There WAS actually a different aircraft that had TWELVE propeller based engines that was indeed capable of sustained flight and it was called the Dornier Do X, which was built in the year 1929. I also found out that the Soviets/Russians DID, in fact, made three eight propeller engine aircraft that was called the Tupolev ANT-20, a.k.a., the Maxim Gorky, the Tupolev ANT-20bis/PS-124 in the 1930s, and, prior to them, the Soviets/Russians had built the Kalilin K-7 around the same time as the Germans built the Dornier Do X. Unfortunately, human errors caused all three aircraft to crash. The USA also had an eight-engine aircraft, the Hercules H-4, a.k.a., the Spruce Goose, but, because of its material designs, and manufacturing issues, it never got to be a successful military aircraft. Had Howard Hughes redesigned the aircraft with better materials, and with a better overall design, it could have been a successful design. Sadly, with the propeller age of aircraft being pretty much limited to small commuter aircraft now, it is highly unlikely that the USA, or anyone else, would ever make an eight-engine aircraft, even though it certainly is more affordable than jet, or even the experimental nuclear fusion, or ion powered rocket, aircraft.
Love this game I think it's the best out of the series and zero fighter is a beast in this game his powered shot absolutely destroys anything in it's path

Convenient OST malfunction at 8:44. I love that stage theme, but have never really liked that particular boss theme in Strikers 1945 PLUS. All the other boss themes are better in my opinion.
I saw the ending of getting to the last boss on the first round. My rating was: Great Fighter (or something like that). Seriously - tears welled up in my eyes.
Part of the trick is knowing exactly which pixels in the player craft and enemy projectiles actually register collisions - the zones are usually much smaller than the sprites would convey; still stupidly difficult though
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays Even small hit boxes don't explain that difficulty for me, the boss halfway through is the area in particular. It looked tough on half speed. Way past my skills.
It's not. Believe that. Luck is luck, but math says you can only be lucky so many times before the system become questionable. You can prove this to yourself... Sit at the sticks of a NGO arcade console and play the game until you beat it 2x through without losing 1 life....Be prepared to see multiple machines come and go during your exercise in futility. That being said, it's a monumental game, and you should play it as much as you can. At the arcade it helps if you play alone on the second player side (right).
I love the serie. But sadly strikers plus is a bad mashup and at the bottom. The orientation also have a negative impact on the gameplay. Ist good. But not as the origins. And it lacks too much.
