his Video shows a mugo pine that I got from the nursery, how I prepared it to become a bonsai in the future. Involves plant selection, how to do bud selection, pruning and repotting. It was kind of long so I split it in 2 parts. Thanks

taking a nice tree making it nice, ok, .... trashing the other bc it isn't already nice is bonkers, the real talent makes the trash tree nice. Like with people.

Just so you know this guy died a few years ago, which is why he hasn't put out any content for a long time. His wife came onto his facebook and gave us the message Doug.

After transplant to bonsai pot, should it stay in the shade for a while or sit in the sun? I have I believe regular soil in here I don’t know if it needs fast draining like I read on the Internet, is that good?

How often do you water it while it’s in the pot?

so recently a friend of mine gave me his mugo pine. it only got watered wen it rained, the roots were growing out the pot, needles a drab green so wen he gave it to me, even tho its autumn, i repotted it because i wanted the roots to breathe. ive been watering every day with a hint of bonsai fertilizer added in and its only been two days so i havnt seen any dramatic results. does anyone know if the repotting has done damage or if it was ok. wondering what i can expect...

5 years later do you still have that tree? That would be impressive
