People in England get too angry on the road and this anger has become a way of releasing the frustrations they feel at every day life. The bus driver for instance didn't need to hoot the Range Rover again. He hooted him and he was leaving and that should have been the end of it. The second hoot was to say, you shouldn't have parked here and that then becomes quite authoritarian and it made the Range Rover driver angry which I can understand.
So the use of the horn is not a warning device it's to be used as aggressively as possible. I know it is to law but Rule 112 of the Highway Code is very clear on the purpose of vehicle horns, and states that they are only to be used in order to warn another road user of your presence. That means you should never honk as a greeting, or as an expression of annoyance.
