Always humbling to watch great women lifters. I was never more than a decent regional lifter many years ago and can’t help comparing to which I always come up short. More power to them. Rivas’s 210 was just under the 213 he made in the comp to gain bronze. I hope he stays healthy this quad as he was all beat up a good part of the last one.

Saphna. Not that far under. He’s got 2 Pan Am games gold plus 2 other Pan Am championships gold, usually top 5 at Worlds when he’s healthy. He’s had some injuries the past couple years that have slowed him down.
