Thanks so much for the info. I have been trying to do extensive research on SIJ since my school didn't teach us much and also trying to treat my own pelvic girdle related pain.

Very interesting sub grouping approach. Too bad the second group (excessive forces) lacks of evidence in the treatment approach. I often find them the most difficult to treat (not just for SIJ, but in general)
Thanks for the video guys, great stuff as usual 👍

Can previous injury cause excessive force closure?
I had a pretty bad lower back strain 18 months ago and have had SIJ issues on and off since. What would you suggest as a treatment plan? Skip the core stability and focus on de stressing. I feel stress is making me worse
    Many thanks

Great video! Fills in a big piece of the puzzle for me. Sacral torsion causing irritation and then excessive force closure in response to the irritation exacerbates the situation. Do you have a video on treatment of rotated sacrum? Thanks!

Have a look at our video on SIJ myth busting. If sacral torsion exists, we are not able to detect it reliably as clinicians

Physiotutors if I sent imaging confirmation would you be open to discussing? Plus I can feel it when I sit: Sitz bones are offset enough to feel when I sit on a hard surface
