I have an Epiphone 2016 Olympic that I had Rudy’s rewire with the Rhythm Chief DeArmond replica. They also removed the composite Piezo bridge , battery box , tone controls replacing them with a rosewood bridge, linear pots and caps on the pick guard. Then setting it up for flat wounds, I love it. Cost about $400 for the work & parts plus 175 for the Rhythm Chief 1100. I originally purchased the Deluxe at the same time and kept the Olympic. I wish I had kept both..
I know this is an old video, but I'm wondering how the guitar is plugged in with the new guard/pickup. Is it wired to the original jack somehow, or is there a new jack on the guard. Thanks.
