    Hey, could you also provide the rationale of the test? For example, explain the biomechanics of what the test is doing? To have a better understanding of what you are trying to provoke?

      In this case the hypothesis is that you're creating an anterior shearing force at the SI joint through the pull of the Rectus femoris, hip extension and anterior force over the PSIS

    Is there a difference between sacroiliac dysfunction and sacroilitis?

      Yes. The first can’t be assessed reliably. The second is an active inflammation of the SI joint. This is far from a gold standard test for the condition though.

    Sir could you suggest me best permanent treatment for sacroilitis as i am suffered from it since 1 year. Inflammation and pain has made my life miserable and movement free.

      There is no single best treatment. But exercise generally works well. Have a look at our video on SIJ exercises
