Just think of the logic: No one on the sidwalk, 40 cars on the street. I could block and enrage everyone now with my pure existence, or do the right thing! If you ride on the sidewalk - aren't kids doing the same? You are not doing it completely wrong, you are just in an age where it is technically not allowed anymore. As long as you are cautious and clever enough to see the driveways and reduce your speed to an appropriate one, there won't be any problems, ever! But this is the kind of "traffic participant", where you really think as a car driver "Hmm... what if I had to "sneeze" now, accidentally hit the gas pedal and the "nice gentleman" suddenly gets under my car? What is the actual punishment there?" But then you realise, that his brain damage is heavy, that even an event like this, a month in the hospital and maybe even paying everything from his own (since he was blocking traffic, when the solution was so easy - what is one traffic participant coming to late and causing chaos to everyone against 40 others who actually pay taxes?!) won't be enough. It's even more amazing how car drivers like to moan about lorries overtaking slowly and yet they still drive slower than a 44-tonne, speed-limited elephant and then speed off like a proper tosser to prove a point. You, with you're little car, commuting 30 minutes a day, barely reversing once a week at Tescos, with all the reverse sensors and cameras, are not going to teach a lorry driver how to drive. FYI, a car is the easiest thing to drive of all vehicles categories, but you understand this only after acquiring all driving licence categories. There overtaking is a joke to. Should be law the slower lorry has to back off the throttle, so the overtaking hgv can get back out of overtaking lane asap. Dual carriageway I mean. That's just selfish when they fight over 1 mph for miles and miles.
At the end regarding the lane closures. Its about time that when signs are flashing of lanes being closed, there should be automatic cameras to snap each vehicle and send a fine. Give them three gantry signs attempts to change lanes, then its snap time, and fine each and every vehicle in the "closed" lanes
The car driver with the white lorry behind him, needs to learn his high way code, the lane he was using is an over taking lane and the lorry was giving him a big hint.

4:20 - all lorries have speed limiters. So, the drivers need to accomodate for that when overtaking. When a lorry is overtaking, every inch counts, especially on short stretches of road, like in Peterborough. Whereas you, in you're PCP'd 2-series, can just wait and then speed up to make up for the lost time. As you did, only to prove you felt mentally violated by a bigger vehicle - despite all the efforts to prove otherwise by aggravating the situation.

Mr Uphillfreewheeler, did you know that road workers are human beings as well and are perfectly entitled to their breaks? It's even more amazing how car drivers like to moan about lorries overtaking slowly and yet they still drive slower than a 44-tonne, speed-limited elephant and then speed off like a proper tosser to prove a point.
You, with you're little car, commuting 30 minutes a day, barely reversing once a week at Tescos, with all the reverse sensors and cameras, are not going to teach a lorry driver how to drive.
FYI, a car is the easiest thing to drive of all vehicles categories, but you understand this only after acquiring all driving licence categories. In other words, you learn to humble yourself only with experience.
@@jarq19
1) The stopping distance of an HGV at 60 mph is 132 metres. No way could that HGV driver have avoided slamming into the car in an emergency.
2) The dash cam driver was keeping a safe distance from the slow moving HGV ahead of him. he was keeping away from the HGV in lane one so he wasn't lingering in his blind spot....you know the thing you truckers cry about the most.
3) As soon as the slow HGV pulled in, the car accelerated. What would the tailgating HGV have achieved if the dash cam car had driven up the other trucker's chuff? Absolutely bugger all, that's what.
4) Even if a car is travelling under the speed limit, there's absolutely no reason or excuse to tailgate.
5) Would you have passed your HGV test doing that? No, you'd have failed on the spot
6) If your wife and kids were in that car and the wanker in the HGV slammed into it wiping them out, can I assume you'd buy him a pint and congratulate him on a job well done.
7) The fact that you've assumed I only drive a car to Tesco just illustrates what an immature prick many of you truckers are.
8) I always make a point of reporting dangerous HGV driver and I don't take the complaint to the transport manager, I take it to the chief executive or the managing director of the company and I've had positive results. I filmed an artic driver tailgating a Mini through roadworks in the wet and that driver lost his job.
9) Grow up you petulant child
Or they pull out from side roads across oncoming traffic!
@@jarq19 car was leaving a safe gap to vehicle in front unlike the 44-tonne lorry you mention. Unfair as it seems, they have far more responsibility than most drivers and should respect that. Driving that close is criminal
Geezer on the bicycle....
Just get on the pavement, there wasn't anyone walking there. Why put yourself in danger, just to prove a point?
Yes it's illegal to ride on pavement, but in this instance it wouldn't be a problem
you said it yourself: "it's illegal to ride on pavement", and why should a cyclist break the law for someone else's benefit?
He had right of way. He entered the narrowing first.
@mrxmry3264 he could have got of his saddle and walked that little section or peddle faster 😂 like the old fella told him
When you know the lights are timed based on motor vehicles and you'll never clear it in time then the sensible and safest thing is to dismount and use the pavement. Everyone gets to where they want to go and there are no issues. But, no, that's not the cyclist way - it's all about meeeeeee. 🙄 Utterly pathetic.
@@StarskyQCYou call the cyclists entitled while saying they should yield to motorists. The entitled ones are drivers like you.
11:50 a lot of people use the second line to go straight, standard in MK
4:30 The reason HGVs drive so close is that keeping up their speed is more important to the drivers than safety.
Why so close ??
Pretty straightforward it’s to speed you up or make you fkkinmove outta da way 😂
It amazes me that people who drive for a living are so very bad at it, it’s like they have no pride in their work.
The cyclist group at 9.35 that crashed looked like local Police trainees..
The car driver with the white lorry behind him, needs to learn his high way code, the lane he was using is an over taking lane and the lorry was giving him a big hint.
2:52 some people haven’t got time too dilly dally
"Why do lorries drive so close"..slipstreaming, saves fuel, & they trust one-another !!
Ive been driving 44 years and doing Europe 29 years every week ,i can see all these well before they happen. i have a middle peddle it stops me running into them ,and i will never see them again in my life 3 minutes later .
3:18 no, DON'T send him to london! we already have enough idiots down here, we don't need any more! instead, the need to be reported and taken off the road.
4:00 if someone tailgated me like that, i'd do anything to get him off my ass. and yes, if that means brake-checking him (because nothing else works), THEN SO BE IT! the first step would be to slow down. speeding up is THE WORST thing to do in such a situation.
4:21 no argument about the 2 seconds but when being tailgated, 2 seconds are nowhere near enough, you need to keep more distance (a LOT more!) because otherwise if the worst happens, and you have to brake hard, the idiot behind you will be in your boot and push you into the car or truck in front before anyone knows it.
5:47 that camera needs to be focused on the traffic, not the dashboard.
If you brake check someone and they hit you, how are you going to explain that to your insurance company?
@@UnknownUser-bt4gk trying to get rid of a tailgater.
@@mrxmry3264 So basically you would be admitting causing the accident because you slammed your brakes on for no genuine reason other than to become a danger to someone else. You realise it's illegal right?

Police cyclists doing exactly what cyclists do on our narrow rural roads here in West Wales, two abreast making it impossible to, legally, overtake them!
One of them left his bike parked on double yellow lines on a corner, what a shocking example to all of us law abiding citizens out here in lala land 🤬😡😡
That's not exactly what cyclists do. These police were clearly very novice riders. Maybe the first time they'd been out on a bicycle!
13:27 - first off... How the hell did he think he was going to turn around on a bridge? Second, don't those double white lines / cheverons mean no crossing for that very reason???!!!
Sorry, but who else laughed at “well, peddle a bit faster” 🇬🇧🤣
10:53 the only sign that it reduces from two lanes to one appears to be a faded arrow in the right hand lane.
(Due to the injury levels being so far above average statistically during rush hours), I think we will soon get legislation to keep cyclist away from busy main roads during the busy periods. Hopefully this will save more lives.
08:20 how do you know this driver received an NIP? What’s the fine for that particular offence?
How did the video evidence prove the identity of the driver? There was no registration number visible.
Channel owner making stuff up as usual
And for what would he get a NIP
The driving from @The Retro Lab was appaling, if he doesn't understand overtaking on a road he should stay well away from any racetracks
And using harnesses without a roll cage or at least a harness bar is plain stupid
Ring Road ? It's a mini roundabout.
Tea is more important than a cyclist, anytime
cammers seem to like to drive over mini roundabouts
4:20 - all lorries have speed limiters. So, the drivers need to accomodate for that when overtaking. When a lorry is overtaking, every inch counts, especially on short stretches of road, like in Peterborough. Whereas you, in you're PCP'd 2-series, can just wait and then speed up to make up for the lost time.
As you did, only to prove you felt mentally violated by a bigger vehicle - despite all the efforts to prove otherwise by aggravating the situation.
Some drivers will put there lives and others at risk just to save seconds absolutely very poor driving

Can’t believe those road workers were on their arse drinking tea. Not at all normal…
The Retro Lab instead of speeding up and closing a gap for overtaking idiots, therefore increasing the risk of an accident, why not drive defensively and hold back? Let the idiots in front.
Mr Uphillfreewheeler, did you know that road workers are human beings as well and are perfectly entitled to their breaks? You, however, need to calm down and not blame others for the mishap that has happened to you. The oncoming vehicles should have given you more room but make good on what you have. Be a better person and in turn be a better cyclist.
9:10 Funniest. Clip. Ever!
11:59, driving under a red ❌ here in 🇳🇱? €280 at least and when you did more wrong, the Officer of Justice goes about it. The police here would pick out or send a fine to all red ❌-ignorers. It is a very rare and expensive thing to do here. Our motorways are camera monitored so they will check all the license plates that ignored the red ❌ es.

Mr Retro Lab, what gives you the right to stick a finger at the other motorist, where you triggered by their overtake? They should have been more considerate with their driving but you were being extremely rude, what happens if he had stopped and become aggressive and did something to you.

Seen most of these on other channels already. Wish they'd all stop reposting each other's clips, just means viewers have to waste a bunch of time.
It's the cammers who send their respective clips to all the You Tube channels. The YT producers don't know if a person has already sent a particular video to other You Tubers.
Does your brain work mate? Obviously the cammers send them to several channels to make sure they get there little bit a footage out there.
So am I right in thinking you want all these you tube channels to check each others videos to make sure they don't show the same video? all this just to satisfy your needs? Is that what you would like? Have a word with yourself.
@@SuperDarktide My brain works fine, if I'm seeing the same clips across all channels then obviously I'm just going to stop watching all but one of the channels, as will the other people who upvoted the comment.
