Yeah I picked one up as soon as it dropped w the free earbuds. In the beautiful green!! This speaker is amazing especially for its size. The customizable lights is next level at this price point.
I'm on my 4th soundcore boom 2 after 3 replacements only because those developed bass distortion after a little while. However soundcore always hooked me up with a replacement no questions asked. They always had good customer service in my experience. After using the 4th one for about a month it hasn't developed any distortion that I can notice and I do love the sound of it. It has a really good amount of bass for its size. Good speaker imo just gotta get the right one.
I bought one on Amazon via impulse buying. I returned my Sonos move 2 due to me not being able to justify a 500$ speaker sitting for most days. This things is stupid good. The sound easily rivals the Sonos and has better and more clear mids, the bass at high volumes resonates better and sounds less artificial. Just go buy this so soundcore gets giving us 10/10 products!
I bought one on sale right now from Amazon for 110 bucks, I think it's worth it sound is Crystal clear also really liked the old version of this bought year ago, they make it really good other Bluetooth speakers too I have all of them and also they makes awesome earbuds 2, is a top notch brand.

You would think they would put the bass speakers on the back so they could reflect the sound off of something. Same way they do car subs how they have them facing to the back so the bass bounces of a hatchback or trunk.

Yeah, I watched a comparison video between the Boom2Plus & the X20. It was a Bluetooth speaker massacre.😂 The X20 literally smoked the Boom2Plus in volume, clarity & detail. On the decibel meter the X20 was 5db louder & closer to 6 db louder. The Boom2Plus isn't a bad speaker, it's just overpriced at $249.99. There are speakers that'll outperform it for less. A full retail price of $199.99 would be reasonable, with sales prices dropping it down to $179.99 or less.😊

There's a Boom 2 Plus coming actually release date is as I write this comment. I have the Boom 2 from this review and before have Motion Boom Plus but the new one might combine the 2. Might consider it but a review would be necessary before making a decision.

The one massive let down with the new speaker is it's not really a stereo speaker where as the original is stereo. Easily fixed with two though 😂
