cheers! I never hard problems with it, just gotta watch out for that u dont use lotion or smth on your hands and not ideal if you are at a constuction site or smth
Thanks, Thomas, for another in-depth review. Regarding the exhaust sound, is there any sound feed through a tube to within the cabin similar set up with the 911, or sound amplified through the front speakers?
Excellent review as always Thomas and Lea! While I like the overall design, I agree with some other comments that Porsche could be more bold in these updates (while maintaining the DNA of their lineage). That said, all Porsches seem to age well! With regard to the “Bishamon” design on the seats, this is becoming more and more popular it seems. Even my Fujifilm camera is wrapped in a textured material with this same type of pattern.
Yeah, the Porsche prices have gotten a wee bit crazy in the last few years. But if customers want to shovel money at them who can blame 'em for takin' it. Beautiful spec here that red and black just really works together.
I love the look and comfort of the Range Rover Sport however the dynamics and engineering of the Porsche is hard to ignore. The trouble with sports cars these days is that you just cannot use them without losing your licence. Speed cameras everywhere makes me think I may as well go for the comfort and avoid the temptation of ripping up the tarmac?

Your girlfriend Lea is charming. The Porsche GTS is a real heartbreaker. It so involving and top notch with a price to match. I thought about getting the S but after watching this review I'll have to reconsider and wait a little longer to purchase this one with a substantial down payment to lower monthly cost and paying it off early. That's when the real joy begins. The 2024 and 2025 Porsche v8 dropped cylinder deactivation. A good move for better performance amd long reliability. Good review as always.

Thank you very much for your interest in this topic. I also bought cars with animal skin leather seats before I did my research and got to know the industry. The most important thing is: With today's modern materials, you have nothing to lose, just to gain. You achieve the same kind of luxury and comfort or even better while having the same or better durability with less impact on humans, animals and the environment. You can use fabric/cloth, microfibre or leatherette. The classic approach is using oil/plastic as source material. Overall, a vehicle contains about 300 kg plastic. A car seat needs about 5 kg plastic. So the overall plastic share for the seats is very low and it is at this moment the most efficient way to produce a car seat. A couple of litres of fuel equals a car seat basically. So if you want to save oil/plastic, rather look at consumption for energy, fuel and heating and to other car parts than the seat. Note that animal skin leather also always contains a plastic coating for durability. However, long-term we should of course find raw oil alternatives. So going further, seats can be made from recyclables (e.g. from PET-bottles or old fishing nets) or even increased share of plant-based materials (like pine oil, canola oil or start-up materials like Pinatex from pineapple leaves or Desertex from cactus fibre or the mixed-plant-based Mirum, so be seen at th-cam.com/video/S1aNZeoatmE/w-d-xo.html). On a calculation base, by ditching animal skin leather from car interiors, the amount of emissions (CO2e) is reduced by 85 (!) % (www.press.bmwgroup.com/africa-dom-easteurope/article/detail/T0403389EN/on-the-market-from-2023:-bmw-and-mini-models-with-vegan-interiors?language=en) - and that is a very conservative calculation. So it is at this moment the most important thing you can do to make car interiors more sustainable. A good example for high-end luxury with ventilated animal free seats is the BMW X7 with Sensafin: th-cam.com/video/1pRNkW9nrrw/w-d-xo.html And the Kia EV9 with plant-based oil share: th-cam.com/video/6vXePQi_MAk/w-d-xo.html New leatherette materials can be superior in every aspect, even for cleaning: th-cam.com/video/u94YXJ72UTA/w-d-xo.html More and more natural materials are rising: th-cam.com/video/nRSsXEnwHDo/w-d-xo.html Also check out what the animal skin leather industry tried to with our channel: th-cam.com/video/nP_CvLlaFlI/w-d-xo.html For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: th-cam.com/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/w-d-xo.html Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally. Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest: www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/ard-story/videos/illegales-leder-video-100.html In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat is the "first" misuse case, the hide remains a profitable body part. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you demand it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and harms the environment, you make them more profitable. Alternatively, you could support industries with your wallet which try to improve the sustainability of materials. Also, if you turn the argument around to "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize that it doesn't make sense (and is ethically doubtful) to discuss the primary use of individual body parts of mammals. Mind experiment: You are getting slain down on the street; would it matter to you if it was for your smartphone or for your purse? Remember that animal skin leather is no different to fur, fur is just leather where the hair is still on. And fur is widely not accepted for clothing anymore, and of course not for cars. 2 things that Porsche does that I don’t love. Gigantic wheels, headlights. Give me back the air-cooled style headlights with the walls on either side of the hood. I get that aero is a thing, but STYLE is a thing too!

Me : I don’t like the horse in the Porsche logo, so I won’t go for it.

How comfortable is ride in normal mode , is it significantly more stiffer than for example Macan S on 21’ wheels?

When are you buying one of these for Lea?
@thomas 👀👀👀😂
pssst that might get expensive ;)
I imagine the passenger screen would be great for the GPS map, when the passenger is helping the driver find an address.
German Engineering. Precision. Quality.
TLDW, does this still use the Turbo GT's headers?
It will be available in europe? i believe previous one wasnt.

I think the most logical option in the Cayenne line up is Cayenne S E-Hybrid.

For seeing how the animals are being treated and transported in the global leather industry, watch this footage: th-cam.com/video/tkjCAmq1_8E/w-d-xo.html
Note that the footage is genuine and was recorded by a highly decorated investigative journalist in Germany I know myself personally.
Also a group of researchers and German journalists from public media could recent directly trace the connection between car animal leather production and illegal burning down Amazon rain forest:

In a high animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter.

Porsche needs to update the ICE Macan now plsssssss no more EV
these are the ICE Macans you still get as long as you can still get one:

Wasn't really interested in the car but I'm glad I watched it anyway because the Passenger Princess is a lot of fun, made my day. 😄
-I like it even more in the rear.
Please try to keep it PG 🤣😂
18mpg = no problem......180K = problem...... nice dream
It looks like a grown Macan
180k for a Cayenne?
No thank You.
Very cool car, but disappointing that Porsches are becoming so much more expensive.
give us more of the exchaust sound. jfc. 2 seconds at 2:53 and that's it.
Not sure about the facelift …. Seems so minimal…. I guess that is typical Porsche . Shame they got rid of analog rev counter 😢. They are epic machines though
It looks old as the first Cayanne but I have never been a fan of Porsche's expansion out of the sport cars anyways.
Sq8 performance much better looking so I have that instead
No such thing as SQ8 performance. It’s RSQ8 performance
2 things that Porsche does that I don’t love. Gigantic wheels, headlights. Give me back the air-cooled style headlights with the walls on either side of the hood. I get that aero is a thing, but STYLE is a thing too!
They are 22inch. The RSQ8 or Urus use up to 23inch.
Jaguar Fpace svr has more power and costs 90k.
Almost half the price and more performance.
04:25 😂
I prefer GLE Coupe 63 AMG with the V8
Even the interiors are nicer than Mercedes
At this price point still with no electronically adjustable steering
It’s a option
Seat controls are so cheap for the price
It's funny to see how slow the acceleration of these ICE cars are now compared to the EV'S.
Everyday driving is not about acceleration.
I really dont understand the guys that dont want animal screen on their seat, like bro that animal is made for this shit, its already dead bruh🤦🏽♂️
$180K but VW still gives you cheap black plastic that scratches from day one. That's pure arrogance.

Worst company in the world for car. This company are poor company ,car from production parts not available to install in car, really cheap company the option for car not cost 600$ really Garbage company.
Top suv 😅
I don't like it. It has gas struts for the bonnet. No one uses those anymore.
In this type of segment every car will have gas struts. It’s not a hatchback with a stick.
V8 DIESEL rules! Why on earth get a petrol 😳😭😭😭
Because it’s a sports SUV…
@@JohnGuidetti751 But a Cayenne will never be a sports car anyway. And the diesel V8 just matches the vehicle so well!
