Bose's build quality is A+. The bass sounded super clean on the first song. When you were adjusting the EQ I could hear the difference clearly. Excellent review, as always! May have to pick this up for a Father's day present for my Dad.

Floss love the video. Or you can be one of the many who can put aftermarket speakers in your Vehicle Bose when you are into Audio but I definitely fell in love with JBL Speakers later.And yes there are many different but you have to choose for yourself. Thank you for all the great Videos. 💯✌️

I just acquired the Bose Soundlink Max, I love it more than the JBL Xtreme 3 or Sonos Move 2. It’s the right speaker sound in the right portable package with the right low lag Bluetooth tech. The bass is particularly nice, the treble and midrange are decent, an overall pleasurable sound signature.
Getting the blue dusk, the black picks up tons of dust and fingerprints.

Bose swept all 3! That Bose sounds more solid to me. Like they used fiberglass inside. The others sound like hollow boxes. In my opinion
JBL Extreme clearly sounded better imo. Which means, the JBL Authentics 200 is the best option for at home speaker (would sound cleaner, louder, have a wider soundstage, and have way more bass than either). One thing I've realized about Bose is they are just decent products for the amount they cost. You pay a premium for their name and their signature clean design style. The price never equates to the sound quality level you should be getting at Bose's typical retail price. This Bose product is really a $200 speaker imo maybe $250 if being generous... $400 is absolutely crazy if you really care about getting the best sound quality for your dollar.
I just bought a max and trust me it is hands down better than anything in its class. I tested it next to these speakers flossy did his side by side comparison too and it’s definitely on a different level

I did a side by side test with the Marshall Middleton and jbl xtreme 4 and trust me it’s in a league way above these speakers. It is worth it at $399 maybe give it a try next time before you make a comment without owning one

The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus will release on May 29th. It's gonna retail for $249.99. This is the predecessor to the Motion Boom Plus. I just wonder if whether or not people know about this. Definitely something to keep in mind when considering a Bluetooth speaker purchase.

Not very many people buy speakers because of backpack size. Most will buy for a great sound at a reasonable price. If it comes with a few extra pounds, then you'll deal with it. For me, it would be Tribit Storm Blast for $150. Extra weight on your back with extra weight in your pockets from savings!

Hell yea. I love Marshall speakers for the aesthetics to but I just bought this Bose and put it side by side with the Marshall Middleton and hands down it’s on a different level compared to Marshall and and speaker in its size class

That’s your headphones chief, no way to compare speakers on the internet, your headphones are tuned differently from the test speakers.

Great video Flossy! I've been watching the reviews on the speaker. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is about it not having a speakerphone? This is a speaker that you wanna jam to and not be interrupted by a phone call. I don't use my phone that much and hardly ever get calls, so it not having a speakerphone doesn't bother me. Party mode, I can see your point on that, but at least it's coming. I'm glad it has a 3.5mm jack and not just Bluetooth because you can plug in a MP3 player or a CD player or a Turntable. It's cool that it charges your phone. Not a must feature, but good to have.

Damn, I've never been a Bose fan because always felt the sound was too flat. This is the first speaker that caught my attention with that bass. I really like this build too. Just wanted to Floss to make a Floss Factor for the speaker of the year (also another request) 😂

Thought about it but no speakerphone which isn't bad but almost all others have it. Nice to see aux return also. I own the Boom 2 and Motion Boom Plus from soundcore.
I just got mine TODAY. I ABSOLUTELY love it. Yes it is overpriced. It's BOSE. Not a budget friendly company. The price will drop at least 50$-70$ on sale probably by the end of the yr. U will NOT be dissapointed with the purchase. The sound is incredible for the size. So compact and so powerful. The soundcore Boom 2 is just a level behind the Bose MAX. The boom2 is insane sound quality for the price. But the build quality is quite cheap. The bose is just a superior quality product. Feels expensive and sounds expensive. It's very NICE. I'm very happy with my purchase.
