In regards to the Cymbidiella, I also bought one last year, in May, from orchid garden. Mine took about a week to arrive in Romania, also had a few black spots, but they never spread and the paper didn't seem to be that wet. I potted mine in cocopeat and gave it lots of sun on my balcony. It drinks water like crazy, mine had grown a large fan of leaves since I got it, last year, until November, it had grown about 12 new leaves. Mine was attacked by some aphids, but she pulled through. It stopped growing much since November, I stopped watering that often and it is starting to pick up pace recently and I see some sort of growth on the base of it, not sure what it might be.
I like your renanthera a lot! Love those spots and the cloure combination is excellent. I agree, sometimes it's best to move on to a better and healthier plant. I experienced it with my seedlings, who dies and the mature ones made it to blooming. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so thrilled to hear that Renantheras aren’t particularly fussy! My ascocenda has done so little in SH, so I was concerned the same would be true of my Red Dragon.
Hi 😊 I just but a dendrobium stardust chyomi and hope I will succeed with it, thanks for the heads up about the keikes. Just want too tell you that your video's has open up my interest in the variety of orchids. So thank you ❤
I've wanted a Rene Marques Flamethrower since first seeing your care video, and I've got one coming in the mail today! Now I've got my sights set on Gongoras 😅😅
Hi Danny, I have a question for you. A while ago, I saw a blooming Dendrobium Cuthbertsonii in one of your videos. Can you share some details of how you managed to grow and bloom it in your warm climatic conditions, given that Cuthbersonii is a cold grower with high humidity demands. Thank you
Hi Danny! I’ve had two phals for about 1 year already, they are my first orchids ever. When I got them, their flower buds blasted and I since moved them to semi-hydro clay balls. They are very healthy and has grown about 4-5 leaves and a bunch of new roots the past year but...it should be flowering season for them but they just keep popping out leaves and no flower buds...there has been the temperature drop, I have been fertilizing them...not sure what’s going on! Any info will help! Thank you!
Hello Dany! Do you have a video that shows your growing st up room? Having visual would help get ideas and creative with the space I have. Also, I have five sick orchids: 2 with Fungus infection I think (yellowish petit spots) and three that are no roots in an ICU(from one of your video) they have been in there for two weeks now and I have seen no progress so far; should I keep waiting for two more weeks or do something else?
Hi! I need help with someone with experience. I make kokedamas and starting to sell them on Etsy, I want your advice in how to wrap a blooming orchid, what do you think is the best way? Got no problem with the box is how to preserve the flowers that I'm worry about.
Hi Danny, I just bought a liquid orchid fertilizer 3+6+6 and it says use weekly is this a bloom booster? And do you think it's enough or is it too weak?
What kind of orchid are you using it on? Bloom boosters usually have a high phosphorous count (the middle number), but recent studies have shown that a higher nitrogen count (the first number) prevents phals from losing their older leaves!
@@MissOrchidGirl i m dying to see the flower of fhu shu,i also has one,but medium size plant, i searched a lot,but only found some images of the flower, not any single video,i really want to know, what is the flower size, how its smell...
So happy for you, your orchids look so healthy. God bless!
Glad you were able to get that dendrobium Stardust. Enjoyed seeing your Renanthera. What a beauty!!!
