Here is ranking fav to least fav. 1. Origins 2. AC 2 3. Brotherhood 4. Ac 3 5. Ac black flag 6. Revelations 7. Ac 1 8. Rogue 9. Syndicate 10. Unity 11. Oddssey I have yet to play vahalla. :)
Just revisiting the series for the first time in years, trying to catch-up. I think once I finish the Ezio collection and black flag, I will check out Mirage as it seems like a cool return to form. Then maybe Syndicate or Origins after that
I love Odyssey. I wanted that time period for a long time, it’s a gorgeous game. But the fact that you can choose your own narrative loses it points in my mind. Assassin’s Creed is supposed to be the “real history” of what happened. How can this be “real history” if everyone gets a different game? It’s such a fundamental misunderstanding of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Honestly, Odyssey feels like another company bought Ubisoft and started making Assassin’s Creed games. It’s good, but just sticks out like a sore thumb. Like it was made by people who don’t really like or know Assassin’s Creed.
Assassin’s Creed II, III, & Black Flag are all perfect 10/10 games in my opinion. II is the greatest game of all time, perfectly constructed, no fat. Gripping narrative. III: How often does your favorite game of all time, get a sequel where it’s set in one of your favorite time periods to learn about, and the main character shares your name? I am VERY personally attached to this game, but if I HAVE to rank them, III has more slow sections than II or Black Flag. IV: Arguably the most unique game I’ve ever played. The pirate aspect of this game gives it an almost unfair advantage on the rest of the games in the series.
You might be the only person I've seen give praise to AC3. On release that game had a lot of problems, mainly bugs, and while Connor may play well, the storyline got real frustrating at times due to how he felt like a whiny teenager most of the time.
I think part of it is context as well. For example, I was probably a whiny teenager myself when AC3 released, so *most of* Connor's behavior never bothered me. My biggest problem with the story isn't Connor, it's that he's shoehorned into a bunch of historic moments that don't feel particularly personal. The sequences he has with Haytham are the best parts of the game. I only recall one big bug on my PS3, which was that no matter what it wouldn't let me complete the last fort on the frontier, so I couldn't get the trophy. Regardless, I'm always happy to praise AC3. I've seen a lot of hate for it over the years, but it's never soured my thoughts on it. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I thought I might disagree with you based on the thumbnail but I'm almost completely with you... And btw loved me some Odyssey 😅, gonna play it again tomorrow with the ultimate upgrade 😁
25:46 For the people that don't know, you need to do those cafe theatre missions and renovate the building to increase income and chest capacity. max income is 10k per 10min ig easy money and coop missions give good money too...at the beginning even I thought medicine was overpriced. 25:22 Yea this definitely aint the game for direct combat, you'll get run over for sure when surrounded by 10 enemies, smoke bomb and stealth killing is the best option and the game does those kind of things well If u consider those the game might be atleast B tier..
1. Assassin’s Creed II 2. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag 3. Assassin’s Creed III 4. Assassin’s Creed: Origins 5. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood 6. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey 7. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue 8. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations 9. Assassin’s Creed: Unity 10. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate 11. Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry 12. Assassin’s Creed 13. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation 14. Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines I haven’t played Mirage or Valhalla yet. Vikings never interested me that much, so when I heard even the hardcore fans saying that game dragged on forever….
To be honest the tier list is fair everybody have a different taste of game but I do have mixed feelings about this list like AC1, odyssey and valhalla should be at c tier don't get me wrong three of them are good games of they own AC1 is better then both of them since it's not too long to finish it and odyssey is better then valhalla when it comes to story in my opinion and let's be real odyssey and valhalla are not assassin's creed games without the assassin's and templars conflict against each other and both games did success in sales but it did not stop it for getting backlash from most AC fans and for unity it's a S tier to me because how funny it is and I was fortunate to not have bugs or glitches in the game and I understand the story is not the best but it's good enough for me like it so great video
Not to be a dick, but aside from glitches, the story, the overcrowded map, being shot without warning and the cherry bomb weirdly enough being a line of sight tool (only working when the guards you wanna lure away can see the cherry bomb going off), everything else basically comes down to it being a skill or approach issue. If you get better at those things or approach them differently, your opinion might change. Other than that, great in depth video. Earned a sub
Thanks for the support! And I will admit, I am not the most skilled player. After upgrading my weapons to allow for ever-so-slightly better parry windows and realizing I should be cheesing enemies more than usual, I did enjoy the game more. The Dead Kings DLC was genuinely enjoyable. I had money, high-level gear, level 3 lockpicking and most other skills, etc. Once you unlock everything the game is more fun to play. The problem I had was not enjoying the game until I unlocked enough stuff. It felt like the fun was locked behind later progression. Combine that with my mid-tier gameplay skills and the mostly unimaginative main mission design and it just wasn't for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! I plan to eventually go back and do more side quests and endgame stuff. So maybe in the next tier list (w/ Shadows, Chronicles, etc. added) I'll have some different thoughts on the game. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
Really liked your ranking. Maybe AC 3 would be lower in mine, but the rest is cool and I agree with your order. Really love Rogue, it's a refined version of Black Flag. Odyssey is simply astonishing. And Syndicate is one of the best AC games.
What normal people see: Assassin's creed Valhalla What most ac fans see: viking dude with a hidden blade's creed: valhalla Either way, i liked the game
I wouldn’t put Assassins creed 2 in S tier. It didn’t really go all that much into taking things into a new direction at all. It just expanded on what the first one offered and cleaned up some things. Still absolutely great game, i’d just have it in “A” alongside brotherhood. Realistically the only one i would put in “S tier” is Black flag… as that changed it up quite a bit and did a FANTASTIC job. The ship battles, the fact your just a. pirate who stumbled into the assassins and you just help them because your goals align. I like that and it displays how the assassins absolutely outsourced, as any organization like there’s would at times. Though i also quite liked “Rouge” as My home province is in the game 😅 Was the first area i 100% in the game LOL
You know, I've had another person in the comments give similar feedback about AC2 being overhyped and Black Flag belonging in S tier. And honestly...maybe. If I do an expanded tier list next year after Shadows and everything...it's possible some titles might change tiers. Possible! Regardless, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
Who gives a shit if ac2 didn’t reinvent the wheel. A sequel is supposed to improve on the original. God you people are too obsessed with innovation. Tbh, if u want a game to change so badly, then maybe you just don’t t like it bro. People who truly love something would never want it to change.
I actually enjoy Valhalla more then any of the new games (ac3 my favorite) because of the money worth and just how much i saw my progress in the game. I enjoyed exploring and raiding with the vikings and it was just fun upgrading the settlement as well.
Wouldn't that be Valhalla? You have medieval England, Ireland, and France to explore with the DLCs. It's not perfect, but it scratches that itch for me.

It's a an odd series to jump into since almost every game is completely different: different characters, time periods, locations, game mechanics, etc. If you like big open-world games I recommend starting with AC Origins, AC Syndicate, or Black Flag. If you like more linear games I'd start with AC1, AC2, or Mirage. Of course, Odyssey is my favorite open world, but it's also the least Assassin's-Creed-y game in the series. lol Thanks for watching!
Ac brotherhood play so much better then 2 replaying it again it didn’t feel how it feel when I play it when I was younger but once I got to brotherhood the mechanics was a lil better
I playe AC 1&2 and stopped playing it mainly because I started a family therefore zero time. I started it up again in lockdown with Odyssey then origins, Valhalla and mirage. Origins is my favourite out of the new ones. But my all time fav is AC2. But I tried playing the games in between but I’m struggling to enjoy them having played the open world ones they feel limited in comparison.
Finally someone actually thinks that AC syndicate is great! Because if you really think about it, it's a better version of AC unity. The stealth is WAY better, combat is decent, parkour is decent and a bit challenging from times, all of the missions are fun especially the black box missions, I love London this game And this is the only AC game that you can play as a dual assassin. Sure some AC games are better, that I can agree with. But for some reason AC syndicate is my favourite AC game. (And Yes you should move syndicate to S or make an A+ teir since it's your top 5 fav AC game lol)

My favorite S tier are AC 1 the only original and so authentic, Syndicate... Love the characters and old London! Valhalla awesome combats and stealth, beautiful environment, female Eivor represents very well tall, strong nordic women, Odyssey... Very good and Chasandra is great character
Not gonna lie. I would love if you included Assassin's creed Chronicles and Nexus, because I so heavily enjoyed Nexus. It was the game that for me felt the most like Assassin's creed game in a long time. It has a few problems. Mainly about replayability, because many missions, are quite linear. But even if you didn't wanted to play it again, you will get about 14 hours long AC game. Which i would say is a lot for a VR game. Now to the rankings. Sure I am disappointed with some rankings. Well most of them, but I am at least glad you put AC Rogue and 3 so high. Usually they are sadly underappreciated. (My favourite game is Brotherhood, though)
AC1 is better than most people think. Best combat and parkour in the series. Much more to combat than attack and counter. Slow climbing doesn't matter most of the time because there are ways to avoid it when not climbing a viewpoint. I recommend anyone to watch some tutorials on these things then give it another go.
@@sensoeirensen No, not really. The one thing that people rightfully complain about is the repetitiveness and they have done it since it was released. Every other complaint I hear about AC1 comes from lack of skill in the game because it doesn't teach you half the things you can do

Me personally I'd move 3 to C teir Move Black Flag and Brotherhood to S And drop Unity to Unity Teir because i was there at launch and immediately refunded it
LOL I agree that Unity should probably be D tier (F tier at launch), however the cityscape and free Dead Kings DLC is what elevates it to C for me. I could see Black Flag in S easily. Brotherhood maybe. I still think 3 is better than folks give it credit for. But hey, that's just me! Thanks for watching!
@Kanaju Oh don't take it the wrong way. Everyone enjoys games differently. For me I didn't enjoy 3 as much as everyone else. It was too long and tedious IMHO. Black Flag was a big deal for me because I was at Basic Training when it released and was the first game I played when I eventually had some freedom at my first base. Also Pirate theme was so damn good it bumps it at least 1 letter grade automatically. Brotherhood is just nostalgia bait for me and was my first full introduction to the series.

At 8:49 why did you get so close to the byzantine soldiers when you can just use the poison darts from a distance. Great video though.
The Tombs and Catacombs of Revelations were my favourite part of Revelations after the story, and is also one of the reasons Revelations is my favourite AC game.
Great vid!
Great video! Origins is my personal favorite, I’ve been able to replay and 100% the game at least 6-7 times, got it day 1, first game I’ve ever pre ordered, absolute gem of a game
Origins was boring 🥱 it put me to sleep 😴 a few times. Repetitive lol
@@Cali_79 ^yeah
You're wrong about Odyssey being S tier. Large scope = large bloat. Was a good game, but doesn't rate S tier. High B maybe.
@@kevinleach2584 agreed origin is better than odyssey.
Its his opinion tho, ac odyssey makes a lot of stuff better where origins failed
Tier lists are subjective. I think Odyssey is a solid A tier, despite being bloated. The world is just amazing, and the gameplay is fun - can't ask for much more than that.
fantastic video good work!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Congrats on getting this out! 🎉
Thanks! 😅 It's been WAY too long in the making. Thanks for your support!
Just finished watching the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can definitely tell you enjoy the series and put a lot of thought into this video. This is the first time I've watched any of your videos but you're definitely getting a like and a subscribe from me. Also as a fellow NMS enjoyer, I'll certainly be making my way through your videos! Keep up the good work!
Little late but great vid brother!
Genius Video Keep up the brilliant Videos
Thank you, FlyingSpaghettiMonsterBeliever.
As someone who did get to play Brotherhood multiplayer back in the day, it was so sick, I wish they'd bring it back
Just subbed, great video 👍
I'm glad finally someone puts some respect on AC3 and Origins in the same video, and says the truth about Unity.
Anyway I like you spoke well about Valhalla and Odyssey too, even if they're not AC
Great video 👏
I didn’t agree with hardly any of this. But I watched the whole thing and enjoyed hearing your opinion. Keep up the good work my friend, we love the content.
I really love this video. I watched all the way through. I liked and subbed and I will watch your city videos. Fantastic content 💪
Here is ranking fav to least fav.
1. Origins
2. AC 2
3. Brotherhood
4. Ac 3
5. Ac black flag
6. Revelations
7. Ac 1
8. Rogue
9. Syndicate
10. Unity
11. Oddssey
I have yet to play vahalla. :)
I don't even play assasins creed atleast not before this video Thanks KANAJU ! Great video i can tell you put alot of time and effort and it shows!
counterpoint on Cappadocia: it looks sick as hell
Just revisiting the series for the first time in years, trying to catch-up. I think once I finish the Ezio collection and black flag, I will check out Mirage as it seems like a cool return to form. Then maybe Syndicate or Origins after that
P.S. The ship combat in AC3 - and hunting Man-O-Wars - was some of the most fun I've had in a video game. Ever.
Played valhalla when it came out thinking it would be an assassins creed game, but i was so bored. Felt like I was playing god of war.
That's the perfect tier list, W
🥂😎
Perfect for someone who doesn’t understand ac.
Great vid! I am so ridiculously biased towards believing that AC2 is the best AC entry every hahahah
love ur videos
Great tier list ! I enjoyed AC movie😂
Great list and I am happy with this. I just put AC 4 in the S tier that's it.❤
I thought I might disagree with you based on the thumbnail but I'm almost completely with you... And btw loved me some Odyssey 😅, gonna play it again tomorrow with the ultimate upgrade 😁

For the people that don't know, you need to do those cafe theatre missions and renovate the building to increase income and chest capacity. max income is 10k per 10min ig easy money and coop missions give good money too...at the beginning even I thought medicine was overpriced.
25:22
Yea this definitely aint the game for direct combat, you'll get run over for sure when surrounded by 10 enemies, smoke bomb and stealth killing is the best option and the game does those kind of things well
If u consider those the game might be atleast B tier..
Perfect rating for Syndicate IMO. Not an S-tier game, but it's dang good.
"i don't think unity is a great game" is CRAZY WORK.
1. Assassin’s Creed II
2. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
3. Assassin’s Creed III
4. Assassin’s Creed: Origins
5. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
6. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey
7. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue
8. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations
9. Assassin’s Creed: Unity
10. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate
11. Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry
12. Assassin’s Creed
13. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation
14. Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines
I haven’t played Mirage or Valhalla yet. Vikings never interested me that much, so when I heard even the hardcore fans saying that game dragged on forever….
Holy w on that Origins take
To be honest the tier list is fair everybody have a different taste of game but I do have mixed feelings about this list like AC1, odyssey and valhalla should be at c tier don't get me wrong three of them are good games of they own AC1 is better then both of them since it's not too long to finish it and odyssey is better then valhalla when it comes to story in my opinion and let's be real odyssey and valhalla are not assassin's creed games without the assassin's and templars conflict against each other and both games did success in sales but it did not stop it for getting backlash from most AC fans and for unity it's a S tier to me because how funny it is and I was fortunate to not have bugs or glitches in the game and I understand the story is not the best but it's good enough for me like it so great video
@@Kanaju totally get where you're coming from. Hope you like it more the next time.
Really enjoying your city rankings btw
Really liked your ranking. Maybe AC 3 would be lower in mine, but the rest is cool and I agree with your order. Really love Rogue, it's a refined version of Black Flag. Odyssey is simply astonishing. And Syndicate is one of the best AC games.
@@Ro_Morgen oh yeah sure, the game with restrictive parkour is the best ac game.
What normal people see: Assassin's creed Valhalla
What most ac fans see: viking dude with a hidden blade's creed: valhalla
Either way, i liked the game
The only flaw AC origins has is the grind for crafting materials XD
Really wished we had a medieval Europe assassins creed game
Wouldn't that be Valhalla? You have medieval England, Ireland, and France to explore with the DLCs. It's not perfect, but it scratches that itch for me.
@@Kanaju a game more like the start of assassins creed unity the first 7 min into the game it would’ve honestly made a good game as a whole
@@basicz223 a game based on Thomas de Carneillion story. Dismantling the public façade of the Templars at the beginning of XIV century in France. That would be so sick. Too bad the France card has already been played
Assassin's Creed is one of those games I've always wanted to get into but didn't know where to start, this video will be very helpful, thanks
I can get origins for 9$ flat rn on epicgames is it worth it everyone?
Finally someone who does AC 3 JUSTICE, the AC 2 glazing needs to cease
Saying ac odyssey is s tier is actually wild but it's your opinion bro
You should make a video talking about shadows and you opinions on what's been shown/talked about already
Nobody likes Shadows. Reception in Japan is bad too, all their socials are getting down votes, ratiod and commented outta oblivion, hopefully Ubisoft responds to fans without calling the the usual isms & ists
@@AlloyXXVIIIyou live in a weird echo chamber of manufactured ragebait and cynicism.
I was a young man once too. I get it, but it doesn’t have to be that way, man. You can get out of there. You can just enjoy things if they tickle your fancy. It’s alright.
I’m excited for shadows and I know a lot of people that are too.
@@PensFan35 "lol" at like to dislike ratio on all of their TH-cam videos, but have at denial & personal insults, whatever makes you feel better.
I'm also 32 😂😂
@@AlloyXXVIII People in japan mostly dont give a f*ck. You are influenced by the haters too much, just cuz they dont like it doesnt mean you have to copy their opinion. Shadows has potential to be one of the best ac games, and further leaks just prove that. Take the map as an example
My favorite S tier are AC 1 the only original and so authentic, Syndicate... Love the characters and old London! Valhalla awesome combats and stealth, beautiful environment, female Eivor represents very well tall, strong nordic women, Odyssey... Very good and Chasandra is great character
I would only swap 3 and Black Flag, and put Brotherhood much higher :) but other than that pretty spot on :)
AC1 WAS better than most people think. If you play it today its rly bad. Unlike AC2.
@@sensoeirensen No, not really. The one thing that people rightfully complain about is the repetitiveness and they have done it since it was released. Every other complaint I hear about AC1 comes from lack of skill in the game because it doesn't teach you half the things you can do
@@sensoeirensen maybe cos ac2 got a rerelease but visually Ac1 is just objectively better because it doesn't have to worry about a day night cycle.
@@loukianosprotoWhats your ranking of the games? I always enjoy hearing from another AC1 enjoyer and I almost completely disagree with this guy's rankings.
Yeah Ac1 below rogue? Brotherhood below Valhalla?? Black flag below syndicate????
I disagree with pretty much most of this but I enjoyed watching this I like seeing how different everyone’s rankings are, I’m just glad to finally find someone else who also thinks Unity is one of the worst lol
You lost me at Odyssey. Don't really agree on newer RPG era AC games, though AC Origins is def in my top 5 as well. the best out of bunch. And i like the fact that you do like AC III, it is underrated game for sure, not TOP game, but a good one. Anyhow i liked your video, sort of down to earth, really normal, friendly voice over. love to see it !
kislux versace bag is so cute
I love odyssey a lot except for the disgusting story
odyssey is the best action rpg game , i enjoyed the fight
$40 for dawn of ragnarok when shadow of the erdtree was $40. Whether you hate Elden Ring or not is beside the point…..but which one is more ambitious for the price point.
Saying unity's stealth is bad is a very controversial comment to say... Unity is well known for it's stealth mechanics. Totally disagree with your comment.
I was done as soon as you put revelations in c and liberation above it. Then you start praising syndicate the only game from the original franchise that I got too bored to finish.
*Bloodlines slept on every time*
Horrible take Odyssey and Valhalla out those tiers Odyssey should be C tier and Valhalla is F tier those 2 aren’t AC games the combat in Valhalla is trash worst in the series I’m tired of ppl saying it’s good when it’s not Origins is a B tier game too
I love syndicate because it's more goofy fun and cartoonish
Black flag is the only AC I really enjoyed
Me personally I'd move 3 to C teir
Move Black Flag and Brotherhood to S
And drop Unity to Unity Teir because i was there at launch and immediately refunded it
LOL I agree that Unity should probably be D tier (F tier at launch), however the cityscape and free Dead Kings DLC is what elevates it to C for me.
AC 3 - underrated game, deserved S tier

2. AC4
3. Revelations
4. AC2
5. Brotherhood
6. Rogue
7. Unity
8. AC3
9. Syndicate

11. Odyssey
Haven't played the latest ones and forgot to list the spin offs

id swap black flag and ac 2 but other than that totally agree.
Do my eyes and ears deceive me???!!!
Did i just witness Syndicate and Rogue being praised?🙏
Odyssey, Origins at S tier? These are some of the worst games in history... (only world is beautiful)... This is not AC... this is bullsheet)))
