Sir, If there are glass windows on Eastern and Western walls you are recommending to put some curtains is it not? But i feel that even though there are curtains the total heat provided by the sunlight has already entered the room. The correct thing would be to put something outside the glass window. This will arrest heat. But just that no one does this nowadays. I have seen in old French houses a single-window having 2 windows one outer made of wood which opens outside and one inner made of glass which opens inside the room. This makes a lot of sense. Of course, now we are having air conditioners so no need of the outer wooden window.
