    The only reason hdb property prices continue to climb is, it is tie to Singapore reserves n economy. Singapore government will never allow it to fall. However, everything has a limit, the bubble will burst eventually. It just a matter of when.

      we have been talking for the longest time ever. esp for hdb. when prices high. buyers complain. when prices low. sellers complain. so which is which? hiaz. that why i feel policy makers have a hard time...

      Copi 10 years ago 70-90c....today anyhow $1.40-1.80...millionaire hdb flats will have more n more esp in choice location. i have been in this property trade since my enbloc days....i will still bet on it.

    We hv to ask ourself first , look at hongkong country. Their own housing are so expensive and small since many years back .Prices gradually on high peak in next many years ahead in singapore

    Kallang whampoa seriously is good location. Near to city and many hawker centre that sell food at reasonable price. Go town buy branded good aldo easier 😂

      It's the next Queentown or even tiong bharu. In fact. It's not so congested yet. Nice place to stay.

    10 yrs ago fresh gradutes were getting $3k avg (technical). Since 2023 fresh gradutes are getting $4k , 30% hiked.
    In USA, fresh gradutes from business could get usd$6000, IT post is $8k for Fresh gradutes .
    With limited supply of houses and more younger couples getting married.
    Their salary is the main key factor for hdb resales snd condo prices to beyong $1m to $2m for sure.
    Coz real demands ( not speculations) are chasing limited good location supplies. ( Not woodland or jurong west )

      Today, those doing well with only 10-15 years working experience can command $8k upwards. Some even $15-20k pm.

    Have you considered how your children are going to afford their own houses? How much of their monthly income are going in to repay the loans, and what quality of life are they going to life. Work and work, pay and pay 👏👏👏

      U are a past..either too lazy to find alternative incomes or just being u,,always lack behind,.if your children don’t follow u have his own thinking he sure can survive! If he follow u, then doom for all generations and come here to give this comment

      U either worry too much or very noble. You only need to worry about Singapore no PAP. Lol. My starting pay only 600SGD because I only pass 2 o level, but I still bought resale hdb at record price then. If last time I worry price too high, I will never get married and have kids. my kids all have HDB but they work overseas or married overseas, they always miss Singapore because they said SG the best and planning to have their kids educated here. Singapore will continue to progress under PAP, life is a bit tough here because Singapore is small and no resources, so only way is to work hard. We Singapore are not 富二代 got natural resources. Lol.

    Who are the millionaire buyers? I’m very curious if they are true Singaporeans or new citizens from China.
    Didn’t Govt say HDB will be kept affordable? How many people can afford million dollar or even 4-room flats?
    I know young couple working in IT with good salary that cannot afford 4-room resale flats now!

      I don't have exact numbers. But been on the ground. I can share. 70-80% are true born SC. Anyway. They are part of us. Let's embrace the diversity.

      Not really. I seen flats n condo today left with 50 years. Their prices is higher than ever before. This is supported by data.

      Property prices go up over time. A decade ago. Pinnacle duxton 5 room sold for 1m. Wow. Big hoo har. Today easily 1.5m....

    😂 my first property is a resale 3room hdb next to my mum block, same design same size. She paid 20k, i pay 160k, she said i xiao😅. But i sold for 320k and upgrade to private and buy more property 😂😂😂 my advice is property is a need, so buy asap.

      But here others saying price out of control ,,they want hdb like your mum buy at 20k, u pay 22k, then sell at 24k,, but u can’t buy private

    These are all very huge flats. An equivalent private apartment of these sizes will cost double of what they sold. Unlikely to be able to afford such huge public housing again. A standard flat under 1,000sqft in size will remain under S$1million.

    HDB is Public Housing ! Only Foreigners will pay such price , not the real Singaporeans ! Also , such transaction is in doubt ! 😂

      @@gabrielchan4420New citizens from China can buy HDB flats and to them, a million dollar for HDB is super cheap compared to what they can get in China.
      From June 2022 to June 2023, Govt had given many citizenship to foreigners, many are Chinese so most likely from China.
      Surprisingly, 68% of new citizens are above 60 years old! So strange!
