ghosting kinda sucks.
The Start 💀
First
Ac games are terrible for ghosting
